I like working with the representative and the quality and price was very competitive. The rep came up with a plan and we discussed it, I wasn't a huge fan of the first plan so he came up with another plan. After I didn't like that one, he came up with a third plan and I really appreciated the effort he put into that.

They are a middle man, they provide a contract but no design upfront, after contract is sighed they provide a design, mine was not correct took time to get it corrected had to call JP. If you use them make sure you know what you want and have them put it in the contract, every part number and option before, don’t trust they will get it right. They play with DC and AC sizing, know what you are getting. They also tried to swap parts out and deleting the Optimization and monitoring options without letting me know about it on install. I checked all parts before they did the installed and found the issue. Had to call them out on it to get the correct options and parts, not an easy solution. They don’t provide any timelines on install, they say they monitor the system but don’t have any information on how it works or can talk about it. You have to hound them to provide project information. Be prepared to stay on top of them all the way, be prepared for no commutation. They did find me a good installer as to why 2 stars, by the way they don’t do the install, only the sale. Just go with a local installer. Save yourself the headaches

Installation timelines are difficult to predict accurately, because certain aspects (permitting, for example) are beyond our control and that of our installers, and vary by seasonality and demand. We do, however, provide an estimated timeline for installation. Finally, our model combines the advantages of working with both a national solar company and a local installer - we manage the customer relationship, warranties, etc. and the installation work is completed by a local, expert installation partner.

Installation went pretty good, we had to make a few changes. I'm still waiting for one of these accessories to be installed and I called the local contractor and Zenernet several times but they've never installed it.

I had some questions that I had trouble with and was never really answered. Installation was pretty quick. It was good. The part of the actually turning it on was confusing. I didn't get clear instructions or assistance and I'm still a little confused about doing it myself.

Talking to a couple of people from customer service, they were very good in regards to the conversations. Unfortunately, things got a little delayed. For example, I got a $500 credit on my bill because the panels that Zenernet ordered for me earlier, they didn't order the panels fast enough so we had to wait another month. I think there is a lot of people in the mix of the conversation with me and I prefer only one person. Most people were not speaking to each other so it's not a very well coordinated organization from that perspective.

This company is the real deal! When I was looking for a solar company, I went with Zenernet due to the superior quality of materials and best pricing all-around. l had a very pleasant and educational presentation on the Zenernet solar program with Tara yesterday and have to admit that it was one of the more professional and enlightening business presentations I have experienced in many years. I have a company of 42 years and I wish all of my sales individuals were as informed and helpful as Tara. I came away educated, enlightened and enthused about proceeding forward with my decision to install a solar system on my residence. I was very comforted with her acceptance of the fact that I will be entertaining other companies presentations and advise me on key items to focus on that will insure that I am comparing apples to apples and not a smoke screen of rhetoric that would cloud the important issues. I will definitely be in a better position to make a wiser decision when finalizing my choice of companies because of her input and knowledge. I am looking into solar for my ADU buildout so I reached out to Zenernet along with a couple of other solar companies. I got connected with Robert for a Solar consultation and I’m glad I did. He had a great presentation and was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. One particular question I had was about a new law regarding solar. I wanted details about this law to figure out how it would affect me. The other consultation that I got from another company wasn’t so transparent and basically said this law wouldn’t effect me because I’m an LADWP customer. Robert was willing to take the time and explain things to me which I truly appreciate. He made me feel like working with Zenernet was going to the the right path for my solar needs. Zenernet seems to be very flexible with my specific project needs and timing so I feel confident working with them.

Your Energy Consultant Rondu A was extremely helpful. He is a terrific brand ambassador for the company. I had a great many questions and he was very patient in making sure I had and understood answers to all my questions. He is knowledgeable, gracious and caring. He was very diligent in making sure I was comfortable with the process - what was involved, how he came to the calculations he provided, what the costs expectations are, the options I could make with respect to the tax credits and the costs associated with those decisions. Given the complexity surrounding a decision to go solar, his knowledge, manner and honesty were invaluable.

In the midst of hearing sales pitches from a variety of solar companies, my Zenernet sales person, Tara E, was the first person that I felt a real genuine connection with. She not only sold me on solar and Zenernet's quality of product and service over others, but she genuinely cared and asked about my well being, and was always ready to answer any questions/concerns I had in addition to going the extra miles on all my special requests in order to move forward with Zenernet.
I am just at the start point of signing my contract with Zenernet. Hoping and expecting to get the same kind of customer service and follow through as I go through the process to get solar on my home.
As a company rep, I got useful and in depth information about my solar system and learnt a lot about my usage and how my solar production will benefit me in the long run.
There are many solar companies out there going for the "fast & hard" sale. Tara was very patient and took the time to make sure I was absolutely sure before I committed into my solar system.

