Rare to have service interruptions. Very friendly customer service from service staff and phone representatives. Expensive cable TV. Don’t be late with a payment they are quick to add late fee even when slow mail caused the payment to be late. Internet speed is awesome.

what i like best about spectrum is that have great customer service representatives when ever i need to call they are always very helpful and insightful what i like the least is that they do not offer more programs for lower rate or free internet for low income senior citizens.

Compared to past providers I've used service is a plus, but recently, I have to say, service has been not only disappointing but aggravating as well. Issues like constant interruption of service due to the same technical issue , every so often increase in cost ,just Wi-Fi is $80 month. On the upside response time for sending maintenance techs are fairly quick . As a long-term client I don't feel appreciated for my continued business.

Spectrum has been amazing for internet and streaming TV service. The cell service runs on Verizon so the overall service is great. It can be challenging to get straight answers from customer service though as sometimes their communication contradicts itself.

We had just recently purchased a home & was looking for a provider. We started off with ATT as ATT has been a staple in household & my family since the 80s. (I know Im old) lol! Anyhoo, when we lived in GA we were looking for internet speed of at least 1gb (Fiber) but the most ATT had in our new home area was 50mbs. So regretably we had to jump ship....So far no issues with the internet & tv itself but the agent who signed us up...lied tp us about the discounts we would receive & the monthly price...After numerous calls to customer service I finally got a few things taken care of but still a few things left unresolved...Not happy at all about that...Would could have been a 5star review is at 2 because I DONT LIKE TO BE LIED TOO!

I've been using Spectrum for my internet for several years. It's been very reliable. If you have problems, they have good technical support. They have several different plans, so you can get the speed you want without paying for faster speeds.

I have had Spectrum or it's previous names since I moved to Florida 15 years ago. The price goes up every year, and there are so many hidden cost. At one time you could get a reduction in price for a limited time, but now all you get is rude comments. My Spectrum bill is higher than my electric bill, and I live in Florida! It ridiculous that a senior citizen has to pay so much, just to have cable and internet, and I don't have any premium channels either.

I only had internet through them so they made the bill reasonably low and affordable at first, after the first year our bill began to rise more and more every couple of months and they assured us we were locked in at a certain price because we are low income and live on a fixed budget. We tried to get the internet that was under$20 a month that's offered to fixed income low budget customers. We met the criteria but they said it wasn't available In our particular area, the trick is, it's only available in certain zip codes, which probably isn't many at all. We now owe a Bill to this company for 2 months of service which comes to almost$300 when we started out paying $55 per month . They lied and mislead us on prices and fees so I do not recommend this company unless you have a comfortable income and can afford whatever fees etc. They throw at you and it won't affect paying for essential things you have to have.

Internet is great ever since a service man updated our equipment. The cable got to be too expensive to justify what we were getting. I don't enjoy the price going up every year. Typically customers get more discounts the longer they are with a company.

As a long time customer that has ripped off many times over the years. They charge for services not provided and will not adjust the bill when the over charges are discovered. Escalation to executives doesn't help. They are not customer service orientated. They have to be sued to get adjustment. Search law suits. Best find order internet providers or be ready to be ripped off.

I'm a current customer because I can't get another provider in my area because they've monopolized it. They're way over priced, I'm paying over $250 a month! When I call them to downgrade my services I always get one excuse after another why I can't. Their service itself is good. I've only dealt with a few outages over the years. All in all I don't recommend them because of getting stuck in one of their overpriced deals

They make you think you’ll pay $49.99/mo for Internet but neglect to tell you that price is only valid for 12 months before you get a huge increase in your bill. They hide the bill on the website and then on 4 of a 6 page invoice (really, 6 pgs?) have in small writing indicating that it will end as a CYA. They know this is an issue, as the customer service representatives said they get this type of calls all the time. Internet is fine, but it has gone out on me quite a few times as a Spectrum issue.

I have been with Spectrum for at least 5 years. They have been raising the internet rates over the years. I paid for the internet service for the full month from Dec 22-Jan 21. I cancelled the service on Jan 9. Spectrum refused to refund the prorated premium, AND Spectrum cut off my service on Jan 9. They cannot have it both ways. This is unfair business. They should either refund the prorated premium OR allow the service to continue until the end of the billing cycle.

Charter Spectrum has taken advantage of their local monopoly of broadband internet services to overcharge customers while throttling back on speeds. This ISP corporation like just about all of the others has an enemy of Net Neutrality, as it wants to divide the internet into fast and slow lanes and then charge more for the fast lanes while throttling the slow lanes further.

