Southwest is a great budget airline. I also love that you can check bags for free. It gets so expensive checking bags with other airlines. The planes aren’t quite as nice and you don’t have assigned seat but those are the only downfalls of Southwest.

Have flown SW multiple times both positive and negative experiences. Positives are that it is at an airport close to my home, and customer service tries to compensate for issues. Cons: mis informed about prices from a rep and compensation was low on 2 accounts when flights were canceled.

I like that southwest is an airline budget with a little flair. Although some people hate the "free for all" boarding, I don't mind that. I've had pretty great customer service every time I've flown, but can tell the planes and accomodations are a little out of touch. I never question one of their flights and know they're usually quite reliable.

Not a fan of having to book directly on their website, and quite honestly, their prices don't seem as competitive as they once were, however, I still enjoy flying with them. Good customer service, and first-come, first-serve seats isn't a bad way to board.

I’d prefer if they had set seating. It’s challenging when you’re ready to fly and are coordinating with the family on the house to sit. In addition I wish they did more round trip cost versus getting on and seeing how much a one-way ticket is

When you think Southwest you think cheap airfare. The truth however is they are competitive compared to others unless you catch a sale or promo. We did that on our last trip to San Diego and because it was so cheap we took the whole family and loved it. I also think their rewards program is one of the better programs compared to other airlines.

The best part of Southwest is the free bags! I hate finding a great deal on a flight and then realizing that I need to drop a bunch of money just to bring the basic suitcase. Their cancellation policy is the most decent one I've come across. The one thing I don't like is not being able to select your seat.

I hate not having an assigned seat, but I love that I can still take two bags for free. The nickle and diming in this industry is frustrating and Southwest doesn't seem to be as involved as other airlines are. I'll keep using them even though I don't have a seat until I get there.

I love that Southwest allows two check on bags for free. We do a lot of International Flights out of Los Angeles so we use Southwest all the time to get there. My only complaint would be that I do like having assigned seats.

I love Southwest Airlines because I get free baggage. But my issue recently with them has been the absence of in-seat entertainment systems on the flights. I can often find a ticket on an alternative airline that has the in-flight entertainment and its usually cheaper. Sometimes their prices are too much to warrant the benefit of free baggage.

Southwest is a comfortable, easy, reliable way to fly for a relatively good price. I usually fly with Delta, but Southwest is sometimes cheaper with close the same quality. I once had to cancel a flight last minute and the let my convert it to points for another flight. Loved that!

Southwest is one of the low cost airlines I fly out of Salt Lake City. They are dependable and have only had to wait for my flight a few times but it has never been cancelled or delayed more than an hour. If I'm not sure about the flight plans I usually book through Southwest because I can use that credit on another flight if I change my mind.

I have flown Southwest Airlines multiple times for work trips. I do normally find good prices with Southwest. Also the service has been good when I have flown with them. The thing that I don't really like is the flights I normally need are always at least 1 stop and I would rather just fly direct.
