I spoke with Stan F today to review a proposal. Stan was very informative and honest. I had requested a battery back up system but Stan recommended that for my situation it wasn’t really necessary or cost effective. I appreciate his honesty. I pointed out a couple of ambiguities in the presentation and he didn’t try to BS his way around them, but noted he would update the proposal. Had an issue with the payment plan and he said he understood and would discuss with management. He didn’t respond like a few others that said that’s how we do business and would not even consider my request. Again Stan was honest, attentive to my comments and not a pushy used car salesman. My biggest issue in my solar quest is companies want to sign you up and then come back after engineering is done with potential additional costs. Stan was up front after I discussed this with him that the only potential up scope could be the panel size.

I didn't choose Zenernet, but I wanted to leave a review because Stan was very conscious of my time. He know I was already talking to other people, so he would ask me if I already knew about certain parts of his presentation, and if I had any questions. He would move along without repeating what I may have already heard from others.
I think this is important because it shows initiative on how he cares for the customer's time. And it didn't come off as pestering as well. I think he did a great job and the only reason I didn't go with Zenernet, is because my company has some internal discounts with SunPower.

Love the consultitative nature of my many calls with Stan, the sales consultant. It's not high pressure, which will turn me off in an instant, it's very informative. They let me take my time to make the decision. I did a lot of research myself, their numbers do check out, no shenanigans or tricks. The solar panels recommended were also of very high quality and efficiency. Although I ended up going with a local guy who made a more compelling reason on ROI, I still feel that Zenernet is a more than decent company, I would rank them as a close second among the 6 companies I dealt with. I recommend you to at least include them in your search.

Brian B, my representative, has been very diligent and patient with me as we have tried connecting for some time. He has been very informative in regards to explaining the services, quality, and commitment of this company to it’s customers. We discussed several aspects and unknowns regarding my home and what may be the best initial approach. As far as ZENERNET goes, at least online, it is rated as the best solar company. As far as my personal understanding and comfort level with the company, well, time will tell. I’m learning, as much as possible or as available information, about the company, reviews, etc. Ask me again as our project progresses!

The meeting that we had was very informative and they were very upfront with all the information, they didn't hide any information for me. They had answers for every question that I had, they have pretty good reviews, a very good rate, and again they are very upfront and they gave me a good price to compare to the other company that I was getting quotes from. Zenernet gave me a pretty good price and they were not pushy at all to close the sale or hide anything and the other company was pretty pushy and very aggressive to close the sale. They're pretty responsive and answer my emails or text messages pretty quick. Installation is on schedule.

So far the whole team has been helpful in starting of my job. The seller was very helpful in setting up the right system and answered all my questions thoughorly . The Job supervisor has been very helpful in getting the right design for my project. The design company drew up plans and I had a few problems with the placement of some of the panels and they went back and re-designed them like I wanted. There has been NO high pressure selling points like I had with so many others. I am looking forward to the job moving forward to the install portion and seeing the system arrive and get installed. So far..So good

The sales person, Heather M are professional and highly respectful. I found her knowledge of the product and services to be the best of the 15 competitors I contacted. She were never pushy but always ready to answer any question I had. Brad, the project manager, was engaged and very responsive. When I asked about optimizing the layout to account for things as insignificant as Christmas lights, he worked with the engineering team to help satisfy me. The installers were all profession and clean. The project took 2 days longer than planned but because they kept me in the loop on the progress and hold ups, it was never an issue and I could plan accordingly. I would highly recommend Zenernet to my friends, and already have. Great job.

We turned the key on our solar system three weeks ago. Zenernet has exceeded all our expectations in the design, installation, implementation, and monitoring of our system. Our consultant, Greg, guided us step by step to make sure we understood exactly what equipment we were getting and how much electricity our system would produce. Our project manager, Debra, walked us through the installation process, which only took a day and a half. JP made sure that all proper paperwork was filed. All three were available any time we had questions during every part of the process. Debra and JP also made sure that we understood the monitoring system, which has increased our awareness of our electricity use. We did a great deal of research and talked to several other companies before choosing Zenernet. Their warranty and service could not be beat. We are looking forward to a long relationship with them.

Zenernet isn't the first solar supplier I spoke with, but they were the last. I'd gotten a 'used car dealership' vibe from two prior vendors, and it was such a refreshing experience to talk to these guys and not have to put up with that at all. They were super knowledgable, and clearly confident in their solution (and service), but never pushy. I spoke with two sales people throughout my experience, and both were of the same caliber, so I feel confident that this is a cultural choice at the company, and not my own good luck from just having got the right guy on the line. Maybe the most impressive was the knowledge of the particulars of the solar market in my area. Rebates, the power company's shady on-peak/off-peak rules, and the local buyback of a system's overpoduction are different from region to region, and while these guys are based in Kansas City, their grasp of the hairy details here in Phoenix could've fooled me into thinking they were in AZ company. I'd definitely recommend giving them a chance if they serve your market. Thanks Zenernet.

My journey to solar panel installation started with a trip to Costco. I've seen solar panel companies promoting their products at Costco for years. At that Costco trip, I decided it was time. I made an appointment with the Sunrun representative at Costco. He gave me a great presentation at my home. I decided to follow the Chinese truism of never completing a sale without having 3 quotes so I made some inquiries online and found 6 to 8 solar panel companies. They were all competitively priced. I decided on Solar Optimum and Zenernet at the end for their superior warranties. Solar Optimum was slightly better priced than Zenernet, but I trusted the Zenernet representative Greg and liked his professionalism. I decided to use both companies for my two properties. The installation process with Zenernet was smooth like silk. The installation process with Solar Optimum was a little glitchy. After I've had a complete experience with both companies, I decided to use Zenernet once again for my third property. I have no hesitation to recommend Zenernet to anyone who wants install solar panel on their roof.

