It was a fine airline. Everyone was polite and organized. We left on time the last time we flew and we arrived safely, which is really all that matters. There isn't anything bad about Southwest, but there isn't much special about it either. I would like to pick my own seat though.

I really like Southwest. I like their focus on taking care of their customers and their desire to work with you as the customer to make the best experience possible. Sometimes it's a little difficult because they aren't the cheapest flight so it's hard to select them all the time.

Southwest has the BEST options for baggage and cancellation!! You do not have to pay for your luggage, and you do not have change fees if you have to cancel. I am always pleased when I get to fly Southwest!

Hi, I travel usually with a backpack and a carry on. I asked for help from a flight attendant to help me put the carry on in the bin above. She looked at me and said mam you can check it in. I then said forget it. And I had many passengers got up to help me. Unfortunately I'm short. Like really short and I can't really teach the bins. If the carry on was too heavy I understand, but she didn't even ask. She just assumed. I am more concerned with passengers safety. I don't want to have myself alone to do it but I just needed a hand and she seemed reluctant to help. I found this a little disturbing. Thanks for contacting me.

Of all the airlines I have flown I find Southwest to be the best. The staff is friendly and helpful, their policies reasonable, and the planes themselves are nice to fly in. Southwest is among the best in my humble opinion

My only real complaint about Southwest is that they do not assign seats. I will fly it if I have to or if the flight times work out better for my travel schedule, but if I have the option I will always chose an airline that offers assigned seating. Traveling is stressful enough. I don't want to have to worry about not being able to have a comfortable seating arrangement on top of everything else.

Southwest is usually my airline of choice. They generally have lower prices, good customer service on the flight and online, reliable flights, and no baggage fees. In fact, I've booked 7 different flights with them June - September of this year. That says a lot right there.

I've ridden SouthWest many times, mostly to California. I really like the cheap prices, and their pilots definitely give a smooth ride. I am a taller man, and sometimes it feels like I'm doing yoga trying to fit into the seats I am given. I try to go for the seats over the wings as they seem to have more space for the emergency exits. The snacks could be better, but it's not bad. Overall, it is not a bad experience especially for the cost.

Thought everything as A-1 except baggage handlers in Birmingham, Al. where we live. They were taking bags and slinging them onto conveyor very hard, not just our bags but everyone's and they didn't seem to care we were watching them do it. The flight attendants both ways were awesome and very friendly, Very professional at Orlando Airport also.

I love SWA and have had great experiences with them. I am very disappointed that SWA has announced that they will no longer offer non stop flights from CAK to all Florida destinations and now we will have to go through ATL. Unfortunately, I refuse to go through ATL, so I will have to find another airline. So sad, because I loved SWA!!!

I recently had a 4 hour SW delay but saw United was still leaving at same time. I inquired of a non-busy SW gate desk if I could be reimbursed for a partial trip, that I wanted to rebook the 2nd leg of my flight. The girls said yes so I booked on Untied and walaa, once they looked at my actual ticket then they realized what I had been asking and said a refund was impossible. This is AFTER I booked on United. They admitted to their mistake, handed me a $200 voucher and said good luck on United. Wow. Thank you SW for your integrity. It matters.

We flew Southwest on 10/22/15 and again on 10/27/15. The only complaint I have is how far out the airport puts your gates we did an incredible amount of walking. That is where the airport puts you so the customers don't get a chance to talk to other carriers customers about what a good idea Southwest is.

I fly from PDX/Portland, Oregon to Burbank Ca. a few times a year. I have always had a good experience. It amazes me how travelers can be so rude to staff. Expectations so unreal. I find the staff to be professional, friendly and funny. Can't get better than that. As for me I'll take Southwest any time!

I recently a phone Southwest air from Fort Lauderdale to Providence Rhode Island Nonstop What a Great Flight smooth left on time from Fort Lauderdale arrived early. This was the first time I've flown with the female pilot and tell you it was a great flight And she did great job.

Last year Our flight had a problem in El paso, We were more than compensated for the inconvenience, It was only 5 hours, but We got flight vouchers and a meal ticket. The seats on the planes are more comfortable also . i will fly SW when ever possible, i wish They went to all cities.

Southwest is advertising fares for $49. with a coupon..Problem is unable to obtain coupon..I have been trying all afternoon without ever obtaining the coupon..Why can't you just advertise the price without the coupon..Why the run around?? We enjoy flying Southwest but do not like this problem..

On time flights seem to have slipped over the past year, however they are a reliable low cost carrier. Seats are tight. Always try to get the emergency exit row for some additional leg room. I have never been a fan of their open boarding process, but it seems to work for them. They have always been accommodating when having to make a change to a previously booked flight. Onboard flight attendants and pilots all very professional.

Went from MSY to PHX via Vegas. Though crowded and I have an injured knee, the flight crew made the trip a good one. Twins, Pam and Peggi were great on flight to Vegas. A female flight attendant knew the college hat I had on. It was just a mascot so that was impressive. All around, I would recommend SWA and will fly with ya'll again.

I have flown many times with Southwest, last time just this last July. Have never had a bad experience, the staff and flight attendants are all very professional and helpful. This last July I had several attendants on my flights - during the initial safety checks - had some very humerous tidbits and it was very enjoyable.

Typically I have no complaints on my Southwest flights. This past trip, I had a flight attendant yell at me for smaller bag that was in the overhead compartment. It wasn't mine and I thought he could have at least apologized. He didn't even try to find out whose it was. Maybe he thought I was lying.

But in all very pleasant and I would fly Southwest again . The plus side also 2 free luggage that was a bonus.....

We fly a couple times a year and always fine SW to have the best value when you consider 2 bags fly with you free. We also get "Pre-Screen" over half the time without additonal fees. This is great. We have mainly had ontime. Only a couple times we had 10-30 minutes late starts.

Great service, as always....small delay leaving San Diego, as there was lightening hitting all around the airport. Good enough reason for me! Southwest is the best way to fly to and from Tucson to San Diego.
