Southwest Airlines is one of the cheapest airlines. I hate the way they load and I hate the way they screw you on luggage. Customer service is fine but I always feel like I’m on a low budget outfit.

Southwest Airlines doesn't do assigned seats. Your seat is based on how early you check in. A good system in theory but aggravating in practice. If you are traveling with someone but check in a little late, you will have trouble finding seats together. There are also no seat back computers for movies or games. Fly another airline if you can.

I am not a fan of all of the extra fees or boarding process if you do not pay the extra fee to choose a seat in advance. Just build the price of the seat into the price of the ticket. It feels like there are fees for nearly everything which makes you wonder is the price of the ticket really as competitive??
