Before last month I would have given them a 5 star rating. Now they are lucky it's 2 and not 1. I am autoship for my dogs medications and have normally had no problem getting them. Last month I got an email informing me there was a problem with my order and I needed to contact. I did. I was informed they were out of the medication and my order would be canceled if I did not want to order something else. It was canceled the next day. After going around and around with customer service I had to order from my veterinarian. I am on a fixed income and originally went with Chewy and autoship to be able to afford the meds for my pooch. Now I cannot pay one of my monthly bills because I have to have her medication. The markup by my veterinarian is costly. So. This month I again received an email telling me there was a problem with my order and it has again been canceled. My issue ... Chewy should be filling autoship orders FIRST before any other order is filled.... I am very disappointed, angry and sad. My dog and I should not have to suffer Chewy's negligence in this matter.

Every year for my dogs birthday they send a bundle of goodies for her. They have dog food sold in bigger bags than retail at a more reasonable price, their toys are affordable and sturdy.

This is a review regarding ONLY their pharmacy + veterinary diet departments and how Chewy's customer service department interacts with the 2 departments. I have been extremely satisfied with non-veterinarian products ( ie toys, treats, etc.) This is a listing of the problems I have encountered with Chewy.com within the past month: 1) Being told I had a prescription from September 2016 for a pet food from a specific vet . Unfortunately, this vet did not begin work at the clinic on file for another 2 years. Was told an employee, while multi tasking, confused scripts from different clients. To be clear, this means that I or another customer could have bought/received medication NOT approved by a veterinarian. 2) On my vet profile, having my dog's name as my vet's name , having vets' names who I do not recognize as ever treating my pets, and flip flopping first and last names for my vet. 3) Within a 6 hour time period, being told that a Palladia, a chemotherapy drug was A) Temporarily Out of stock B) Was delivered but would take 1-2 business days to enter the system C) Availability unknown as it depends on when manufacturer ships D) Inventory shows 99 Million Tablets available. ( Yes, 99 MILLION) Something is wrong where Chewy customer service/Vet Diet Foods.Pharmacy seem not to be coordinating with each other. Also, on both the normal and supervisory level, employees seem to be unwilling or unable to use common sense that an inventory of 99 Million tablets for an expensive chemotherapy drug should be a red flag. Have tried to contact corporate to no avail .

Without the pharmacy, Chewy deserves 10 stars. However, their Pharmacy rollout is a disaster. CS doesn't have a clue about the process. Every thing needs to escalated to a manager. Communication do not give the complete situation. I have spent probably 4 hours dealing/and revealing with managers. In my case was of the drugs needed for my dog to be able to walk was held due a minor skin spray for another dog. You need to fix or you will lose customers

Chewys has the best customer service of any pet online retailer that I have ever used and I have used many. Any damaged items are immediately replaced, their prices are reasonable, and delivery is fast. Great company!

Lately I have had more than my share of problems with delivery. It was Fed Ex at fault but Chewy made it right. When my Autoship order was out of stock Chewy Supervisors came to the rescue. More importantly they explained how they are working to prevent this from happening in the future. Can't beat the customer service.

absolutely love their prices and selection, but it ends there. Once you hit "place order" the excitement of saving money is over. It will never be delivered to your door, even if that's the most convenient place, it still won't make it there. I have a driveway and sidewalk that leads straight to my front door, nope instead I find my boxes somewhere in the driveway and they are ALWAYS smashed. They will not package your order in a way that makes sense. Big items smash everything else. I had cat vitamins that were literally powder from being smashed so much. Chewy will replace the items, but it's every single time! Petco delivers to my door and nothing is ever destroyed! Chewy acts like this is no big deal. Flea preventive came flat as a pancake! My boxes are never even taped closed because they're so destroyed upon delivery. Needless to say I had to switch to petco.

i just placed my first order ever from chewy, it was not receivedin two days like promised, worst of all the bag is full of cockroaches! at first wr thought they were coming from our garage even though the bag is closed tightly, but today i opened the bag to feed my dog, but first i gave the bag a shake, lots of roaches running all throughout the food! i ordered VDog and i will be getting my money back

Chewy used to be great; well stocked and great shipping. However the last couple of times I tried to order they are out of stock of several dog foods I like purchase. It’s gotten so frustrating that I have decided to shop elsewhere. Yeah I might pay a little more by changing but if they can’t keep their stock up and cannot purchase what are you really saving?

The first one had a broken latch to hold the top and bottom together, Called them ASAP--were very nice and helpful--had the return label before the day was out and it was picked up the next day and I had a new one the day after that. I really think they are awesome. My only complaint would be the occasional dented can where the seal was broken and I had to toss that can. It rarely happens now though because they have improved their packing technique greatly. Their prices are the best I've found and they have a great selection of food, treats and toys!
