United is terrible! Our vacation to Costa Rica with connecting flights on United resulted in LONG days at many airports. Every flight except one ran a couple hours late and they did not valid reason, other than just saying we were delayed because planes were taking off late other places. Their planning is terrible. The planes are also not that nice and their is really no good reason to fly United.

Very rarely have I flown with United when there hadn’t been some kind of problem. While I know flying anywhere invites delays, etc, it is all in how it is handled by the customer service representatives. And they do not score highly with me. No empathy, rude and uncaring!

seating is too narrow, not comfortable for people with long legs. feels like someone is sitting on your lap. other than that easy to book flight, sometimes i can find good deals.

I'm not too impressed with the way they are trying to lure you in to buying their plane tickets with a cheaper price, but it doesn't include a carry on bag. That is in addition to the cheaper priced ticket. So in the long run their flight prices are the same as other airlines.

I was a United Mileage Plus member for several years and 6 times out of 7 in one year, they stranded me overnight. I fly from Maine to the West Coast several times a year and I got tired of not reaching my destination until the next day so I switched to another airline who has not stranded me overnight once. I've been delayed, but not until the next day, like with United. Chicago is the weak link. Whenever I connect in Chicago, I usually miss the connecting flight.

We have had several occassions to fly on United and it has become an increasingly unpleasant experience. The flights are overbooked, often cancelled, and the staff unhelpful. We have had luggage issues and broken planes more often than not. I don't recommend United if you have another choice of carrier.

They put me in the very rear of the plane and I am disabled and could not get into the seat and was taken off the plane. The flight personal are very rude and do not know how to be polite...
