Pricing and Policy

What consumers will love most about The Bouqs Company is their easy pricing schedule. There are no hidden or confusing fees for a simple bouquet of flowers. Almost all of their flowers have the option of just a $40 flat rate price. This is the price they will see at checkout. For the value and the flowers they are getting, this price is substantially lower than most of their competitor's prices. They provide over 100 different floral arrangements. Each of the 100 plus types of arrangements has at least three different size options available. They also do special event, wedding, and business floral arrangements. They provide their customers with a "Happiness Guarantee" that covers late delivery, quality issues, short vase life, and inaccurate flower composition and/or notecard. They also accept returns within 3 days of delivery.

Freshness

Flowers are cut on the day of delivery, guarantying freshness. The flowers are being cut from high quality farms which naturally rich soil that is kept moist from volcanic snow. None of their competitors can say that about their own flowers.

Customer Service

If a customer is ordering any of their California bouquet arrangements, they have the option to receive the flower the next day.

The Bad

  • Selection
  • Gift baskets

Selection

Their selection is not as large as some of their competitors. They have a limited amount of flower bouquets - around 100. Only about 50 of their bouquets can be delivered next day. None of their volcanic flowers can be delivered next day.

Gift Baskets

The Bouq Company does not offer any selection of gift baskets. Their products are strictly limited to flowers and floral arrangements. There are no candies or fruits available on their site. Their customer service telephone line isn't available to customers on weekends.

The Bottom Line

Although their selection may be slightly smaller than some of their competitors and they do not provide the option of gift baskets, The Bouqs Company is one of our top recommended flower delivery companies. They are more than fairly priced, their product is of the highest quality, and they make the check-out process as simple as possible for their customers. They also have a large following of happy customers; they are highly rated by both customers and the press. This unique take on flower delivery is a definite must-try for those looking to send flowers to a friend or loved one.

This was my first time ordering from Bouqs, and it was for my wife to celebrate the birth of our child. I scheduled the delivery well ahead of time to surprise her on the big day...but then nothing arrived. When I checked the package location, it was across the country from where we live. I spoke with customer support and shared all of our context/details, but they weren't very helpful: they'd fully discount my next order but wouldn't provide a refund for the delayed -- and likely wilted -- order of flowers. We finally received the original flower order 4 days later in a totally smashed up box. Next time, I'll use another online service and/or a local florist...I would sincerely suggest you look elsewhere, as well.

Hi Scott,

Our sincere apologies for this frustrating experience. This is not the kind of service we want you and your wife to have, especially on this wonderful event - celebrating and welcoming your baby! Your experience means a lot to us and we could've hoped the flowers were delivered as scheduled and helped brighten up your family's day. Thank you for reaching us at customer service - we do see that one of our supports has refunded the order in full. We hope we can meet and even exceed your expectation in the future. Congratulations on your bundle of joy!

Sincerely,
Anna@TheBouqsCo.

On April 16, 2021, I placed an order for April 17. On April 27, 2021 I placed 3 orders for May 8 for Mother's Day. On both occasions, on day of expected delivery, the orders' status did not change, stayed as "Pending" and I reached out to TheBouqs to inquire. Both times they claimed that there was an issue with my credit card. After the April 16th order's experience with my credit card, I used a different credit card for the April 27th. Yet they claimed both orders had payment issue. The orders display as "Pending" and not once has it ever said that "Payment Declined" "Order Error" or anything similar. Not once was I contacted by text, email, call. Yet they spam me with promotional texts and emails. On May 8th, I spoke via chat, with an "Dranje" and they said that my credit card company should have contacted me that my payment did not go through. And I questioned, why would a credit card company contact me for an order that did not go through? And they had no answer. I questioned the status of the order on their web site, and they had no answer. I questioned why was I not contacted in regards to my payment, and they had no answer. They said I should place a re-order and use Paypal or ApplePay, and not use my credit card(s). In summary, they ruined four gifts (1 birthday and 3 mother's day gifts) and offered no solution. After two failed orders, I will no longer order from them, nor will I ever refer them to anyone. Note: I am/was not a first time customer. I had placed 13 previous order and I had a one time, a monthly subscription for a year with them. But after today, I will never buy from them again.

