Groupon

Used printer pix for 2 photo calendars. As the website kept crashing I processed one calendar, then found it wouldn’t let me complete the other one, stating that the groupon code had been used. I proceeded to the end, thinking it would be taken off. However, the cost of the calendar was £18.49 with delivery. Other companies are doing deals for around £5 at the moment. This was very disappointing. I would urge people not to buy this deal and stick with the more recognised companies such as Moonpig, in my experience these sites don’t crash all the time. Really groupon should vet companies better so you know you can trust what you’re buying.

Purchased the $10 for $5 Starbucks deal on Groupon. The process was extremely easy to purchase and upload to my Starbucks app. Literally took less than 30 seconds!!!! Love it!

I purchased a spa package deal for my nieces 18th birthday - I had fully expected to print off the confirmation and send it in a card. However on payment the gift option was offered to me , saying the recipient of the gift would be emailed on my chosen date ( a month later ) Choosing this option I filled in the details and the required date for my surprise to arrive ( I fully checked everything before I purchased this ) I woke to a message from my niece thanking me for the present they had automatically sent the details to her and ruined the surprise - I was so disappointed I am in Australian and can’t be with her on her special day and wanted something really nice for her to open. Customer support apologised and offered me a £10 coupon of my next purchase, I said this wasn’t exactly good enough and could they at least upgrade the deal so some element of surprise could still be maintained .i was told “ ( my supervisor) does not agree for a higher gesture of goodwill in this situation “ What situation would warrant a higher gesture than a £10 coupon ? They offered a gift package and didn’t adhere to anything they promised to deliver So disappointed with this service

I recently ordered a Comforter from your company, and it is beautiful and it arrived earlier than the date you specified! Thanks so much, I will order from Groupon again for sure! Mary Beasock - Centrailia, WA

I still don't see why people like using Groupon I've purchased several Groupons for an oil change and other items. It just doesn't make sense to me why would u pay for a discount only to have to turn around and pay more still at the place. And most of the time you still end up spending the same amount if not more at the place you go to with the discount. For example the jiffy lube shows the 42.00 one you get for 24.99 but does not state how much more you'll really have to end up paying. So when you go get the oil change it's actually way more so I still ended up paying over 40 bucks w the Groupon and the diff at the store so I dnt see how you come out winning.

My family bough a Groupon for paoint ball tickets. Best $25 ever spent. We took my son and his friends for his 13th birthday and the kids had a ball!!! We had no issues at Jason's Hot Shots Paintball using our Groupon

When trying to redeem coupons I'm finding it difficult for the company to do adequate work or so times even return calls to make an appt. when Customer Service tries to contact these vendors unsuccessfully & they have to refund the Groupon the vendors should be removed so that others don't repeatedly buy group one for services which are ultimately unavailable or of ver poor quality.I have had this happen with the last three vendors I've purchased.

Groupon for the most part is great. However, if you buy more than one of the same item, some merchants will not let you check out all at once, and pay just one S & H even when ALL the items are going to the SAME address! I had to go through the purchase process for EACH item and pay a separate S & H for EACH item even when they were ALL going tot he SAME address. Groupon could make that clear up from AND I ONLY found that out AFTER I "viewed" the coupon and then of course I could not cancel my Groupon order because I had viewed the coupon. I ended up paying more for the item than if I had gone to the store and bought it.

Online chat function for customer service is excellent. Some 3rd party offers leave a lot to be desired in terms of customer service, prompt delivery etc but theres little GroupOn themselves can do about this. That being said, any issues I ever had with Groupon were dealt with very quickly and exceptionally professionally, top marks.

Groupon has been very reliable to find great deals that are near me. Groupon is great for travel and for looking for something cheap to do near by. I have loved the things I have found here!

Love Groupon!! I have gotten some great deals with photography sessions, escape rooms, replacing a windshield, going to different concerts. Easy to use and fun to see all the deals on there.

My fiance and I use groupon a lot and we love how many different deals you can get on there. Their app is really easy to use and the filters make it simple to find exactly what you are looking for. However, beware that when you buy some of the things on groupon you can't use it for the first 24 hours. So be careful when you present you groupon if you just bought it a few hours before going to restaurant.

Groupon is da best! Whenever I wanna take my girl out, I always check here first as they have the flyest deals always. Why pay full price when you can get a sick deal from them! This is my favorite site out there.

I love Groupon! My friends and I have used it on so many group activities and have saved quite a bit of money. One of my favorite things about Groupon is that tickets are digital so you do not need to print them. The app and service is convenient and definitely worth looking into if you want to save money.

I got an amazing deal on a spa treatment with Groupon. The prices are great and cannot be beaten. I will definitely use them again for services! I havent had great success with the quality of some of the products, but I'm willing to try it again.

