I am very pleased to have it around my neck. I am very comfortable with it. It is nice and light around my neck. It doesn’t hang heavy. It is just lovely. The system works fine. It is there when I need it.

On several occasions, I’ve accidentally pushed the button and any time, there was a person there to see if I was injured or not. I get a good reaction. I think it is a good service. I like all of it.

It's costly and annoying to be have something around my neck even though it is light. I hardly wear jewelry. I can’t sleep with it on so I keep it next to me. The device works exactly the book and directions said it would. It was easy to test.

I have had no reason to use their services but so far all has gone well . I needed to use customer service since the product was not acting as I had been informed. Customer service wasvery patient and solved my problem. It would have been nice if I had been prepared that I might have to have the product reprogrammed upon plugging in.

Medical Guardian made sure that I was okay. I think I may have pressed it to test and asked if I needed help. I said - no just testing - and then they took the address and stuff again and make sure that was right.

The protection is thorough and I like that. All the pieces, such as the lock box on the door, allow me to be independent. It gives a great deal of assurance for both the person who uses and the relatives.

There is an immediate response when I test it. It gives me assurance in case of an emergency. The only thing I don’t like is that it feels bulky under my shirt. It would be nice if it were smaller.

Their equipment’s quality is excellent. The response has been quick. I used it once when I fell and it called the fire department and they picked me up off the floor. I have to wear it backwards because of the lights.

Easy to use for protection. When I test it, they answer immediately and the alarm is very loud. The equipment came right away and it was easy to set up. It is well worth the money.

Overall, it is excellent. The distance from the base being one hundred yards is excellent but the bad thing is bringing the base with you when you leave the house. The people are courteous and it works very well.

The process for set up and response is not adequate. Had trouble contacting the call center to get information and clarify their response procedure. Sales is not very supportive after the sale and you can't reach tech support from a phone if you have issues after normal business hours which is not acceptable for a 24/7 emergency response unit.

Only thing that I think is that the button should be recessed a little bit to make it a little more difficult to accidentally push the button. I like that it covers most of the 48 stated.

Customers reviews online. At&T is not strong in my area. Called to return the device and was told they also use Verizon. Waited for new device,it downloaded right away with Verizon. I rated a 4 star because the rep should have told us about both options

It’s good knowing I have security if anything happens to me I can smash the button and get help. The magnification of their voice was very good when I tested it the first time, though the second time they answered the phone, they had a very faint voice.

One of the main reasons we got Medical Guardian is that it has fall detection. I like that there is no additional equipment, it’s all contained in one unit. I would prefer to have a watch band instead of hanging pendant and I think it could be a bit louder and customer support needs so work and could be more responsive but I do feel like the people genuinely care about their customer they just need to follow up.

Reply from Medical Guardian

Hi, Gloria. Thank you for your review. We are glad that you have had a generally good experience thus far. We do not offer fall detection around the wrist, as this tends to increase the frequency of false alarms. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you.

When it first came, one of the devices, the neck pendant, was not working properly but when I called and explained this, they sent me a new one right away. Customer service was helpful and cooperative. I tested it and they called me back shortly and checked to make sure I was alright.

I dislike that I can't have a clip on it that can use to put it on my bra. They have sent me a clip, but it's not the kind I can sue. I tested it when I first got it. They were very easy to work with. I'm very happy with it.

We tested it about a week and a half ago and the girl answered right away so it was very satisfactory. There's nothing that I dislike. It's convenient and very handy. I have the bracelet instead of the necklace so I can take it of at night or anytime I want to but it's still close to me.

They let you know when she needs help. We like that we are alerted when my mother falls. I don't like the fact that if she's in the bathroom she can't hear the speaker when she hits the button and they say "Can I help you?" We've used it twice. Once to call the paramedics and one called the daughter.