Stan was great. He gave an excellent low pressure sales presentation. I felt very comfortable to ask any questions I had. In addition, he was patient and diligent at following up with me as I manage a very busy schedule. Unfortunately, I ultimately did not sign with Zenernet because I needed some roof repairs that another solar company was able to provide at a bundle pricing discount. I would definitely recommend Stan for your solar project.

Stan was thorough but focus and not overly technical. Many options were discussed and pros and cons were addressed. All of my questions were answered and Stan anticipated follow up questions. I did quite a bit of research before our meeting but I still learned at least 3 important points that were not brought up during my previous solar company consultations.

Robert H the Sales person is fabulous!!! Super responsive and educates you about solar and your many options. Five stars for him!!! The project managers (I had three) were not as responsive. However, eventually they followed through. I had to go back to Rob H a few times to get a response from the PM's. The install went smoothly and after 9 months I am about to turn on my system. Part of the delay was my decision to get a new roof. That took 4 months so I think my install would have been sooner if not for that decision. I felt I got top of the line solar panels at a competitive price.

I am not a paying customer yet but had a very insightful consultation with their solar specialist, Brian B. I told him up front that I am shopping for solar and will not be signing anything right away yet he spent time to explain to me the benefits of solar. His presentation is easy to follow and understand. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns and mis conceptions very clearly. I feel that he answers all my questions honestly and candidly and was transparent with the timeline. I like the financing options they offer. Excellent job Brian 👍👍.

Zenernet lost a star for choosing to work with Skyline in my area. Skyline is hard to get a hold of, installed an incorrect fuse which needs to be fixed, got a part that doesn't allow my solar generation to be recorded (waiting for the correct one), and left a huge mess of all their packaging, pipes, and wires they didn't need. My solar is still not turned on (I was estimated for the end of September). It's not Zenernet. They were very accommodating and had quick response times and explained everything. I wish they would work with more reliable crews on the ground though as Skyline has proven to be subpar in my opinion.

Whenever there was an issue or I had a question, I'd give a call and they would get back to me. Installation went well. It was one of those things where it was very quick. They did exactly what I wanted and it looks really good. The panels I got are really good quality with a 25 year warranty. The inverter is great and I absolutely love the app. They kept me informed.

Here is a summary of my experience:
Strengths:
- When there was an issue with getting the right product up front (all black panels) they contacted me and we navigated compromising to a better panel with the aesthetic we did not prefer (white lines). I felt this was good to keep the install on track.
- Consultation - They were great at explaining everything up front and the benefits.
- If the system can be stable long term, we should end up saving a good amount in energy costs
Improvements:
- After install, we immediately noticed our roof starting to creak in the morning and at night. It seems to be related to thermal expansion, and occurs right above our master bedroom so can be annoying. This is something to be aware of that you might need to live with as they were unable to resolve it for me.
- Active Monitoring - This did not work for me, but my understanding is they have corrected it now so I am expecting monitoring and notifications to occur next time I have an outage. Zenernet did correct the problem.
- Responsiveness - This could do with some improvement, whether with their installers or customers. I had to do more legwork in following up on certain things. They should be careful to not overpromise. If you set an expectation deliver on it, for example, if you you say you will do something by X date, ensure you can meet that, otherwise set a date you can meet, etc.

I dealt with the owner and every question he was able to answer. We started this process in late june and July and it was done really slow. So right now we're about two months behind. The owner is very professional and very knowledgeable. Ryan, the sales person is very professional and knowledgeable. Everytime I called, he gave me a call back right away.

The founder JP Gerkins went above and beyond for being the best in customer service and kindness. Our Solar's has not yet been installed. So far everything is fine. The Zenernet team was great to work with for the majority of the process. Contracting took a bit of time but it ended up being a smooth process. Installation and permitting was great as well and super quick. The only part of the process has been challenging the final certification/completion of our solar as the team has not been as responsive and I have had to follow up quite a few times to understand if my solar is fully set up. Hoping to have that finalized by EOY. Overall I would highly recommend working with them, but expect 6+ months rather than the 3 month plan. Thanks Zenernet team!

Before the work on our new solar panels even started, one of their employees stepped on a ceiling panel while in our attic causing a 4 X 8 foot panel to fall in our living room. Asbestos and insulation was all over the living room. My wife and I cleaned up the mess but could not reconnect the ceiling panel and asbestos continued to fall. I was told that they could not anyone fix problem and it may 2 weeks before any repair people could come. I found a local company that could repair our ceiling. Zenernet found a "patch" company that patched it. The patch did not match the rest of the ceiling so they sent the patch company back to patch again. End result, I cancelled our $45,000 contract.

Getting a HELOC to finance this so may take two months to commit. I prefer the installation to happen late December as I am off work then.

I interviewed a 5 solar companies, none were as easy to do business with as the Zenernet rep I worked with. He was no pressure, knew his market and product extremely well, didn't have to go do research to answer the million questions I had and offered a more than competitive price. Can't say that for any of the "big name brands" I interviewed.
