Great quality! Might be a little more expensive than some television options available, but having reliable, high quality television at all times reduces so much stress

I have had Direct TV for almost 15 years now and have had good service. They are easy to work with when moving (have had to move multiple times) and are responsive when you have issues. I also love the sports options.

Had DirectTV for years and found the service acceptable and reliable. Even when we lived remotely and had an occasional problem, it wouldn't be very long before help arrived. That was appreciated.

DirectTV is one of the most robust TV satellite on my list and dish channels are not normally as reliable as cable channels. It has many added bonuses with a lot lower type of plans compared to FIOS and Xfinity.

I have not had any negative interactions with company. They currently my service provider since January 2020. The quality of the service is not great but doable. You must internet to watch previous shows which utilizes more of your internet. They also do not have a vast selection of movies on demand.

Love the selection of channels directv has. I think they need to make another package where you can select up to 20 channels excluding premium channels for a lower price.

Good service when it's working well. HAve run into too many idiosyncrasies in the past 3 years with them to be able to review them very positively. Has gotten a little better this year.

I love the service but the prices are unmanageable and only continue to increase. They show no benefit for being a loyal customer. We love Season Ticket for football and I wish that they would offer this without having a full directv package as we would definitely do that.

I had this service about 5 years. Every now and again I'd get frustrated with the raise in price, so I'd call in and get a short-term discount. But when that discount ran out, my bill went up higher than it was before. I tried cutting out programs, but they require certain programming in order to have DVR (at the time, a few years ago).

I signed up with one of their promotional offers and really enjoyed the service. The problem was when the renewal came up. The price jumped significantly. I went to cancel and they offered me all kinds of discounts but when the bill came it was not what they said so I cancelled. Direct Tv is good but not worth the price and the hassle.

Directv used to be my favorite delivery system to watch and enjoy television; but they have gone downhill since AT&T acquired them. The customer service is there to answer calls but not help the customer. The service is EXPENSIVE for what you get. I finally joined the millions of other people cutting the cord and purchased a ROKU, which has been fantastic and free after buying the equipment on Amazon.

Direct tv still requires a contract. I think they're to expensive and have way too much fine print. They're prices are misleading, especially if you can't or don't read the fine print.

At first, the service was great, but when my 2 years contract were over, they did not do a follow up to keep me as their customer, and, the price jumped very high. Therefore, I called the loyalty program asking to adjust my bill because it was very high. They did decrease it a bit, but at the same time, they took away many channels from my original programming. The fact of the matter is that they did a horrible follow up work. Any new customer who commit for 2 years is given a better treatment, but once they got the customer, the good service stops. I am ready to switch out and maybe use Dish Network.

DirectTV service technicians are good but when calling to try to get answers regarding installation times, charges, bills, etc. , the service is very bad. I was put on hold at least 5 times and directed to several customer service agents and no one seemed to be able to help or even try to understand the issue. In some cases there seemed to be a language barrier. Also some of the confusion is between AT&T and DirectTV customer service. Very confusing and frustrating.

We used to have DirectTV, but were priced out of their service. They also didn't offer RedZone which is essential for football season at our house. We were not impressed with their customer service, they don't seem to care if your having problems or not. We don't feel that what they offer is worth the price that we paid.

Direct TV is a decent satellite TV service that offers some good features like DVR recording and a variety of channels, but it's kind of outdated in the age of video streaming. The price isn't super cheap, and you still have to deal with frequent commercials, so I would personally recommend trying a streaming service instead of Direct TV.

Poor reception has always been an issue with DirecTV. Recently the box in the bedroom and living room were synced so you couldn't watch separate channels in each room. During snow storms we always had an issue with bad reception and having to go outside to scrape off.

I honestly hate DirectTV. Ever since they were purchased by AT&T there policies and procedures for customer service are the absolute WORST! And they weren’t great to begin with. If there was any other reasonable way to have access to ESPN where we live I would absolutely refuse their services. It makes me nuts that I give this company a ridiculous amount of money every month for garbage programming and terrible customer service.

The DirecTV service worked well for us for several years and we liked the up-time and consistency of the service. We eventually cancelled the service because of cost. Like many other companies, DirecTV will increase your rates the longer you are a customer which is the opposite of what one would think they should do for loyal customers. If you call the cancel service, they will offer you the rate of brand new customers, but that got old... year after year.

When we moved, DirecTV promised that we could maintain our current rate for 24 months. The bill literally doubled. They said that they had no record of the communication and refused to honor it. Further, they stated that it was $150 to move. We were charged $200. The previous statement was argued again. Further, they continue to charge us an additonal $7/month for a box that we are not even using. We don't have that many TVs in our home. Finally, we were told again and again that they will do absolutely nothing to work with us. We may pay the $770 cancellation fee and find another provider. This is the WORST company. DO NOT CHOOSE THEM.
