As far as reliability goes, I've yet to experience an airline better than Delta. It's not the most inexpensive way to fly, but it is one of the better airlines.

I fly Delta often for business and comparatively with other airlines I think it is tops. I don’t like the industry changes reducing servicing and tiering pricing to simply reserve and then assign a seat to fly.
