They have always answered my calls and come to take care of my problems efficiently. My dryer was broken and I called someone. They came in, ordered the part, came back and changed it, and it's now working.

My experience with Choice Home Warranty is sometimes very negative, sometimes very positive. I had somebody out to fix my refrigerator once and he was so wonderful. I told him I wanted him again for my dryer and he was wonderful. Everybody else in between has not been good. They keep fixing my toilet putting plastic parts in, then in a few months they go out agian, then I have to pay another 60 dollars service fee to have more of the same parts that break and when I could have paid for my own toilet and it would have been less expensive. Their customer service is always pleasant, however, I've had some very bad experiences--not with the customer service--but with with getting competent people out here. For example, I needed to use it today. I called them at 7:30 in the morning. They said that there would be no problem sending a plumber out today and that I would receive a call. I received an automated call telling me that they're going to come March 11, when I do not have a toilet to use. So I called up customer service and I said that isn't acceptable. He said, "well that's who picked it up and if nobody else picked it up before him then that's all that's available." Well, I don't use the warranty company to book something a week in advance when I need help right away or within the next day or two--which they are supposed to provide. However, they did not. Why did they book a week out when I said that it's an emergency and I need service? So what good is a warranty company if they're not going to get somebody out here when I need them. I pay a lot of money and I could get handy man to do this and probably cover the 60 dollars fee that I pay them anyway, so why am I paying for this warranty service? I am going to seriously think of canceling. I've been with them for years and there always seems to be a problem. When there was a problem with with my air conditioner, the man didn't know how to fix it, so I called twice but that was the only company they would give me. They said I paid once and that he has to come out again--well, he didn't know what was the matter with it so why why would I want him again?--so I would have to pay them 60 dollars again to come to send somebody else out. This is not acceptable.

I have used my warranty many times and I've always been satisfied. They answer phones and send contractors out in a timely manner. They do good work, and I've never had a problem with them.

I just used it this last week, the garbage disposal went out, I called, and the guy came the next day. Choice Home Warranty solves my problems, has the fastest response, and sends out good people.

It's easy to file a claim. I had to use my warranty for my electrical plug and they quickly scheduled the appointment and the service representative that came out was very knowledgeable and very professional. I chose them for the price.

Good service that offers additional service for a reasonable price. The customer service representatives are very friendly and knowledgeable. The technician sent to my house was good.

I did a comparison between different companies on price of call and contract price and Choice gave a good discounted price. I like that I am able to call and get a person right away.

They’re really quick. I haven’t had any issues making a claim. The last time I sent a service request for my garbage disposal, I lucked out because the technician came two hours later. I am glad I renewed my warranty.

Support is always very courteous and they are usually quick to respond. The only thing I don’t like is the limit coverage. I’ve had several calls where things were not covered and it was frustrating. I’ve had good contractors when I do get service.

The people they’ve sent did good work. When we needed a repair on our furnace, they sent someone out right away which was good timing because it was cold. It seems like it is a pretty good deal.

I had a home warranty program before that I was not happy with the way they settled their claims. Choice had a better price. I don’t like that I get referred to companies who are way far away when there are companies much closed but I was happy with my last service call.

One of the times I used it was terrible, the other was great. The first time it was the water heater and their service representative fraudulently told me I needed to have my hot water tank replaced and a whole bunch of things had to be done and quoted me fifteen hundred dollars and when I looked at it, the pipe and merely burst and it was a two hundred dollar repair. None of it was covered and I had to pay out of pocket. The second experience was much more pleasant. The technician came out for the air conditioner and he was extremely professional and very thorough. All was well.

Choice is a good company. I think we should be able to choose our vendors from a list rather than just get whoever picks up the job because I did have someone come out who was ineffective. Everything worked out in the end I was happy.

I used my warranty a few times last month and I had a great experience. I am happy. They are punctual. The only time I’ve had to register a complaint was when I needed an additional plumber. It is too bad every time I put in a request I have to pay the service fee.

There is not a lot of interaction because most of it is done online. I’ve used it a couple of times for my heating system and the second time it worked out really well. It can depend on who they send out. They have a lot of choices so that’s good.

I had a call in for stove burner repair. While repairman was here, he noticed that the digital display on my fridge was not functioning correctly. He said he needed a part and that I should let Choice know about the problem. Even though it was the same repairman, I was charged an additional $45. fee. No extra trip. All completed in second visit.

I requested a manager call back regarding my claim. The issues was the same as last month and requested the same company that completed the issue. The customer service rep told me it doesn't work that way. I informed that I spoke with the company and they willing to take the claim but I can submit the order to Choice; but was told I can't do that either. It has been several hours and I still have not received a return call from a manager. The previous company already came out and completed the job.

The plumber that was hired to do the repair did only part of the job. It took 2 months to find someone else to finish the job. There appeared to be a lot of confusion on the job overall. The subcontractor that was finally hired did a great job finishing the job. Consumer Home Warranty on past jobs did a great job. I was disappointed with this job in how long it took to get it completed.

I was going to call with the complaint not about choice but about the people that Y'all have sent out here for my heat. I ordered it before thanksgiving I still don't have heat. I called and by the time they got back to me it was the week of thanksgiving, and by the time they got out here it was the day before thanksgiving. They didn't say they had to order a part and couldn't get it back till after thanksgiving and it is now another week and I still do not have heat or air and it's been in the thirties here.

When I signed up, I got an extended plan where you buy multiple years for a good price. There are relatively no issues except for they have trouble finding good and dependable technicians to show up on time. They also look for ways to deny your claim, so that's disappointing. They're a good value overall except for when they find ways to deny your claims.

We had a garbage disposal stop working right before Christmas and they guy came out and looked out and said he did not have the size we needed and would be out in a couple of days to put it in. A couple of days went on and he couldn’t put in because he couldn’t get under the sink because of physical problem so we waited a few more days. It ended up taking about three weeks to get it fixed. They let things slide.

It took me going through more than one person to file a claim, so I wish it was an easier process. My garage door wouldn't open so I called them and once I got through the initial person, they assigned a company to come out and fixed it the next day. One thing I don't like is that I was contacted by Choice that if I went with an older security system I would get a free service call. When I called them back to talk more about it, they said they had no record of that conversation, so I feel ripped off by Choice.
