Billing issues are the biggest complaint. They like to add things on to the bill. You can go several months with the same bill and then they throw a loop in and your billis $100 more, call customer service and work it out to the correct amount. They try to upgrade your plan without your authorization and have even called and told me my phone was outdated and if I wanted to continue service I needed to buy a new phone at the bargain price of $900 but not to worry they will bill it to me over several months with interest. I explained that if I needed a new phone I would be changing companies. Suddenly it was okay to keep my phone that was only a year old.

Cost for everything is my issue with AT&T. After 11 years with them you would think that they would offer free activation. I have also seen them have issue with the monthly billing. For example, last month I was charged extra do to a reset in billing and the rep stated that the next month would be less the difference in the prior month's billing. Well, this should have never happened. I like that they offer Military pricing.

In my opinion, with the possible exception of the big "V" cellular service provider, no other company comes close to AT&T for cellular phone services. They are the industry standard, and my only complaint has to do with one single customer service incident that was eventually rectified. Strong connections and reliable services make this my number one choice for phone service.

I am a long time Customer of AT&T partially via merger/company buyouts. I believe that if it's not broke, don't fix it. It works , they have the best network and the best Sales/Service technicians who treat you like you are a Human Being. AT&T always has the best selection of products.

AT&T has worked hard over the last couple of years to provide solid service to its customer base. Wasn't always that way when we first started with our service, but it is that way now. Family plan and solid customer service attention works well for our needs

They claim to have all 4g. 5g services but none of them work unless your in a city or town they've set up the tower for. I live in a semi rural area. There are 3 towers within 10 miles of my house . none of them are active 1 damaged 15 years ago & never fixed it as they said. None of their services work here including al the internet service on the website they offer and say will work for us. We have a pretty large population around this lake& nobody gets a cell signal from ATT or any other provider. Landlines are your best bet but I kept losing it everytime a major rain fall hit. The cable was changed 5 times in 2 years before I gave up.. Customer service is in the Philippines& cant understand what there saying. It's the worst but every body else is doing the same thing. Cell works fine in the bigger towns & cities b8have a long way to go in customer satisfaction for semi rural areas with no other options for better reception or internet

I have been with AT&T for many years. I like that you can change your plan online. I like that they are constantly innovating the plans as well. I like that they will allow monthly installments to pay for your phone. I dislike having to pay monthly for insurance and possibly a deductible with the insurance company. I dislike having to contact customer service as it always seems like a hassle and end up spending too much time on the phone with them. I dislike having phone issues (sending & receiving) as it is annoying but I dislike having to contact customer service even more so I just bare with the issues.

When our family first purchased multiple cell phones, we went with AT&T due to past history with this company. As cell phones became even more prominent, we heard from family and friends of their frustrations with different carriers. We have always found the service to be reliable, responsive in addressing any issues and my employer offered a discount with AT&T. We are pleased with the discount we receive.

What I like about this company is they have good plans for decent fees, what I don’t like is there resolution to problems with bought services. They have passed me over to many different departments during figuring out problems, it seems like they want you to give up...?

I’ve had AT&T while living in Las Vegas and Boise. Service is excellent in LV, but only ‘pretty good’ in Boise. Need more and newer, updated towers to make it top-notch. Despite being only pretty good, I have no dropped calls or issues with phone calls. It’s the spotty LTE network that could use the most updating. Overall, satisfied with my service.

AT&T was my family's old cell phone provide. The network coverage is amazing, but the issue is it became far too expensive over time. My parents had an unlimited plan for years, but eventually they made them get off of it because the price was so out dated. The plan they switches to to ended up costing us over 300$ a month, especially because we often went over the small data limits. We switched to Sprint, which while the coverage is not as good as AT&T, it is easier on the pocketbook.

My ATT service is through their acquisition of Cricket Mobile. The coverage is as good as any I've ever experienced. The plans are straight forward, all encompassing, reliable and very cost effective. High quality and dependability have been hallmarks of this service. I highly recommend it.

I have no choice but to use AT&T due to the are I live in. I live in a very rural area, that is only serviced by AT&T for both cell and house phone services. They charged us $85 a month for house phone services which included unlimited local and long distance. However there were areas that were "gray". Too far to be local to close to be long distance. These calls cost me $.10 a minute. Unfortunately my wife's cell phone as well as my dads were both numbers that fell into this gray area. We found out when we got a phone bill of over $300 between the original $85 for service, multiple fees that even the customer service and billing reps could not explain and the calls made to my dad and my wife. It was horrible. Disconnected the next month.

I have been with AT&T mobile for many years. I have yet to run into a situation that was not correctable right away. I simply pay my bill, get service and live my life happy. Sometimes when I am way out in the country I loose signal, but that is to be expected when you are out in the country. I am just a happy customer!

