For a cheaper airline, Southwest actually does pretty well. Better than many of the other discount alternatives. I feel like they don't nickel and dime you the way the others do, and actually treat you like a valued customer. They're not fancy, but they are affordable and a pretty decent alternative.

i love southwest! they allow a decent amount of luggage, you get to pick your seat, the pricing is very reasonable, and the flight staff is always very kind and accountable. definitely recommend!

Southwest was so kind when I boarded the airplane with my mom and 2 brothers. We flew to Washington for a cruise, and the flight was a nice one. I slept well for the majority of the trip, and was very content with my flight.

I recently flew with Southwest Airlines over the summer. Although the price is right, the plane was gross and I was near people who had no control over screaming children and diaper mishaps. The flight attendants were not nice, but overall the price for service was good enough for me to fly with southwest again.

The customer service I have received on flights have always been delightful. The stewards are always kind to children who fly alone, and they give complimentary refreshments. My flights have always been comfortable.

Great value when you can get the tickets early enough. They charge by the leg, not round trip so it can be a little harder to compare while booking tickets. Employees at the airport and flight attendants are always friendly and helpful. I like that they don't charge extra for checked luggage.

I usually fly Southwest because of the rewards program - mainly the bonus points you can get with the Southwest credit card. I do think it is a bit of a hassle that you have to worry about checking in early to get a good seat. But I would rather do that than pay a higher price on another airline.

i fly Southwest to california a lot because its cheap. no stops. easy to book. free baggage and carry on which is a plus for me. i like how you can check in 24 hrs before take off and you can choose your seat.

Southwest always has great deals for their commercial flights. I love that there are 2 free checked bags, it makes traveling so much easier. I do wish they made it easier to travel with an infant and made it clear HOW to travel with an infant (what documentation needed etc.)

I like how I can check bags for free and how typically I can get cheaper flights than other airlines. I wish I could reserve a seat though as at times I have to sit separate from friends and family due to seats close-together being unavailable.

I've always enjoyed flying with southwest. The flights are reasonably priced for the most part and the flight service is great. However, I debate to get a card that gets sky miles with Southwest because of the limited destinations they fly to.

At the time we flew with Southwest it was great. I liked that we had our choice to choose our seats and we didn't have to pay for carry on luggage. My understanding now is thatyou have to pay for everything. I will be taking a closer look in to this before I book with them in the future.

My husband and I use Southwest Airlines all the time. We love it because we get 2 free bags each and they fly to the places we like to go. They have great customer service and they have good sales several times a year.

I flew with southwest a couple months ago, and it was a great experience! The plane was clean and in good condition, the staff was kind and attentive, and it was all pretty inexpensive! Definitely reccomend!

I really like Southwest. I would say it's my preferred airline. I really appreciate that bags fly free. I know that some people don't like not having assigned seats, but I like it because I usually buy my tickets later and as long as I check in on time, I'm able to get a good seat.

I had a crying 3 year old on the plane and the flight attendant was so nice and gave my baby boy as many pretzel bags as he could eat! They were patient with my boy and with me and helped find a solution to stop his crying! I’ll always remember the kindness from the flight attendant!