I'm obsessed with using this app! This is so helpful and inexpensive. I love looking for all my needs here first since they're good deals. My only thing I don't like is the fine print. Example: I purchased teeth whitening and it indicates I need to have a consultation, but nowhere does it indicate that I need to pay for the consultation or if it's included in the price, etc.

I have used groupon a couple of different times to do things with my family. They have such a huge range of things that you can do on there and it changes all the time. It's fun to go on there just to see what different things you can possibly do

I have bought several goods or services through Groupon. I have been pleased on some of the deals and disappointed with others. Two of the deals I was disappointed with were for food from very small businesses (pizza and cupcakes). I have not used it in the recent past but when I did, I did not feel the site showing my account was very user friendly (possibly b/c I was using it mostly on my phone). The deals are also sometimes confusing with the details and descriptions not always tracking with what is on the photo add on the feed. They send way too many emails.

I love finding deals on Groupon! My mom and I have been able to go on quite a few Mother-Daughter dates now and save money as we go on them! On our last date, we got our nails done for half off and did a scavenger hunt in the city of Calgary using Groupon.

I have found some great deals on groupon. I've never had and issue postponing or cancelling a purchase (within the stated rules)I also find myself using it as a resource to find places to go/things to do when traveling. I end up finding fun excursions, etc. all at a discount. Groupon gets two thumbs up from me!

I love groupon! It is so easy to find great deals on every day items and activities. I now always check groupon if I am about to go out to eat, go to an activity, or even going to get a service like an oil change. I have saved so much money using this site!

Ordered a gift which was delivered weeks late. No problem, it happens. The issue is the return process. Sent info to get refund and return product. Received email stating needed email address for return label. Sent information again. Received email asking if in original box unused. Again sent information. Recieved email asking for email address, again sent information. Recieved email saying label sent ti email, look in spam and will not resend. There was NO label sent! Month later no refund, no label just disappointment, frustration and anger at groupon! Was a long time customer, first return, never again.

The worst company I have ever had dealing with. Sold us a vowcher cancelled by the seller. we contacted the seller who advised they have told groupon to stop selling this vowcher as ther are over subscribed. Woprdt customer service I have ever come across, completely ignorant of customer care, and oblivious to the fact that this was a cancellation by the seller and refused to give us a refund, pretty much saying that the credit was as good as we was going to get. They then asked that we contact ther reseller and get them to confirm to groupon that they cancelled the vowcher, so that we could then email groupon to confirm this. SO BEWARE, you may have to do all the donkey work to get a refund as Groupon do not want to confirm that their sellers a valid or are actually offering the product groupon are selling.

This company, is a fraud. I purchased Linens from them back in November, I returned the product, they acknowledged receipt of the product, but will not refund my money. There is no one to call, and they hide behind emails by not answering emails. They are taking advantage of the COVID_19 pandemic by not refunding customers money. The vendor claims that Groupon sold so much of the products but they will not pay the vendor either so many vendors are dropping Groupons and looking to file charges through the DA's office. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. 99% OF THE TIME, WHAT THEY ADVERTISE IS NOT WHAT YOU END UP GETTING. IF THERE WAS A CHOICE FOR 0 STARS, I WOULD GIVE IT TO THEM.

