Good product, however if you change anything about your service contract, like move. They re-set your total contract back to day one. I think ALL the fee's and taxes they charge are way to high, read your billing statement

Their service is nice when you live in areas with no cable the billing goes from affordable to astronomical within just a couple of months and then you’re stuck in a 2 year contract.

Too expensive for the number of channels you receive. Very deceptive and misleading sales when signing up for an account with them. Charges suddenly appear on your bill even when you have made no changes to your account. It's difficult at times to get through to someone without being on hold for a long time and employees transfer you to different departments multiple times. You have to repeat your name, telephone number, address, and passcode over and over before you can get help. I am going to buy a tv that allows me to watch any station free of charge and cancel my service.

We were customers for 22 years. We are ona fixed income and can longer afford their cost. I is way too high and we have switched to another service. Did feel their customer service was as helpful as they could be.

If you ever want a great satellite experience that not what you will get. They have a great selection and packages to choose from. Beware though! They get you in a 2-year contract and give you a great monthly rate only good for one year. The rates go up on the second year.

Very expensive. We only have it for the sports. We would love the option of an internet based provider or an antenna. Due to our location, neither are an option. Directv does have good customer service. Service is just not worth the cost.

The channel offering from DIRECTV is amazing, however the pricing of packages is not in the best interest of the customer. Too much choice/options at high prices. The 2-year contracts are also difficult to deal with, especially in the age of streaming services.

My mother uses DIRECTV and loves the Shows that come with such a product. I don't particularly like DIRECTV. This type of product is great for the older generations.

Cost of service keeps increasing every year but products for the cost keeps declining. Product is reliable but they should provide some discounts to customers that are loyal. I've been a customer for 15 years.

Having a satellite has a lot of downsides. DIRECTV is not available everywhere, it's not available to a lot of people and who is watching and paying for cable anymore aside from people who have had cable most of their lives and aren't ready to cut the cord? DIRECTV is world's better than Comcast in any arena so i can commend them for that.

The service from DirectTV was mostly reliable except when dealing with storms, which caused the signal to be lost. Getting the dish repointed could be problematic, then getting a service tech out would always cost money.

Bill changes every few months. They do not offer many choices to change your package. Now that the have merged with AT&T they should offer a better bundle service if you have internet and cell phone services as well. Thinking about changing back to Comcast.

They give you a great start up price than they hike it up till you find a better rate and are suprized when you discontinued there service plus their services go in and out with the weather here in the south it rains here nearly every day in the spring summer and fall you lose about 4hrs of service every month

It is too costly for the service. DIRECTV continues to have issues when bad weather is present, and that is annoying. I will not continue with the service past the next couple of months. Paying over $70 is too much. I pay over $120 dollars and that does not include all the best channels. I can pay much less for their competitor anc get more.

I like DirecTV for my TV choices. I don't like DIRECTVit when there's a storm. Losing the satellite is frustrating. I also don't like that I have to haggle over the price every 6 months or so.

I have to say that Directv has always been pretty bad for me. I would easily lose signal and it would take forever to get it back. There are moments where it would work pretty well, but it was very annoying when the signal would leave.

I don’t Really have too much good stuff to say about Directv. They lock you into a two year contract, then raise the price after a year. You have to call them every month to get it lowered. And the service goes out every thunderstorm. It was a frustrating experience. I’m glad I switched companies.

I have used DirecTV for the past 3 years. I have the package with HBO + the basic plan. Most of the time there is something good to watch. However, I don't feel all the channels that I have is worth over $200 a month.

They were good as long as we were under contract. After the contract ended, the prices increased and all "promotional" discounts were null and void. The loyalty was gone once the contract ended.

I used to love DirecTV, then when it came time to renew, they screwed me, I told them I would never come back (after 7 years as a customer) and they could have cared less. No loyalty at all, and even after all this, they send me so much junk mail and even call me begging me to come back. They don't get it and it's frustrating. I tell everyone to steer clear.

We canceled because it was so expensive and they didn't carry our favorite local station - KSL. Also, their prices kept going up. We just don't watch that much TV to justify the price. We went to a digital antennae instead.

Like most companies they don’t cater to the lifelong partnership and steadily increase their prices. As soon as you threaten to leave they suddenly slash their prices by half and beg you to come back. Doesn’t seem quite right.

DIRECTV is so expensive. Their customer service is very poor. They are constantly trying to find ways to get more of your money. The channels they offer and provide are mostly garbage. But to get the channels you do want, you have to pay for the garbage ones you never watch. My family and I do not like it. We are canceling are subscription.