Used The Bouqs to order flowers for my mom's birthday, and pay extra for Saturday delivery so they'll be there on the day. Which seemed like a good idea until they didn't show up, which I didn't find out about until SUNDAY!!! So not only does my mom think I ignored her birthday, but I got to pay extra the privilege of the flowers not arriving. Oh, and no one bothered to call and tell me they wouldn't arrive, so I could at least apologize to my mother in advance. When I talked to customer service, I was offered a mild apology and CUSTOMER CREDIT!!!! The Bouqs is THE WORST!!!! Never, ever to be trusted.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Do not use this company. I've dealt with this company twice and both times have been a bad experience. First, I ordered for Valentines Day and when I received my flowers, they looked very different from the image that was posted online. My girlfriend even agreed on this. Second time, I received a promotional card from them stating "FREE FLOWERS" in big bold capital letters on the top and a statement saying "Enjoy sustainably grown blooms on us!". Sounds great right? When attempting to use the promo, I was still being charged $24 for the flowers. I contacted customer service and the only thing they offered me up was a smaller, cheaper, bouquet of flowers for $4 instead of $24, STILL not free as their advertisement would lead me to believe. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES.

Hi Neil,

We truly apologize regarding with your bouq that has arrived in less than you'd expected and also for the confusion about the ads. This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. Note that, flowers may not always look the same as the picture since nature is unpredictable they have the tendency to change in shade or color.

We highly appreciate your time in giving us honest feedback! We will look unto this matter in order to serve you better in the future.

I am extremelly dissapointed with the service provided by this company. Not only did my flowers arrive 3 days late, by the time I received them - they are wilted and absolutely not what my boyfriend paid for. I understand that Valentine's Day is a busy day... but if you confirmed delivery for the day, it is not acceptable to tell him on the same day, the flowers are not arriving. Also, it is even less acceptable that by the time I received them, they look and smell horrible. Even though, you told him his money will be refunded for the flowers being late, and even offer a ridiculuos voucher. The least that could happen is that the flowers would at least look like they were as beautiful as you advertise them.

This morning I recommended this company to a friend to get flowers for his wife on Valentine's day and I am sorry to say I wish I never did! After placing the order he found out his wife took the 14th off at work to surprise him. Unfortunately this is where he was sending the arrangement to surprise her. After hours chatting online and on the phone trying to just change the address for the delivery, or at least cancel the order to order again,he was told he was out of luck. They could and would not do anything to help him. After only a few hours after placing the order he was told "it was too late to make ANY changes to the order" not even just updating an address. I am shocked at their lack of service and compassion for their customers. They made no attempt to be helpful in the least. I will never recommended this company to anyone again, and I strongly advise no one purchase their product.

This is my first time ordering with bouqs. I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday to be sent to the school where she works. The delivery status through Fedex said it would be delivered by 3pm which is the latest I needed it to be delivered by, since that is when she leaves work. The flowers weren't delivered until 3:17pm, after she had left work. I saw afterward in the FAQ on bouqs.com that work deliveries can be delivered as late as 5pm. That was not specified when I ordered the flowers. If I had known that, I would have just had them delivered to my house. You expect top notch delivery when paying top dollar for flowers, but that was not the case. I sent an email telling them of my dissapointment and their response was that Fedex work deliveries can be delivered as late as 5pm. Again, none of this was specified at the time of the order. You are paying a premium for sub par delivery times and poor customer service. This is the first and last time I will be ordering from bouqs.