It was a great choice to go with Zenernet. When shopping around for solar, I asked other companies for a quote. The other companies took over a week to get back to me and then just rattled numbers over the phone with nothing in writing. Zenernet provided a detailed plan that included how many panels they could install on the roof and what their output would be.
Greg, in the sales department, was extremely honest as to what they could and couldn't provide. He was not overbearing and at no time did I feel like I was talking to a used car salesman. He actually tried to talk me into buying less than what I did (tried to talk me out of getting a battery installed though I'm glad I did).
During install, we experienced a disconnect in what the sub-contractor's plans were when compared to what we were promised. Zenernet made it right despite the extra costs they had to absorb (and remained committed to the original price they quoted us). Furthermore, they let us provide the final payment after we felt comfortable the sub-contractor was paid off (so we didn't get a lien put on our home).
I highly recommend Zenernet. They are extremely flexible and committed to work with their customers despite unexpected events that may occur.

I did not make my purchase from Zenernet but it was close. Not purchasing from Zenernet measns I cannot give my opinions on any of the categories. I couldn't give any of the opinions on the company I chose yet either.No opinions are valuable until the work has been done. Stan at Zenernet was a wonderful rep for his company, very thorough and informative.I think Zenernet is probably a good company and would be a good choice. Something else tipped the scale to another company that Zenernet couldn't compete with. It's a reason that was unique to me and unlikely to anyone else that made the other company a good choice.

Robert H. was very honest and explained everything very well - Zenernet seems like a good, authentic solar company and I really appreciate businesses like this. I really appreciate the help Robert gave me in helping me choose the right system for my house and explaining which payment plan would work best for me.
I try to do business with companies that value quality and integrity over profit and I think Zenernet is one of those comapnies. The Zenernet rep I spoke with repeatedly, Robert H., was extremely personable and knowledgeable, and he gave a very favorable impression of his company. He described its top echelons as deeply experienced solar veterans and said they don't advertise except by word of mouth and being selected on various "best" lists. He sized a system for my small house, making sure it would provide at least 130% of our current usage, and not waste money adding more. I would have signed with them right after receiving the bid, except that it turned out that I really wanted a company that could replace the roof and install the solar, and Zenernet does strictly solar. This company seemed efficient, honest and interested in building their business by providing excellent service. I would recommend checking them out before you buy from someone else.

I couldn't be happier with how I was treated by Ian P. of the Zenernet Energy Consultant Team. He was extremely responsive and very pro-active on communicating with me from the very first call. I wish I could find some criticism to help him better himself in his career, but I honestly can't think of anything that he could have done differently or better for us. I had some difficult moments deciding which system to buy that I'm not sure any other Energy Consultant would have had the patience to deal with me on these issues and walk me through them as methodical and calm as he did. I wasn't entirely sure what the process would entail and how much work it would take, but Ian was VERY informative and you could tell right off the bat that he knew his career and had my best interests in mind. I was very confident using him and have already recommended him to several of our friends and will continue to do so. We don't think Zenernet Team could have a better Energy Consultant out there representing them.

I was just calling around getting quotes for solar energy for my home and decided to call Zenernet. I called the 800 number and started speaking to Rob. I told Rob I had just signed a contract and have seven days to terminate the contract for whatever reason. After speaking with Rob in our video chat, I can honestly say that Rob is the reason why I'm terminating my contract with the other solar company. I really appreciate Rob's knowledge, kindness, and honesty. He told me about a better product, better price, better interest rate and and a shorter loan duration. Please disregard my earlier Two Star rating for it was, as promised at that time, my first-month-contact with Zenernet. As I promised also in that post, I would provide periodic updates as my solar system project moves forward.
So, why the change in the star rating? JP, the CEO and owner of Zenernet, reached out to me and robustly addressed all the issues in the past post. Further, and importantly, they have given me weekly digital updates which usually pertain to common concerns for all solar panel customers who are in media res. This is great for customers! What is even greater is that Bill, the Project Coordinator for my project, weekly contacts me via the phone about the current status of my project. Through this communication, I have been able to get all the information I needed. Impressively, Bill has also sent relevant PDFs etc., even before our phone call ends. Also, JP has more than once reached out to me, and the conversations I have with him, as well as Bill, have been productive, friendly, and useful.
In brief, Zenernet has impressed me and I expect they will continue to build trust with me and their other customers as well as provide what is needed to inform and update us. Thank you JP, Bill and Michael for all that you are doing for me.