I'm a long time customer. Their cell service is pretty reliable-there are not many places I can't get service. The customer service is just "okay" they don't go out of their way to take care of customer complaints and they don't really care that you've been a customer for a great long time. However if you need a new phone or a change in service, they can get that done- there's usually a fee involved. Are they decent for month-to month use? yes. Would I recommend them? Yes, but with the understanding that if you have a concern, it will likely take some time and $$ to correct.

I have been a ATT customer for over 20 yrs with the exception of 2-1/2 yrs where ATT did not cover the area for service. I also have my internet with them. They are reliable and have a good customer service . The only think I disagree with is the monthly charge for land phone and internet fees. Too high for someone on social security and the average middle class. Monthly bill is 95-100

We had an AT&T rep come to our home when my mom moved here so we could bundle her cell phone with ours. He was very accommodating (came two hours to visit with us). He took his time, explained things, answered our questions and got it all set up and information transferred to new phones. Service is typical cell phone service. If there is a tower, it works. So far no issues with phone, service or billing.

The company owned store in south county near Costco is the store I frequent. They usually get to the bottom of my need. However my only complaint is that I feel like no matter why I am at the store they are always trying to sell me one more thing. Even if my need is clear and up front, they spend 10 minutes looking over my plan to see what else they can offer me. They do offer various discounts for corporate, first responder / military and teachers so that is a good company policy.

I've been using AT&T for many years now and overall their service is good. Main complaint is the coverage is poor sometimes, signal could be one bar or less, even near developed areas. This is around 10-20% of the time, but YMMV. On the positive side, their plans have improved to include more data and free calling in Canada. They also allow carrying over unused data to the next month, however your carry over is not used until you've first exhausted your monthly allowance. IMHO, this should be the other way around, deduct the carryover first then deduct from your monthly allowance. On the customer service side, I've had some billing issues with a promotional credit not being applied and that was a bit of a hassle to resolve. It was due to a glitch in their system, but no compensation for wasting my time, for an error on their part, They did correct the error on the next cycle, essentially doing the minimum required.

The rep who helped us at the store was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and got us into the correct plan for me and my fiancé. He even showed us what deals were happening with trade-ins on phones and both of us left with brand new phones. I’ve traveled a lot with my previous carrier and always had spotty service. I’ve traveled a bunch with AT&T now as well and have never found a spot with a bad signal. My 5G is often more reliable than my home internet.

Everyone knows AT&T is a giant in the wireless and communication sector. I've been using AT&T's mobile plans since 2014 and have always had reliable coverage. I do a lot of travel, both domestic and international, and have never really had any major frustrations with the service. I also previously had an internet plan through AT&T and always received reliable connection at great speeds. What AT&T can offer in reliable connections does not excuse their manipulative plans, expensive pricing, and infuriating customer service. I would guess I interact with AT&T customer service reps about 1 or 2 times a year and have never had a pleasant experience. For example, my last interaction with AT&T involved a defective phone that they refused to replace. I upgraded my device to a brand new iPhone which had a faulty microphone straight out of the box. I brought it back to the store the same week that I got it, but AT&T would not take responsibility for the problem, claiming I needed to take it up with Apple. I couldn't believe they would not stand behind a product they were selling. Long story short, there was a lot of bouncing back and forth between AT&T and Apple stores, but AT&T remained firm that they would not replace the device (Apple did eventually replace it and also could not believe AT&T was being so hands-off about it). That said, AT&T team members will entirely take advantage of the customer if they are not informed, so it is important to be familiar with AT&T's plans, prices, and policies when interacting with them. From my experience, a rep will either not know the information you present to them and will need to verify it's accuracy, or they will not readily supply you with information that may help to resolve issues or get you a better deal. AT&T is more expensive than it's competitors, so in a way, I guess you are getting what you pay for. Like I said, I've never been upset with the coverage I receive, but dealing with the company itself can be a nightmare. I wish there were more plans and options available as well. The few data plans they have are pricey and customers are pretty much forced into AT&T's upgrade calendar.

Overall good experience with ATT. The coverage just depends where you're at -- I would sometimes drop calls in certain parts of the city. I always check my bill each month too. AT&T is a good company for a cell phone provider, but often I don’t have service where I need it the most. There is no where in my school that I am able to call or text anyone. This makes it very inconvenient for me to contact anyone, and sometimes hard to participate in classes that encourage the use of technology in their classrooms. Sometimes in the middle of a building I won’t be able to get service. This is the only downfall I see with AT&T, but it’s a pretty big one that their competitors are doing a much better job at.
