Best ever!

Everywhere we went last year on Delta was perfect, except for Salt Lake City. Jill (with the broken thumb) was rude and hateful. She turned a family away that was late. She did not even try to help them. She just basicly told them they were too late. They were there at the load time. She than told them loading time is 15 minutes early and that was that.

Delta Airlines has been my families go to for more than 30 years. Multiple trips from Kentucky to New York in the early 80's as an IBM executive was always comfortable. Delta Airlines always went the extra mile to make my business trips enjoyable. It almost felt like vacation every time when I traveled with Delta Airlines.

So, this review is from the perspective of what I am finding online, and not necessarily from a recent flight. The prices for Delta just seem a bit higher compared to other companies. I'm planning a trip to Peru in November, and when looking at multiple companies and online flight book agencies, Delta is always more expensive. Is this because of the destination? Or in general is the quality of flight just better (I'm mainly only use United). I thought this would be a good takeaway for some readers who are interesting in also flying to Peru this year to maybe look for alternatives.

We had a direct flight to Hawaii with Delta Airlines. One of the things I really like with Delta is their SkyMiles program. It is a great way to earn points for additional flights and their website allows you to see how you can redeem your miles for flights. We had no problems on our flight and would definitely fly with Delta again.

At first, i heard that Delta wasn't good enough.. When I found out about my flight cancelled due to the snow.. they helped me to get the best as possible to get on the flight and I explain my deaf access.. Afterward, they gave me some mileage credit and they helped deaf people afterward.. Deaf Access is important to me and to deaf community. I often go on flight with them because they treat me good now.

They need nicer, more personable flight attendants infirst class. They also need to allow more than 2 alcoholic beverages in first class. For GOD sake, I am paying a premium for the seat. The least they could do is offer as many cocktails as I want.

I fly Delta regular, not really by choice because they are the only airline flying from London to Minneapolis non-stop. I fly Delta One which is supposedly the best class they offer. My biggest gripe with Delta is the customer service experience is just not there and they seem to lack the overall experience. They do act professional at times, but the aircraft they use on a busy route is old a 767-300. It is both uncomfortable and incredibly noisy aircraft. The seats are uncomfortable even in Delta One, the whole experience on every journey is not pleasant compared to other airlines. They are missing the real experience of travel and it feels very much an experienced cross between a budget airline and a moderate airline – they do not seem to know if they are one or the other, they most certainly do not fall into the category of luxury or even top quality airline. However, in retrospect none of the US airlines matches those from UK and Asia in that respect.

Great app, gave me accurate updated on arrival and departure time when the plane was delayed because of weather. Flights were quickly and easily boarded. Some attendants/pilots were more friendly than others but all were polite and respectful.

It is usually very enjoyable to fly with Delta. The staff is courteous, but there are two main reasons why I don't fly with them if I have another option. I don't like how they charge you money to check your bags. If you have purchased a ticket to fly with them, they should at least provide you with one checked bag for free. My husband and I have a Skymiles Account with them. When we have used our points in the past, and then have had to cancel a flight, the only way we can get our points back is by paying a $150 fee. That's not cool! We should be able to get our points back for free. Tickets for Delta are also priced higher than other airlines.

I fly on Delta between four and five times a week, three weeks a month, ten months a year - on average. The flight attendants are spectacular and really care about your comfort. The pilots will do their absolute best to make sure you arrive (safely) on time.

I like that Delta has direct flights into so many cities. But they are incredibly inflexible about rescheduling flights (without charging you through the ceiling) or letting you change to an earlier flight if your plans change and you arrive at the airport early (even if the plane is not full). I also do not like the fact that they changed their policy and now charge you extra money to get an assigned seat when making your reservation (even in the economy class). This was the main thing I didn't like about Southwest Airlines and why I used to always try and pick Delta over Southwest -- so I would have an assigned seat. Now since neither assign seats without charging you extra I don't really prefer one of them over the other and just look for the best flight at the best price.

I fly with commercial airlines quite a bit and Delta just seems to have fewer problems that effect travel schedules. Staff is helpful and friendly, from the ticket counter to checkin, to on the plane, and even arrival and baggage claim seems to be more organized than on other carriers.

Not quite 5 stars due to higher prices. I fly with Delta most often for work trips due to company preference. I've been on both their newer and older planes in their fleet and the difference felt pretty drastic. Older planes weren't that comfortable with no inflight entertainment and crowded seating. Delta's newer planes are naturally better - felt roomier, inflight entertainment, seats were more comfortable with better aesthetics making it a more enjoyable experience. Service is always great with Delta - boarding, inflight and when landed.

Delta's lightning fast refund really surprised me! Hurricane Irma left a power outage at my destination the day before my scheduled flight. I submitted a request for refund on their website & got a typical automated email response. Then I tweeted! Within an hour my request was granted! Thank you @Delta.

I love flying delta, the planes are always super nice and comfortable, they have free movies and TV in flight and offer headphones. The crew members are very polite and courteous and even brought me a blanket when I was cold once (and no I wasn't in first class to get this treatment). Anytime I fly delta, I never regret it.

One of our last flights with Delta we were stuck on the plane for 40 mins until they decided to have us disembark. Once we were off the plane we found out the flight was going to be cancelled because of terrible weather in our next lay over city. We quickly went to a ticket counter to see if we could get the next plane to our destination. Delta was able to arrange a flight the next morning for us.