I purchased a google Wi-Fi router the one supplied would on a good day give 30% of the stated speed. It would lock up once or twice a day. The modem freezes about every other day. When I called Spectrum and finally got a human. I was put on hold to transfer to tech support after 5 minutes on hold I was disconnected. This happened on 3 separate days

My apartment only allows Spectrum. I switched to Spectrum. Iv had Spectrum for the past 7 months I have had nothing but problems. My wifi has gone out 4 times for 5 to 7 days each time. I lived at another appartment prior to this for 2 years and had ATT and never had any issues with service or customer support. Each time Iv called "Spectrum" I have never talked to a human. I have talked to a machine every. Single. Time. Personally I recommend that you DO NOT CHOSE these crooks. They seems to not care about you and only care to a whole as Spectrum... I rate Spectrum 1 out of 5 easily.

Spectrum sucks! I called to get internet service from them, because they are the only provider in my neighborhood, and it was like I was talking to a car dealership. There are all these hidden fees and charges that will hit you. Also never get the "free" modem from them it just a way for them to throttle you internet. This company is down right shady.

We canceled 2 days after the $180 charge and found they do not prorate. Seriously! That alone is just tacky. Spectrum charged $180 for the same services as AT&T, who only charges $115. Stupid me for thinking the speed would make enough difference to offset the inflated charges. The remote is a disaster, so if you like football, you will HATE the Spectrum remote. You will lose the ability to skip forward or go backwards a few seconds. And, if you do not have the coax cables in your house, they will need to come out and it will cost you more than you want to pay.

Spectrum is the worst company ever. Everyone there is incompetent. I’m moving but said leave my old service on through 4/27. I said turn on my new service 4/11/2019. Then they mailed the box to the new house prior to us getting possession. Then I said I send a technician I will pay the $40. They charged me and never sent someone. Then I called and their services continently were down and they couldn’t help fix their mistake.

Spectrum for internet speed is slow and poor connection has been going on for past a couple years and I contact them for credit for the poor service most of the time they will refuse or they'll make it difficult for them to listen to me or even they promise to give credit for their poor service but later on they never apply credit. few occasions that apply but only 1 or 2 dollars here and there and they keep raising their price. they are monopoly. we need to take them accountable for their deeds! Thanks.

If there was an opting to leave NO stars i would. I despise spectrum internet. I went from a 65mps throught another company to 100mps through spectrum. I am highly regreting that decision. The internet does stay connected despite several visits from the techicians. You cannot run multiple devices. You cannot watch a 30min tv show with out dropping connection every 5 minutes. And if you want to talk about gaming. 😲😂 what a joke. I cannot wait to get this months bill so i can shut this garbage off and go back to my 65mps from frontier. Spectrum is GARBAGE.

Took 2 months to do a drop bury and numerous phone calls with numerous supervisors to get a drop bury done. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A VERY POOR BURIAL DEPARTMENT. Very disappointed with how i have been treated during this time. They won't admit fault and they tell me they wont give me somekind of compensation for my time of waiting and delaying my home remodel. So with this I say this company has poor customer service and poor company values. They will drag you along and wont help you when its done. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY NOT YOU. They are THE WORST!! It takes forever to reach anyone over the phone, then they pass you back and forth for hours, they don't comply with federal regulations stipulated by the FCC Cable Act and they really don't care, either. They have a monopoly on the market so they do whatever they want. They were overcharging me and it took me MONTHS to get it fixed. I had to go to the attorney general and BBB, which pissed Spectrum off so they began harassing me every day and being abusive!! It's just bad bad bad BAD. Wish I had other options.

I rated it low because of the cost of this internet service. As a senior on a very very fixed income, they would not budge on what I have to pay. My bill goes up every year, this year it was $20.00/mo. Times that by 12 months, and I get nothing more for the huge increase. Shame on them.

They are more interested in money than providing reliable service. After a power failure my service did not activate when power was restored. I was told that only if I returned 1400 miles from my seasonal home to provide access to the inoperative equipment could my service be repaired. In the interim I was given the option of continuing to pay or close my account. I decided to close my account. I was told I could return their equipment when I returned. Less than a month later I received a large bill for their equipment, even though I had been a subscriber for over 15 years .

Usually pretty good, but when problems arise they tend to always think it's YOUR problem: your computer; your router; your wiring; your operating system; your browser; your email client. and so on.
