I had a bad fall and was still able to call for help even though mobile part of unit was packed away in a suit case on the second floor since I was preparing to leave on a trip.

I was sold on the fact that you didn't need a landline and I didn't need to operate a smart phone. My father wears it but I'm at work, so with it, I know if he needs help. I haven't had to use customer support, since we haven't had any medical emergency, but the service has gone off twice for non-emergencies.

Seems like a good system, with the necklace and the wristband. I just tried the button and made sure it works. They came right on and asked if I had a problem or an emergency, and I said, no, this is just a test. They said okay, and that was the end of that.

My friend said it was a good one. I wear it every day, but when I did use it one time, it didn't go off. It has to work a little bit better than what it does if I fall. I've fallen, and it doesn't go off at all so I don't know what is wrong then. I never hear from their support people. I don't think that that my I got my money's worth. I don't think I should pay that much for nothing.

Dear Beverly,

Thank you for your review. We have reviewed your account and see that you do not have the fall detection pendant, which means when you fall, you have to press your button for help. We have created a ticket for Technical Support to reach out to you to provide understanding on how the system works and answer any questions that you may have. We look forward to speaking to you.

Sincerely,

MobileHelp

I had a reference from my brother in law that led me to decide on MobileHelp. They're pretty prompt in getting problems solved. I'm just concerned sometimes that there aren't enough bars on the cell signal, and I wonder if I'll really have the fortune to get through.

I really like it quite well. I've been fortunate I haven't needed it, but I know it's there. It went off once when I was in the shower and pushed it, and right away they offered me help, so that was nice.

It's gone off a time or two, so I think it's okay. I live by myself and I'm past 85, so you never know what's goanna happen then. That's why I need it. It's A-OK, and I haven't had trouble with it.

There wasn't a lot of stress with them. There's no contract. It just made it easier, and it's affordable. This is a really good program and I recommend it to anybody. I had to use it when I think I was having a heart attack, and it helped me very well. It was prompt, and you'll get the answer that you need really quick. They tell you they'll stay with you on the line, but they didn't in my case. Aside from that, they're very trustworthy.

I researched several of them, and as much as any reason, I think their representative was the most professional of all I talked with. I'm blind so I wear it when I walk anywhere, doing anything, but I haven't used it that much outside. I use it inside my house, just walking around. It went off three times in the first two weeks, but they were all accidents. I wear it around my neck, and I if have any episode, I push the button, so it's a nice security.

My daddy had a different company, and it took them 20 minutes to get someone to the house when he called. Now I'm here by myself. I needed some help, and I'd seen an ad for Mobile Help on Facebook, and I just called. I haven't had to use it, thank the Lord, but I'm glad I got it if I do need it. I just wear the wristband. I can't wear the necklace because I've got a big knot of cancer on the side of my neck and it hurts there.

I have the unit in my house, and I had an experience about 2 weeks ago in the middle of the night that was not good. I was probably 25 feet away from the unit. It sounded tinny, and I couldn't understand the gentleman who answered the call, and he couldn't understand me. He hung up, and did not ever call a paramedic. They did contact all of the 3 people that are all in my contact list but then when one of them went to call relatively soon after he got the initial call, then he was put on hold and said he would be answered in the order the call was received. If you get a phone call in the middle of the night because you have a family member that needs help, and you call back the number, and you get that you're in the line to be answered, that's very disconcerting. That was at 3 in the morning. Another member of the family got his message at 7 am, which was not any fault of Mobile Help, and the other member of the family got hers at 8 am, and that was also not the result with the problem with Mobile Help either, but they all got the same message: that they were on hold and their call would be answered in the order received. That was a lot of red flags up for my family members. I used it a lot since then, too. I've fallen and gotten a concussion. I was here with a care giver at night, and she pushed the button because my biggest problem is when I fall I don't think to push the button, in fact I was going to call today to have that extra service put on.

I looked at several companies and I thought that was one for me. I've recommended them to several people already. I had to use it after a fall, and they got me the ambulance for me. Every time I've talked to the office they seemed very capable. I have to say, though, that one time they were not very good. I had to wait too long, about 4 or 5 minutes for them to answer the phone.

I found out that it was one of the cheapest companies that I surveyed. I'll recommend it, since it's trustworthy. I haven't had to use it, but it really comes in handy to me because of my conditions. I think that for some people, when they get over a certain age, it should be provided to them. I think that Medicaid or somebody needs to look into that to get more older people to get one without paying a high price.

I already sent back the system. I can't have it because of the issues with the county. Sometimes it would go off on its own and cause false alarms, and I got in trouble for it, so I got upset and had to send the system back due to those malfunctions. I don't have a system anymore. It's a little too high-priced for my budget, anyway. It was very fast response, though, getting back with you very quickly.
