Volume on speaker needs to be louder. I can only hear the associate if I am standing by the device. It would be nice to be able to hear from at least a short distance away.

The wrist alert is good, except that the strap works itself out of the loops. I can't figure out how to keep the straps in. This happens maybe every two or three days.

The device is helpful. Customer service people try to keep track of your equipment. How people are using it and how they are getting the alert.

No follow up when item was accidently unpluged. Did not realize it until a number of days later. , Med. G. should have followed up with a phone call to check out the problem. Phone call number is in the original paper work. POOR monitoring!

I like it because it gives me security I don't like it hanging around my neck all the time. The first time we tested it there was a delay getting through to the company so it took us a little time.

It seems like the battery runs out sooner than 3 days. It needs to be recharged like every 2 days. It takes three and a half hours to fully charge up which is kinda slow. It would be nice if it lasted a little longer.

Reply from Medical Guardian

Hello James, thank you for your review! Although the device may last up to 3 days, we still recommend charging it every night - like a cell phone so you won't have to worry about it dying. We could definitely take a look into your device and see if there any issues. We'll send you a message to get your phone number to reach out to you. Thank you for choosing Medical Guardian!

Emergency response was quick. Regular customer service is absolutely awful. Call and hold for 12 minutes, then you find out you've reached an answering service. the answering service says that a Medical Guardian agent will call back "as soon as possible." On both occasions, they called back THE NEXT DAY!

It doesn't answer the call within a reasonable time, it took five minutes for my first call and they didn't answer so I pushed it again and it took two more minutes before it rings. I was told they would send me another unit, which I never received.

They always answer and the buttons seem to work well. The only issue is you have to be within a certain distance, if you're too far away you can't hear what they say so that is tricky.

I like the system but the product is so poorly designed and very flimsy. It broke and I can see why you want insurance on the product. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of the product because it guarantees it's going to break again and I've had it for such a short time.