I am a long time Bouqs customer going back to the beginning of 2016 and have placed 30+ orders with them. Several of my most recent orders have had issues such as FLOWERS DAMAGED, FLOWERS OF POOR QUALITY, MISSING FLOWERS... As an organization BOUQS DOES NEED A LOT OF HELP. There is apparently NO QUALITY ASSURANCE when it comes to orders going out to customers. Bouqs needs to get their QA and level of customer service in check to show they are a company that actually cares enough about their customers to make sure their orders are correct and of good quality. As of now, thay have shown me they don't care about the customer. I hate to write this bad review, but BOUQS truly deserves it. Good bye and I hope your service improves for future customers.

I recently purchased the orchard Bouq. The pictures shown on website are nothing like the bouquet you receive. All pictures while purchasing are of Bouqs including fillers, that you cannot add in at any point. They send a completely different bouquet to you, than they show online and all of their social media accounts. It ruined my present to my grandmother. She lives in another state and has been going through a rough time. The bouquet we thought we were sending would have brightened her day. This Bouquet that she received sent a completely different message to her. I inquired about the difference and was told the fillers were to make the bouquets look more attractive. I have gone through multiple emails and they refuse to give me a refund. Even though their website says happiness guaranteed or money back. Will not shop again

I'm seeing a trend with customer service for this company as I make my rounds through the various review sites - "we dropped the ball" and other clearly scripted responses to customer complaints...curious I ordered the "Always" bouquet of 36 red Rose's and the white vase. I wasn't expecting a mirror image of the picture on the website, but I wasn't expecting the garbage my wife received either. The flowers have browned leaves and are already limp. Customer service says to pull off the "guard petals" and "give them time" to, I guess, get pretty. I guess DIY flower arrangement is a hidden perk of doing business with this company. They look absolutely nothing like the picture and I could honestly have done a better job with the knockout roses and wildflowers my wife grows all over our property. When I got the shipping notification with a FedEx tracking number I knew something was wrong. Why would a local florist need to ship via FedEx? Ok, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and pressed on. Sure enough, the flowers were delivered and they were as underwhelming as I had feared. Of course they offered a measly $10 refund (but it'll take 7 days, sir, sorry!) And of course I took it, but that's the least they could do for completely, wait for it .....dropping the ball on this special day for my wife. I've been making the rounds to different sites posting my story hoping it will ward off potential victi...I mean "customers" of this company that is clearly not quality driven. They dont care about your special occasion. Just about the money they can net after giving you a small refund on flowers they overcharged you for anyway. Be smart, dont be like me. Buy local

Terrible service and product. My original order was placed and I received shipping notification when the order was sent out. When the flowers where not delivered on the scheduled date that I had placed them for (friends birthday)- I immediately reached out. Was told by customer service that they where “unable to fulfill your order” and that they “dropped the ball on this one”. I was immediately refunded and the agent sent out my original order request right away. Fast forward 4 days- my friend receives her flowers..... rotten, muddles and smelly!!! They looked absolutely disgusting. How embarrassing and disappointing. If only I was able to post the pictures

Ruined our anniversary! Ordered a very expensive Bouq. Arrived on time but what they sent was something totally different than what was ordered. You cannot call customer service, you have to email them. Their response (after me sending several pictures of the received flowers was, we guess we sent you the wrong thing.....but we're out of what you ordered, so what can we do? We'd be happy to send you something else next week...which would be after our anniversary...I asked for a refund as well, and their pat answer was we can only solve one problem at a time. I have ordered from Bouqs many times and I've had two bad experiences. The first was when I ordered flowers for my grandfather's funeral. I chose the specific day and they didn't arrive on that day, but they arrived a day later after the funeral when nobody was at the funeral home. Luckily, my family was able to pick them up. They offered me a credit to my account which I accepted. The second just occurred and it was the same issue as above. I ordered them again for a funeral for our family and provide 1.5 weeks in advance and again chose the day of the funeral. I didn't receive an email on the day of the funeral stating the flowers had arrived. I called Bouqs and was informed they were dropped off on 7/10/19 (they were supposed to be delivered on 7/9/19) and was signed by someone at the church. I called and spoke with the pastor who said nobody would have signed for them since nobody has been there. He called me when he got back from lunch and he found them sitting in a closed box out front of the church in the sun. Nobody had signed for them, so I'm not sure where the staff person was obtaining this information from. I was refunded my money, but that's really not the point. If Bouqs offers a specific day for delivery they need to be delivered on that day. I don't the flowers I ordered for a funeral to be delivered the next day. That's pointless. Please work on delivery of your flowers. I will not be purchasing any flowers from Bouqs moving forward. They have some work to do.