Online inquiry and fast follow-up by Zenernet by phone and email to answer my questions, design and propose a solution. Very professional and impressive responsiveness. My interaction with Ms. Jamila T was informative, reassuring and pleasant - she didn't waste my time but was friendly and cheerful. She efficiently addressed all my questions with specific answers. As an engineer and a direct line sales professional of 35+ years, I quickly noted that Jamila actually listened to me to understand my questions, concerns and objections, rather than just data-gathering and "it's just a job" script-reading. Mike M has been stellar in this process of "going solar" at our new home. After looking up and researching a number of companies, and entering my info at a few, I found the best outreach, communication, and respect for my time was without a doubt, was Mike's approach. All the others rifle dialed for a couple days......same numbers calling once an hour all day long. That is not my style. Mike reached out based in my web inquiry, kindly requested time to schedule a consultation, it was easily added to my calendar, and at no point in that process was there any hard sell. The consultation itself was amazing, he was able to identify based on my power bill and other factors I shared, what the best design, products, placement strategy.....now that was cool.....measuring how the sun hits our roof throughout the year with some pretty neat tools. We had a lot in common, so the conversation during the consultation was really mellow and still there was no hard sell (as you can probably tell, I dislike the pressure sales tactics of others), and we ended at just about an hour. It was time spent exceptionally well. At the conclusion, I had a proposal emailed to me, every piece of information I needed to make the decision, and felt like I had all my questions answered and learned a ton. We are going to have a follow up (which was also gently scheduled and arranged...no hard sell) call so that my wife can ask some questions, and we will most likely be moving forward with Zenernet.....and I would say the it is 100% the manner in which Mike handled the process. I'm sure solutions from other companies might come close, may be exactly the same, but the process of educating and on-boarding a potential new client....I have never had an experience like this before. Thank you Mike, look forward to chatting more, and locking in our Move to Solar!! If you want to be harassed and pressured and annoyed.....go with the other guys. If you want to feel comfortable, educated, and confident in your Solar decision.....Zenernet's sales strategy is the best. And Mike made it all happen seamlessly. Thank you!!

I chose Zenernet for many reasons after interviewing and meeting with multiple local companies. The sales process was easy, low pressure and very informative. Dealing with Heather M was a delight; she has a great attitude, is knowledgeable and she was always available to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot). The system she built for me was not only more competitive in price than any other solar company I spoke with, but was more powerful as well. The panels are highly rated online and the installer they used in my area was 5 stars on yelp (I concur w the ratings. Very professional and highly skilled and competent; installation was two days and everything went smoothly). I was kept informed during the entire process by Heather who actually ended up getting promoted (fortunately for me) during the time that my solar was installed. The process of getting the solar inspected and setting up PTO was seemless. The panels are up and running and I’m cranking out nice amounts of energy even on cloudier days. I am very happy I decided to go with Zenernet and I would recommend them without reservation.

Although initially i found it odd dealing with an out of state solar company for my future solar needs it soon became apparent that I made the right decision. Dealing with Greg from sales was an absolute pleasure. His calm demeanor and explanation of the process with his presentation made the process understandable. Greg, the company manager and the production team were all very helpful and attentive to my needs. I had a bit of a glitch with commumication in the scheduling phase, but the company owner stepped in and sorted things out. He understood the importance of proper communication the relationship between the customer and his company. And for that I was appreciative. Despite that, I highly recommend Zenernet for anyones solar needs.

From the time we worked with Heather M and the time she took with us explaining the basics of solar installations to rearranged the design to improve the street view of our house to David C , to whom I have to give the highest praise. When our installation date was offered in January, I explained to David that we were guaranteed installation by the end of the year. If he could not fulfill that commitment, I would cancel the project. He worked tirelessly with the installation crew and had the installation completed in one day well before the end of the year. It was primarily through his efforts that both Zenernet and we happily have our solar project completed.

My installation is still in the process, however, I'd like to express appreciation for Mike's professionalism and transparency as he detailed what I could expect solar panels to provide, the costs, and project process.
As a consultant, Mike let me decide what was best for my situation and I felt "no pressure" to commit to Zenernet. He didn't speak negatively of the other (3) companies I had contacted prior to calling Zenernet. Mike worked within my budget, while still giving me the optimal panel design tailor-made for my goals. He even sent me an article from the New York Times on appraising solar energy value for future home sale. Mike has excellent customer relation skills and gave timely follow-up with email, texts, and phone calls. I am impressed with the company 25 year warranty, the design of their panels, and the referral incentive is a plus! So far the process has gone pretty quickly and I hope to have them installed soon. ~April F.

I recently contacted Zenernet and spoke to Greg about acquiring solar panels with possibly battery back up for one of our homes. In my personal opinion, Greg is the best solar representative I've ever spoken to. Greg is informative and knowledgeable with ALL of my questions on both solar panels and battery back up. I have spoken to 4 other solar companies and have never received an honest/true answer about battery back up or its purpose. Greg listened to my questions and answered each one of them calmly and quickly. I look forward to receiving his proposal and am now curious to find out which finance company Zenernet uses, because I'm already pre-approved with 2 other.

