I had to call with a question about a prior authorization for a procedure I'm having. I was on hold for over 20 minutes just to have the associate transfer me to someone else. They then tried to transfer again. The call dropped when the second associate tried to transfer me again. I was very frustrated with the service.

Very good insurance in network.., but if you need to use it out of network. Please be careful! They have good rates and have a great selection of doctors available!

Had BCBS for one year because our insurance at work changed. Did not like it at all. Too many problems with coverage and even had to deal with unpaid things even after we switched insurances the next year. Too much of a hassle.

We had blue cross for many years until I switched jobs and it was no longer an option. They were always good to pay our claims in full and on time!

We had BCBS for one year and couldn't wait to switch health coverage. The billing and customer service were just horrible. It was such a hassle to get them to pay for things that they should of covered in the first place, and even with that I feel as if we paid way more out of pocket then we should have.

Though the rates are higher than I would like, they do gave great coverage for my needs and have been fair when I needed extra medical care.

Started with them because it was what my employer contracted with. They provided a good service. Has got much more expensive as all insurance has.

They deny claims without reason. I confirmed coverage for two providers only to have the claims denied. Even worse I wasn't aware of the denials until several visits later.

Joke of a company. Constantly change policies and make it impossible to get the medication NEEDED. No help at all or explanation. Avoid and find a better company.

You pay more out of pocket with deductibles, and what you are responsible, plus the costs are very high from your paycheck.

They make it seem like the cover so much and come with a heavy price tag. They do cover quite a bit but not entirely and not what you expect them to.