I have only flown delta on an international trip, I started in California and was flying to England. There were a few layovers before the over the sea trip, all of which were very reasonably timed. For the long (8 hour) flight they had entertainment in the form of music, and videos. I had no complaints other than the space between their seats because I am tall (6'3"), but that is not uncommon for me to have that problem.

I travel well in excess of 200,000 miles a year and I have never had an experience that Delta has not stepped up and fixed. They are reaponsive and when I fly it is clear that they are happy that I am a customer. I will not fly another US carrier as there is not another who has the reach or the attitude to convince me otherwise.

I took Delta to and from Manila on March 15 and July 15 respectively and I found their seat more comfortable and the food was almost excellent. Our trip was on time except for delayed flight from Detroit to Newark with acceptable reason. Overall my experience was excellent and if given the chance I will take my next trip (again) with Delta, only I am also weighing options on the fare price, and my latest trip was not so expensive. I hope I can get a better deal next year, thank you>

Northwest Airlines I loved. Now Delta Airlines I love. While there can be delays, usually weather related, I've been able to work through it. And the possibly newest thing to get us on and seated, is the pre carryon boarding by staff. It makes boarding quicker. I saw some folks who were hesitant, but many were like my husband and I, willing. Delta is generally our first choice.

My wife and I decided to join the Delta American Express Skymiles club because we wanted to travel to Europe. We joined the club last September and received 50,000 free bonus miles. The program was great for traveling because we each could check up to 2 bags and get on the plane early. We also got 1 mile for every dollar we spent. My only real complaint with Delta is it is almost impossible to get free flights. Even with the free 50,000 miles, flying more than 10 times in the year and buying everything with our Delta American Express card, we still could not get a free ticket for our flight to Europe in May with our miles. We were only able to knock off a few hundred bucks off of our ticket price. After that experience I did some research and found Delta is rated one of the worst mileage programs because it is almost impossible to get free flights. The flights were great but do not join their mileage program. It is a waste of money.

Over all I like Delta a lot, Hate the fact that they are charging for second bag but I guess we owed that to Spirit that changed a lot of the new regulations. That is an airline that I wont take for any money. DL customer service is very competitive, friendly, love the skymiles program and the Amex Dl for the rewards program as well. The way Atlanta airport is designed is super easy and friendly to move faster to the next connection.

Most of the time my national Delta flights go well but my international flights have seemed to be riddled with issues. Our flights to Gran Canaria Spain booked originally through Delta, later switched to AirFrance and other airlines. Thinking all was settled we get to the airport on the departure day to find Delta had not properly ticketed us so we lost our priority seats and 40 mins later finally got our tickets. However we could only get tickets for the first leg of the flight and were told to get our connecting seat vouchers at arriving airport. That worked fine arriving in Paris on the initial travel date. However on the way back the first airline could not give us our connection tickets either. Upon arrival in Madrid we had to exit the secure area, locate the Air France area of the airport and secure out tickets for our connecting flights. Then we had to go through security once again. Needless to say our layover time was used up and had no time for restroom breaks or refreshments. The one good thing, our luggage did arrive where it needed to and when it needed to.

Recently I have been flying through Delta when taking trips and it is amazing. The customer service is impeccable, almost every plane that I have ridden on has been updated nicely. They offer a wide range of snacks, movies, and seating options. I have never had a flight problem when flying Delta, and cannot believe I never flew with them until about a year ago.

I needed to fly my 12 year old daughter to salt lake city to San Diego for a volleyball tournament by herself. Delta airlines unaccompanied minor program put my worries to rest. I delivered her at the gate to the flight attendant and she was handed off to there trust worthy designated adult upon arrival. Deltas customer service was prompt , courteous and reliable. They took good care of her and made sure she was safe while on the flight. I highly recommend their service.

With 6 kids I need easy and efficient and Delta gives me that when I travel around with them. The ticketing and gate agents are helpful and accommodating when I have the kids. Inflight they are helpful too and the pilots are comforting. My bags are well cared for and arrive on time. When they’ve been late they make it right and deliver late at night. Customer service has helped me change flights and rebook with ease even when I’m frustrated.

Love Delta! We use to fly they a lot! Loved the way the captain use to take interest in the child passengers! Would give them coloring books and plastic wings! There lunch for the long trips were good! Good verity of drinks! They had complimentary earbuds, blankets, and pillows! Not to mention my favorite part, was the little clubs they had in airports so you didn’t have to sit out in waiting area for flight! Like I said it’s been a while,..... but they are always my favorite airline!

I have had great experiences with Delta Airlines. They always give you free drinks and snacks and have minimal interruptions. If they do have interruptions, delays, or cancellations it is most likely for your safety due to weather concerns or problems with the plane that don’t occur too often. I had good seats next to my sister and it was a rather pleasant flight. Sometimes I do have that occasionally child kicking the back of my seat which can get super annoying but other than that, it has been pretty good. Also, these scenarios are not really the airlines fault but it can take away from the pleasantness of your experience.

Delta Airlines is our favorite of the biggest carriers based in the United States based on generally successful experiences flying with them. We have a Delta credit card and so get a free checked back as long as the cardholder is a member of the party that is flying together. Delta offers numerous flights and to numerous locations and we have experienced mostly consistent on-time departures and arrivals and checked bags making to our destination.

Delta Airlines is a little more expensive than most airlines but if you take into consideration that you get a free bag that saves you right there! You always have a little more leg space and the head rest pops out to give you a place to rest your head to sleep. It's worth the extra money for me because I have never been delayed or had a problem with being over booked like some of the more discounted airlines.
