CHOICE HOME WARRANTY is a fake company, They loot people around, I bought house insurance asking for specific part for my Air Conditioner if they cover, i have email confirmation that yes they cover, i then had a field technician from there company to my home to investigate and they deducted service charge, after that when we filed the claim they rejected it, giving all sorts of reasons which does not make any sense. I request people for stop buying insurance from them , so that fake companies like these will stop looting poor peoples money because its our hard earn money after all.

To avoid headache and frustration please do not purchase with Choice Home warranty. They denied my claim from the start & I have to spend days requesting to cancel my policy, however they don’t want to cancel my policy made promises that no one know about. They assigned a case manager but apparently that case manager Kenny J doesn’t think it is urgent enough to return voicemail and email. I am still without a refrigerator. They really don’t want to fix anything and making excuses of existing conditions or they don’t fix leaks. Please do not purchase with them.

I made the mistake of "getting a quote" on Choice Home Warranty's website yesterday. I've gotten at least 4 calls since then: 2 from them and 2 from another company (Total Home Protection). When I asked them to remove me from their call list, they told me "of course, we'll stop calling you when you purchase out insurance". I will never purchase anything from a company using these marketing tactics.

They never cover anything and every service person associated with the company basically said they were terrible and were sorry but they wouldn’t work with the company anymore. So if you can wait week+ for hot water, pool repair, plumbing issues just to have the company contracted to call and say after review we will t work with them and wait a few more days to have a company put in a claim to be told it’s not covered sure use this company.

This is the worse service and the biggest waste of money. They declined my claim based on the fact that the issue was caused by normal wear and tear so is not covered. Stay away from this and save your $40 + a month. This is flat out stealing. Almost a year making paymnets and first claim is declined not even a a good explanations. Ohhhh i also had to pay the $75.00 fee to get someone out there.

Doesn't keep up the promise. AC stopped working. Reported a claim and confirmed that the technician will contact in 4 hrs. but technician scheduled an appointment for the next day. Called CHW and requested them to send immediate assistant since we have infant at home. They said it is upto the technician to come and perform the service. Totally dissapointed. Will need to look for a better company.

Customer service and claim management services are the worst. The technical they hire comes after 3 days, they also change the appointment at the last moment. Repaired my refrigerator 3 times and could not fix it. When you call the claims manager she won't return your call or email. Customer service team will not able to help they will just escalate the issue. But this does not help. So be aware of this before you want to sign with Choice Home Warranty. I won't recommend them.

Don't be fooled. If you see a company with as many 5 stars as 1 stars, chances are that the 5 starts were purchased. This company business practices are unprofessional and unethical. They will do their best to deny your claim. You will spend weeks dealing with them. They will offer 1/10 of a regular price reimbursement if you bring your own technician. STAY AWAY if you don't want many headaches.

Choice home warranty is a big scam. They will deny your claim for any major repair. They will find something in the fine print of the contract to say it will not be covered and you are on your own. I will not be renewing my policy and will discourage anyone who ask me about signing up with them. I definitely do not recommend this company. Make sure you read the many negative reviews before you consider buying. Try not to make the same mistake a lot of people including myself made.

This is a very bad company, actually it is a scam. First, they alway deny your claim. Then, when you call them and fight with them on the phone, they will said that they will provide 200, 300, or maximum 500 dollars to have you. And then when the money they pay for you even to your pay, they will deny your claim without any reason. I was a customer, and any time I think about my mistake to buy home warranty from this company, I always angry. Never buy anything from this company.

I had problems with my refrigerator that started in June of this year. It took two weeks to get a technician out to attempt a repair. After three attempts at repairing the refrigerator it’s still not working. It’s now August and the refrigerator is still not working correctly. After talking to the rep for choice they will no longer pay for any repairs or replace the refrigerator. The reason given is that the item that’s broken isn’t covered under the warranty. I would consider going with another company if your looking for a home warranty.

Read their policy document before purchasing. Any major issues you claim for, chance are they are going to decline your claim. When my garbage disposal stopped, they denied saying it was due to some foreign object and is not covered. I fixed it by rotating it with simple tool. Now when the AC went off, they said its due to water damage and that is not covered per xx section of agreement. I wont recommend to go with this company.

If I could give them less than one star I would! My parent's refrigerator stopped working and they sent someone out, the repairman told them it was their compressor. When my father called Choice about them putting in another compressor they told him no, they would not pay for a new compressor because there was a hole in one of their hoses and that it put a strain on the compressor which caused the compressor to stop working. The repairman told my dad that is an out and out lie! He said, there was no hole in your hose they are trying to pull something over on you! Total crooks!

If I got to worry about getting my stuff fixed why I going keep paying you for. It was hot and I had kids in the house but they found a way to got out of covering the part repair. As of Tuesday, 2 business days later, I've had 11 calls from this company asking me to purchase additional coverage, extended my coverage beyond a year, or to purchase home security coverage, of which I say no everytime! Stay a way from these crooks there advertising is misleading and they don't do what say. They come up with every excuse in the book not to pay your claim. My a.c. unit went out and the tech could not believe how good of shape the unit was in for it's age.Choice told him to replace the compressor but do to the age there was non available. So choice came and said the condenser was rusted and that's way the compressor failed and all my years I have never seen aluminum rust .So please look elsewhere for coverage.

I placed a claim on a AC not cooling. They denied the claim saying it's not covered because it's excluded from the coverage. They cover nothing . Their customer service reps were trained to scam people. They don't cover any of your appliances or any items. This isn't a home warranty company. A/C repair of 15 year old blower motor failure because of claim that filter was dirty, when if fact the service tech never removed the filter to inspect it , The filter had been in place for about one month. It was not dirty! Stay away from this company as they will do anything to deny a warranty claim. Of course a 15 year old blower motor will likely fail but they did not take that into consideration if their hast to grasp at anything to deny warranty repair. They bought in multiple service groups until they got one that would agree to claim improper user maintenance.

I would give zero rating If there is a zero available. I purchased two 3 year contracts for two properties. I had two claims, one was for water heater and the other was for ac condenser. CHW denied both claims. For water heater they denied because of the tank leak (it was due to the age of the tank, but they don’t care); for ac unit, they said because of the electrical current caused unit overheated, they denied the claim (according to my ac technician, the old ac unit has this type of problem).

ZERO STARS! The absolute WORST. Every claim I submitted was denied! The customer service agents are the bottom barrel. It sounds like you are speaking to a prison release work program. The last straw? They couldn’t find the parts to repair my microwave oven. They come back and deny the claim saying that I abused the machine, after they couldn’t locate the parts. I wish I had taken out a warranty against being ripped off. And the irony? When they called me, it would show up on Caller ID as “Scam Likely!”