EDIT: The CEO reached out to me about my review, and set me up with Greg, who was significantly more helpful. Ultimately, I didn't qualify for financing, but this dedication to fixing a bad experience is what bumped my review up.
My first communication with Kyle M was very reassuring. He was friendly and helpful. As I called on a Friday, he said he'd follow up with me on Monday to check out my options.
I hadn't heard back from him that Monday, so I decided to followup on that Thursday to make sure to keep the ball rolling.
I received a response from Kyle the following day stating that the person he had been talking to at my electricity provider had been out sick, and he was looking through their documentation for limitations, and scheduled a call with me that afternoon. He never made that call. This was one week after initial contact.
Five days later, I emailed to followup and try to get us back on track, giving them the benefit of the doubt considering their exceptional reviews on this site. No response.
Another five days later, I emailed again, informing them that I would go elsewhere if I don't receive a response. Still no response.
So here we are, 20 days after initial contact on what should have been an easy sale, and I get an email from bestcompany.com asking me to review this company. I'm sure they have some happy customers, but if any of their sales reps are like Kyle here, I wonder how many more customers they COULD have considering how my experience suggests he just ghosts potential customers.

If my rating of Zenernet is directly related to my conversation with Deanna S, then you did not provide enough stars.
All my questions were answered cleanly and clearly, if she didn't know something, she didn't make up some lame excuse or try to convince me otherwise. I learned more about Solar today than in any previous conversation with other company representatives.
I immensely enjoyed watching the "connected" computer screen proposal and configuration of panels for my property.
This gave me a chance to ask more questions and feel comfortable about my, ( or reccomended ) choices.

Zenernet was highly professional throughout the sales process. I am a tough customer in the sense that I take my time and have many questions so I can fully understand before I decide to buy. I had multiple discussions with Greg (my salesperson) asking complex, challenging questions, many of which to understand the different systems, buying options, incentives, contract terms and installation implications. Greg was knowledgeable, patient, engaged and responsive and a key reason for my final decision. We chose Zenernet against multiple competitors and couldn't be happier with our decision. At this point, I'm very impressed and look forward to getting my system installed. I would definitely recommend Zenernet.

I had my initial and follow up meeting with Greg L from Zenernet. Greg did a great job of walking me through their product as well as the type and size of system they thought I needed. I still have a few more solar providers to talk to at this point but was impressed with my initial meeting. Greg was very transparent in the assumptions of energy costs going forward that they factored into their proposal and even worked with me to modify those assumptions based upon my specific energy provider.. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism. Still on the fence whether this makes sense for me yet.

I just agreed to proceed with Zenernet after I did a lot of research over an extended period of time and received a number of proposals for a project to install solar panels on my 100+ year old house, upgrade my electrical service, install an EV charger and put on a new roof. I chose Zenernet because they were very patient answering all my questions, are very transparent about their process, and connected me with the local installer who will do the work (who also recommended a local roofer) , which provided me the confidence that I needed to proceed with the quality work I hope will ensue. And their cost estimate is very competitive. Greg L, the salesperson is very nice, follows up on everything, and is persistent but not pushy. I will provide another review once the project is done as we both have a lot invested in making sure that the project goes well.

I have been interested in getting solar panels for a couple of years. We are in the process of moving into our new home and decided to look into purchasing them to help control costs. My inquiry to get more details was handled by Deanna. I asked a lot of questions about the equipment, installation process, service and cost with options for financing. She went through all the different aspects for making my decision with out putting any pressure to commit to any sale. She put all the details in writing along with the information that we discussed so that I could review. We talked for about 2 hours. I haven't made a commitment as we want to complete the sale of our old house first.
I enjoyed conversing with someone that was informative and patient answering my questions.

I spoke with Mark a little while ago & my first reaction was to tell him that we don’t want/need Solar! Especially since we get pitched on it so often...
But once we started talking, he showed me that it’s not as complicated as it seems, it’s actually a really simple process that I now believe everyone should take advantage of!
He really walked me through the process to make sure that it was the right fit first, before even offering a ‘deal’ & went into details that most other “sales reps” didn’t or that some companies might try to dust under the rug or hide in a contract
Every person that I’ve talked to from the very start has gone to whatever length necessary to ensure that we’re clear on the step & most importantly that the job is done right!
There’s obviously a lot of things that Zenernet does differently from the other solar options that are out there, which is why I’m even taking the time to write this review & also why I’ve already referred my family and a few neighbors!
So I just wanted to take a second to say Thank You to Mark & the rest of the Zenernet team!
From my point of view, you guys are miles ahead of all the other fly by night companies out here