For my mom's 80th birthday I ordered flowers from bouqs. They arrived shrivelled up, brown, with many petals having already fallen off. When I asked for a refund or for them to resend the flowers, the response I got did not say they would do either one - instead it demanded proof of what I was saying in the form of photographs. Good thing I was visiting for the birthday or else my mom would not have been able to take and send the pictures. At this point I said I wanted a refund so as not to have to go through this again. I got back a response saying they would give me store credit but not a refund. I've concluded that sending flowers in a box is not a good way to deliver them and that if I were going to order flowers to be sent in a way I wouldn't do it from bouqs.

I would run, not walk away from this brand. I ordered an original bouquet of Asiatic lilies for my aunt's funeral, whom I cannot attend to, because I am ill and it's in another state. My mourning family received the bouquet as completely closed buds. When I got in touch with customer service, the person had no empathy whatsoever, and proceeded to say that the bouquet is supposed to arrive that way. However, the advertising is very sneaky - despite the ad showing a picture of a full bouquet of flowers, there is a comment at the BOTTOM of the listing (As the rep coldly pointed out), which you may not see if you are ordering from a small device, like a cell phone. It says at the very bottom that the bouquet's flowers will arrive with closed buds. There are also pages in the website that assure that the flowers coming from florist partners will arrive "In full bloom and arranged to a designer's touch." Mind you, there is no clear designation in the website advertising, as far as which bouquets are coming direct from farm or not, and what that actually means. Furthermore, wouldn't a direct-from-farm order be considered a "florist partner"? Seeing as there are many similar reviews of dissatisfaction, the owners must be aware of the discrepancy, but decline to provide clarity or a transparent website. Going back to the customer service rep, he flat out denied helping me in any capacity until I continued to push, and I still didn't receive a refund, only an opportunity to place another order with Bouqs using a credit. What a horrific way to treat a sensitive issue. I may as well mention also, that I had placed an order with Bouqs about a year ago, with the same issue; closed peony buds, however, they never opened and browned. I guess shame on me for giving the brand another try. I for one, will use the aforementioned credit on myself and run.

Flowers arrived by FedEx before 10am and the box was carefully opened to find 2 broken flowers. All the stems were very dry. I trimmed 2" from each and filled the cheap tin vase with fresh water. The tin vase was too short for the flowers and I had to find another vase for them. I sent 4 photos to Bouqs chat and they will not send new flowers. They wanted more photos but disconnected the chat before I could send them (less than 2 minutes). Their web site says: "Our Happiness Guarantee means we stand behind our product and experience. We want to be sure you're happy with Bouqs.com and our flowers!" It's just a marketing gimmick.

1 in 12 orders fulfilled properly Georgetown, TX

I've had a series of bad orders with this company: Last mother's day, 1 bouquet out of 3 showed up on time. Multiple orders for varied stem bouquets were SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the pictures on the order, as well as stem count being an entire tier off. Multiple orders with delayed delivery, causing the flowers to be a hot, sweaty, melted mess upon delivery several days late. Multiple orders had roses with some type of mold or with rose spots, broken stems, and even flowers completely broken off of the stem. The last straw was a complete lack of fulfillment for my mother's day order this week. I placed the order well in advance, tracking information was entered when the bouquet was supposedly shipped, then the delivery day came without a delivery. I followed up the next day to be told that the order wasn't shipped. There was no notice given to me, days later, until I inquired. Furthermore, after more than an hour on hold with customer service chat (phone is only available during the week), I had 2 reps 'hang up' on me and finally received a partial refund. There was no remorse, no attempt to improve the situation, or to find a replacement bouquet for Mother's Day, despite a ton of advertisements for same day or next day Mother's Day deliveries. I was told they could have an arrangement out by the end of the week! I'm frankly shocked this company is still in business. I have had 1 out of about 12 orders that was fulfilled appropriately, on time, and with the actual tier level of flowers ordered.

