We were searching for private insurance and got an estimate. It was so much higher than the other companies that we looked at that we went with another company.

I never felt a strong connection to anyone from BC/BS. It was just a bill we paid every month. Very little costumer service.

They have a decent spread of low-deductible and high-deductible options, and were the most affordable for me.

I had blue cross blue shield for most of my life and I honestly think they are one of the worst healthcare providers. They have the worse coverage and the most expensive plans.

I have been fairly impressed with the service from BlueCross BlueShield. The price is competitive and there are a lot of providers within network.

Blue Cross Blue Shield customer service needs service. They are difficult to work with and more eager to deny a claim than to fulfill their contracted obligation.
