Every time it's gone off has been when I'm not doing anything. I've either been sitting and reading or watching TV. I had it replaced, and it worked well for a while but then it did it again. They need some different kind of neck thing, so you can put a regular chain where it won't go backwards on you all the time. The machine itself is bothersome, but the customer service is friendly.

MobileHelp doesn't require a phone line, you can just put it into the outlet. It's easy to use and they call right away to check on me if there is an emergency. The price is good as well.

I didn't know how I was supposed to fly with it, so I called and asked them. They told me I should turn off the mobile unit and then carry it in my checked luggage while carrying the wrist watch in my purse. I had to return my fall detector necklace because it was just too sensitive.

The device & customer service when she accidently hits the buttton are very good. We had trouble with getting it delivered, we were told it would be delivered in 4 days, but it took 5 days, so we had to arrange care for the weekend, because of it.

We are pretty neutral in our feelings about the device. You have to charge it every 24 hours, and the pendant is not a microphone, so if you want to talk to the people when there's an alarm, you have to be near the microphone.