I received trash that delivered to me yesterday by Bouqs.Com because my daughter spent $85 as she ordered flowers to be delivered to me for the mother's day. But the flowers were dried, withered, dark, and the leaves were dry, yellow , dropped, and withered. I was so disappointed with received this trash for my mother's day. It was $85 from Bouqs of LA California. I was wondering why did you send these withered "flowers" or dried tree branches to moms during mother's holiday. Do you have mom? Did you give these dead tree branches for your mom's mother's day? It's too bad experience! No Bouqs.com anymore!!

Last Mother's Day in 2018, I was so excited to find Bouq's as they described themselves on the web. We ordered several orders of flowers to arrive over the days before and after Mother's Day thinking our mother would be so delighted. When they arrived my mom was distressed as she knew they must be expensive. She immediately went to the website and tried to find an 800 number to call Bouqs and tell them the state the flowers that arrived but was unable to find one! The first two shipments, Vibrance and Pegasus were puny and super skimpy - the 12 count of the sunflowers included the stalks of greenery(i.e. 5 sunflowers and 7 leafy stalks(!!!) and Pegasus arrived withe no hydration protection. Both orders predominated with brown buds and dry stalks. We are used to sending and receiving boxed flowers and know the blooms are intended to arrive closed, and my mom hoped to revive them by immediately placing them in water and cutting their stems. The third order, the irises, arrived as expected, they were beautiful. There were 2 more more shipments to come and I cancelled them b/c 2 of the 3 that arrived were awful - and my mother felt terrible about it. Bouqs refunded the orders that I cancelled before they shipped, BUT refused to refund the first two extremely disappointing orders that instead of uplifting and delighting my mom on mother's day created stress and more so in Bouqs' requirement to send a photo to them of their very poor deliveries. AVOID AVOID AVOID Bouqs - unless you want to make someone feel bad.

The website sucks you in, but let me assure you that what you receive will not be what is pictured on the website. I ordered the flowers with succulents (specifically for the succulents) and not only did it not come with any of those, they sent generic flowers that were not even the colors on the website. Had to file a PayPal claim which they managed to get denied. So I'm out 64.00 for my mother's birthday...the succulents were an inside, personal gift....the reason I ordered the bouquet. So. Complete loss of money. Complete frustration over not getting what I paid to have delivered. And having absolutely no recourse to get my money back. I wish I would have read the reviews.

Spent almost $100 dollars for a partially dead, very small flower arrangement. Spent about 10 minutes trying to locate a number to call customer service. Once I called, I spoke to three people before I was told to take pictures of the product and send it back via email. Since I sent a flower arrangement to another state, I had to ask the poor recipient to take time to take the photos, attach them to an email and then send to the customer service department. I followed up two hours later and was told nothing came through. I then download the photos and sent again. No response. Followed up Saturday, of course office closed. I really wish my 92 y/o grandmother had living flowers for her Birthday today. But instead, a company has my money and offered yet a way to resolve this. Best part, they new it was a birthday... and they know they delivered dead flowers. But... who cares.

