Zenernet was the first of 3 solar companies I shopped with. They made it seem easy. The other companies were difficult to communicate with, even getting quotes. Zenernet was able to give me a quote that day over the phone, some other companies needed days or even weeks which was not a good sign. Plus they didn't offer the same comprehensive package that Zenernet has; warranties, equipment, and other perks. My solar is installed and working great. Best part is playing with the energy management controller. It's clear these guys are pros and have been doing solar for years. Definitely earned a 5 star rating.

Our experience with Zenernet was excellent! My husband and I had heard so much about solar but didn’t really know where to start. We saw Zenernet on Best Company and found their educational approach refreshing. Not only did they teach us about how solar works but also personalized our system based on what we need and want. They even included us in the design of where we wanted our panels on our home. This was very important to us since it is a new house and we could see what our system will look like on our roof. There was no high pressure salesman standing in our living room and we could do all of this on our own schedule. Their follow up and help understanding what we were getting into made our decision to go with them simple.

Sadly I was not able to consummate a completed transaction with Zenernet. In my instance, it proved not to be my best move mathmatically. It was a matter of the time I had to recapture the investment. Please understand that working with my representative, Jarrett, at Zenernet was great. He took time and explained everything to me. He made it easy to understand every aspect of acquiring a money-saving Solar System for my home. I was presented with a very complete proposal to study. I was never pressured at all. Zenernet would have definitely been my choice for a great Solar System. Even though I did not have a system installed, Zenernet understood and agreed with my decision. That is a professional company. Solar will significantly reduce your electric expenses and you will save money for use elsewhere. I highly recommend that you work with Zenernet and discover the benefits of Solar power. "My wife and I had been researching for over a year the pros and cons of going solar. Once our decision was reached to move forward with the installation we contacted 5 different companies via local ads and the internet. Each company did a full evaluation of our requirements and provided supporting documents. The proposals were reviewed and discussed with 3 of the 5 companies (2 failed to follow-up with our questions and one even forgot about an on-site visit that they wanted to re-schedule; we did not accept their request). After several days reviewing the proposals we narrowed our decision down to 2 companies. Both were fairly close in final costs. Zenernet was even a tad more expensive. We contacted the 2 companies with questions regarding our unique roof type, Decra Roofing System. Company A replied with "Oh, not a problem; don't worry about it". Our rep at Zenernet went the extra mile as they have done with us since the initial contact. Cedric performed his due diligence as well as myself even contacting the roof mfg. Cedric and I had several discussions finally arriving at what we feel is the best solution for mounting the solar array. Cedric researched the market and found a more than adequate solution. Needless to say Zenernet has truly gone the extra mile in working with us and in working with the install contractors to be certain that as we progress thru the initial stages, permits, etc. they will be our trusted point of contact. My wife and I feel most confident that we made the right decision. At no time did we feel pressured or feel we were rushed in making a decision; we are certain that Cedric and Zenernet will be there to insure a quality install and most importantly be there years from now should we need them. I chose to go with Zenernet after dealing with sales people from other companies that either did not really know what they were talking about or were being dishonest with me. I originally learned about Zenernet from this website. I liked the reviews, their rating and their company philosophy. They have not disappointed me. Where other companies made me feel like it is all about them, Zenernet made me feel like they cared about my solar needs. For example, if you have a preference for a certain brand of solar panel, they can create a proposal using that brand. Currently, my solar system is in the permitting stage, and it should be installed within two weeks. Zenernet was the first company that I spoke with about solar and probably the most informative. In the end I went with them, because I felt that they were the most honest and knowledgeable. Also, their warranties are excellent. Another company that had come to my houses told me that I would need a new electrical panel. It has turned out not to be necessary. I was told by one company that I would need 18 solar panels. Zenernet built a proposal for me using the exact same panels and determined that I would only need 12 panels, and they have a performance guarantee that the will have to meet. The solar installer that Zenernet sent out for the on-site inspection was extremely thorough. The installer was here for two hours. I have a flat roof over nine years old. It was determined that I would need to re-roof to have the twenty year warranty after solar installation. They had no problem if I wanted to use my own roofer. I will update this review after installation of the solar system.

Absolutely incredible team at Zenernet. The best experience I've ever had partnering with a company on a home improvement. Solar sales doesn't have the best reputation. Zenernet addresses this with a highly informative and educational consultation. I was assigned a direct contact who managed the process cradle to grave. They hold themselves accountable every step of the way that include layers of guarantees & warranties. I researched several options and they were less expensive by $3,000 AND installed better quality, more efficient solar panels, mounting hardware, etc. than the larger solar companies. I really was blown away by the professionalism. These guys are experienced, proven pros and see their customers as partners for the long term.