I ordered 5 canvas art oil paintings (abstract 3panel, tree 3panel, calle lily 5panel, and 2 beach ones 4panels each). I received 4 of them. (tree, calle lily, and 2 beach ones). 1 of the paintings (calle lily) was a 5 panel painting and I only received 4 of the panels. 1 of the paintings (tree) I ordered the 24"x16" and received the 16"x12". I contacted Groupon through email and only received a response for the calle lily 5 panel. They wanted to give me groupon bucks or exchange it (for the higher price because the deal price changed from $26.99 to $39.99). The rep said she would give me a $5 discount mind you I already paid for the items that I did not receive correctly. I told her it was a $13 difference and I didn't have use for the wrongly sent items. She said she would apply a $10 credit and I can keep the current items (mind you I was already charged for those wrongly sent items or missing item). So she wanted me to purchase the item again at a higher price and still keep the charges for the current items I did have. During this time I offered multiple times to return and/or exchange the items and was told by the rep that was not an option. I was told 2 options were available. These were my options according to the rep "Bhavyasree D4:34:01 PM Option 1: I can place a new order for you at a discount of $5. As long as the item is still available, we can resend it at no additional charge. Otherwise, I'd be happy to help you find a similar deal. Bhavyasree D4:34:03 PM Option 2: Or I can process a refund in Groupon Bucks, available immediately for you to use on another deal later. It changed to $10 credit later in the convo. I didn't want Groupon bucks because I do not believe they delivered an item that I agreed to pay for by authorizing a charge to my credit card. I asked why I couldn't just exchange it or get it for the same price with an exchange. The rep said that the merchant sets the price not Groupon. After many more back and forth, I asked for a manager and was told "Bhavyasree D4:45:14 PM Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate your request at this time due to current circumstances, which have limited our resources. However, I would be happy to continue working with you to find a resolution". after more conversing I asked again for a manager. The reps response "Bhavyasree D4:46:53 PM I understand you would prefer to speak with a manager, but I’m unable to escalate your issue any further". I went back and forth with the rep. This is the main part I wanted to share. They were not willing to credit my card back only Groupon bucks or have me purchase another painting and only give me a $10 credit. Don't let them get away with it when you come into a problem with them not giving you a correct item or not being willing to refund your form of payment (not groupon bucks which just goes directly back to them and makes money off of you). Bhavyasree D5:12:03 PM We have already informed you so many times that the managers are not available Jenice 5:12:22 PM It is illegal for you to charge me for an item that I did not agree to. 3 items. The tree was the wrong size, but you did credit it to my card so thank you. The calle lily is missing a panel you gave me an incomplete product and not what I agreed to. Bhavyasree D5:12:29 PM I have provided you all the information, since you are not happy with that. I am going to disconnect the chat Jenice 5:12:54 PM the third is the other abstract one that I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED. So you charged me for a product I did not get at all. That is fraudulent! Jenice 5:13:30 PM So you are keeping my money for an item i never received? Thank you for verifying you are committing fraud! Bhavyasree D5:14:00 PM I have already explained that if you want, we will help with the refund Bhavyasree D5:15:06 PM Jenice, just checking, are you still there? Jenice 5:15:09 PM You did not say that, you said Option 2: Or I can process a refund in Groupon Bucks, available immediately for you to use on another deal later." Jenice 5:15:26 PM Groupon bucks is not a refund. That is just more money going applied to your company. Bhavyasree D5:15:32 PM I have already explained you on starting of the chat. Bhavyasree D5:15:43 PM Shall I issue a refund back to card? Jenice 5:15:56 PM Are you doing it for all 3 items? I read the whole convo after I copied and pasted in my email and we disconnected the chat. This rep flat out lied to me because she said there were only 2 options 3 times in the convo and never once offered me a refund to my card (only after fighting and threatening to report Groupon) only offered Groupon bucks as a refund until I said thank you for verifying you are committing fraud and this was after the rep messaged me to say she was going to disconnect the chat. After fighting back and forth with the rep for about an hour and threatening to report them to the BBB and call my credit card company to report fraudulent charges (which it would be fraudulent due to the fact they did not give me the products I agreed to pay for and were not willing to credit back my card at the time), the rep finally agreed to credit back all 3. Though when I checked on my account on Groupon only 2 of the items (tree and abstract) were showing refunded. So now I get to go through all this again with another rep later. Also, not sure it was a female rep. Just put she in there instead of he..not sure why. Copied and pasted parts of the convo from my email. Only thing I changed was removing my last name in the copied and pasted parts. The fine print on mine was the following:The Fine Print FINAL SALE; no returns unless defective Most orders are delivered within 7 business days from the purchase date. Shipping questions? Does not ship to PO boxes/AK/HI/Canada/Puerto Rico How is the strike-through price determined?

I am not happy with Groupon’s service or customer care. 1. I am STILL waiting for 2 more refunds for goods ordered on 13th March 2020. a)20kg Basmati rice and b) 30 packs of 85g chicken noodles THESE ITEMS HAVE NOT ARRIVED. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THE RETAILER SELLING UNDER THE GROUPON UMBRELLA. THE MONEY FOR THESE ITEMS WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT BY GROUPON, ON 16th March 2020. The expected refunds have NOT reached my bank account. Groupon has not even acknowledged that they are aware that my products got lost/stolen/were never sent. I have made it clear that because I am out of pocket financially, I will NOT accept a Groupon credit note. 2. I am also still waiting for a refund on a pair of ‘Lounge pants’ after the totally wrong pair of cheaply made, thin, stretchy, nylon trousers were sent-both the design and colour were wrong. THERE WAS NO RETAILER’s LABEL ATTACHED TO THIS ITEM. These trousers were NOT worth the ‘original price’ of £40. I believe that this transaction came under ‘false advertising’. I DID receive a refund (22 Mar) for a pink fluffy hooded cardigan that was ALSO cheaply made with no Retailer’s label and was a totally different garment to the advertised picture. I was not asked to send this product back. I also believe that this transaction came under ‘false advertising’. 3. I am also asking for a refund from 12 Jumbo toilet rolls sold under the ‘CUSHEEN’ description. The real ‘CUSHEEN’ product is a soft, thick, good quality tissue. What arrived is a poor imitation; a thin 2-ply tissue that doesn’t rip off neatly. I also believe that this transaction came under ‘false advertising’. I have been in touch with Groupon so many times and am so disappointed that my problems are still not being resolved. I have waited 7 weeks.....