I am a retired US Army Veteran and a hard guy to put my faith in a company to make a purchase of this nature. However, I found the entire process of getting all the necessary information to make a decision on getting solar to be outstanding. The Zenernet professional that assisted me, Jarrett, thoroughly gave me complete data upon which to make a rational decision on my later purchase. The process took me through a well designed system that was built for me. Zenernet was my choice to get solar of several other companies. I have signed the contract at the beginning of last summer and I still do not have my system running after almost one year. I paid cash for the system and there is no communication after my last payment has been cleared! They keep changing the person in charge of the project and that person newer answers the phone. I'm totally disappointed in the way they do business. Now I have the panels sitting on my roof since last October and they just collect dust! I hope somebody in the management will read my review and finish the job started...

I've had major problems with Zenernet as a contractor. First, we had to augment my costs to include a backup for my entire house. When we went out to gain bids, I asked all the bidders to provide a quote so that I could back up my entire house (rather than just a few switches). After I accepted Zenernet's bid, they informed me that my quote was only for a few switches and I would have to decide which switches I wanted to hook up. Please keep in mind ALL my other bids were for an entire house backup so I don't think I was miscommunicating my scope. Anyway, I had to add $6000 to my costs to get the house backed up. We had to amend the scope a second time because they couldn't implement the solar configuration that they had bid. Instead of putting it on my second story roof, they had to move it to the first story roof. I wanted to put it onto my second story to keep my second story cooler but was unable to do that. Third, its taken forever to get everything completed. I signed my original contract with Zenernet on 5/12/2021. Today is 12/16/2021 and my project still hasn't been activated by my utility. Fourth, I don't know how they treat their employees. I found out when they came back to do some more work that one of the guys got heat stroke while he was working on my roof. I was not out observing, but one of the employees told me that his co-worker had heat exhaustion and was throwing up all the way home. Not the way I want to have things done nor the way I want to have people treated who work for us.

Very disappointed in this company. They have stalled, failed to get plans approved, took my money up front and had every excuse in the book. It wasn't until I asked for arbitration to get my money back that all of a sudden they did the install. Put the panels in the wrong place. Told me the battery would run more items than it can. Still not completed. I started this in July and it is the last half of December. Just needed this for 2021 taxes but it doesn't look like we are going to make it. Very disappointed.

we are into our 8th month, still waiting to pass inspection . they keep dropping the ball on this project. having a hard time getting in touch with people they just don't return calls or email. The only person i can stay in touch is the gentleman who sold me on Zenernet he is the only one who does keep in touch, the problem is that they lie to him also. how do i know this i have been told according to the notes in my file was that the county was holding things up but according to the county it's Zenernet that is not getting back to the county.How do i know this, i went to the county offices to check on the hold up.Problem being that the plans have a 100amp breaker and the installer put in 200amp. sounds like a easy fix well that was on October 6th today is December 4th.even the salesman can't get a straight answer . i've had the panels and battery installed in August they look great sitting on my roof to bad i still write a check to the electric company every month.

IT'S BEEN A YEAR AND MY SYSTEM IS STILL NOT OPERATIONAL. I had already done quite a bit of research, and I still had A LOT of questions. I was frustrated with the way many companies presented the information and quotes. For me, going solar is a big deal. It's a significant upfront cost (even if, or especially if, you are financing) and it's a long-term choice. I wanted to understand as best I could exactly what I was getting into. Shae and Brandon were patient, respectful, responsive and clear. I felt that I had been provided all the information I needed to make an informed response so I signed with Zenernet. ONE YEAR LATER AND MY SOLAR SYSTEM IS STILL NOT OPERATIONAL. At every stage of the process, there have been issues and delays, far too many to recount here. Needless to say, the attention to detail that I experienced from their sales team was entirely lacking from the project management side. It took them 9 months to get my panels installed (July 2021) and as of today (September 28, 2021) my system is still not operational. This experience has been nothing less than abysmal.

THe sales team is very responsive. However, once the account is switched to a project manager, everything falls apart. The worst is the subcontractor who, first had our single-home system as a ground array, then the surveyor they sent placed the electrical panel on the wrong side of the house (of which he took pictures of), and then no one is paying attention to the efficiency of the system. Yes, they sold 16 panels, but are not really interested in the efficiency of those panels and how they're installed on the roof and in which direction. There is a lack of follow-through with the customer and listening to what the customer wants. If this gets fixed, I'll update this review.

My experience with the Sales person was great. He was organized. I like the templates they utilize. It's easy to understand the proposal. I haven't gone solar yet so I can't really say what is the quality of the product.

Seem to be more honest and up front about what they were doing more so than many other companies. The support from Zenernet itself is good but follow up isn't. I'm still waiting for them to show up. They're pulling things from different suppliers and different parts of the country and perhaps the coordination could stand some re-evaluation.