Please don’t waste your time ordering flowers from this company. My husband never order flowers for me but wanted to surprise me for Valentines Day. My flowers never came to my office so I had to call to ask where my flowers were. Come to find out my flowers never left the facility. So, my surprise was never delivered and I had to spend my time finding out what happened and why the delivery never took place. After many emails, messages and phone calls I was told by their representative they will cancel the order and give my husband a credit but then I didn’t get the flowers he ordered as my Valentines Day gift and she was willing to just leave it at that. I told the representative that was not acceptable and she offered to deliver complimentary flowers next week to my office to make good on them dropping the ball. Well, today I got my flowers in a box and after opening the box the flowers were brown, wilted and dead. So, again I had to take my time out of my day to email them. After, getting an email was told this is normal and this is guarded petals and to remove those petals and the flowers will bloom and be fine. Never in my many experiences of receiving flowers was I told this was normal and to remove the guarded petals that were brown and this company making excuses for dropping the ball not once but twice. This whole experience has been a complete waste of my time, frustrating and a huge disappointment and disgrace on their part to ship flowers with this poor of quality and professional to a consumer. I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. Worst experience I have ever had with receiving flowers. Sad part this they want to make excuses instead of finding a solution and offering to resend the flowers for this horrible experience. Shoppers be aware! Order your flowers else where and save your money, time and experience and select a different company!

Don’t buy here unless you like to arrange your own flowers. This place is pathetic , they shipped me a bunch of flowers covered in mud, leaves and thorns unarranged. And I’m not over exaggerating, the rubber bands and bags were still on the flowers like as if they were picked up at the grocery store and left on my door step. On Valentine’s Day I was fuming. My boyfriend spent 88 dollars plus shipping and tax to receive an absolute joke. They have no contact number, only online email support and when I tried to write to them they wouldn’t repond. Literally a scam website. You’ve been warned.

20 Years using ProFlowers and they never once missed Valentines or Anniversary shipment. The first time I use Bouqs and it was the worst experience I have had. They confirm Valentines shipment date. It never shows up. I check at 4pm and the shipment tracker now shows the next day. They did not inform me it would not make it. I tried to call and they shut off their phones on Valentines. I went on chat only to get the generic "It is not our intention to disappoint you" answers multiple times. I asked for a refund and he ended the chat session. After another session, I received the same answers and was told it would be late. He finally refunded my account and I am off to the store to look like that idiot that forgot to buy his wife flowers on Valentines day. I will never use them and will spend the next week trying to make this up to my wife.

I ordered flowers tried to cancel the next morning they said it was to late I then wanted it rerouted they said that was to late as well. Even though it wasn’t actually picked up from Fedex for two days after they processed it. Going forward they were delivered on time but came with the heads broken on all the Daisy’s. I then complained they offered me a 10% discount on my next order woopty do. I complained again they then offered me the amount I spent towards my next order not a refund or replacement. I had a 40 dollars off deal through my bank so the amount I spent which was 35 won’t get me a replacement or much of anything with delivery and what not so in the end I paid for damaged product and the only help they are to getting things right would just still cost me more. I’ve had other issues with other flower companies in the past and they always offered me replacement or money back. This company is the worse when it actually comes to making sure customers are satisfied. I will never use them again.

Bouqs.com confirmed that my delivery would be the day before Valentine's Day. In the end, they did not deliver at all. They sent me a confirmation email that my flowers were on the way. However, they never arrived at my wife's work. It ruined her surprise and ruined my gift. I went online and they finally confirmed that the flowers were NEVER to arrive. After about 20 minutes of back in forth, I was finally told that they would deliver the flowers a day after Valentine's Day (two days late) or refund my order. They would not be compensating me for any of the inconvenience. I prodded for a discount or some sort of offer to demonstrate that they understood that they breached the buyer/seller agreement. They offered 10% off of a future order. That is it. I asked for next day delivery - they said it was not possible. I went over to ProFlowers.com, got a next day delivery in 4 minutes, and then proceeded to ask for a refund. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I even tried to walk them through appropriate steps to take to make it right. But, they refused to listen to reason and instead allowed me to go to another company. I understand businesses make mistakes, but they should also be in the business of making it right. In fact their website says "we will make it right". Bouqs.com fell far short of their own mark, or really any mark for decent customer service.

I ordered two bouquets from The Bouqs Company. For the first, I needed to reschedule the delivery (multiple days before the originally scheduled date) and was told that was not possible. That first bouquet will be a waste since my friend isn't there to receive it for a few days. For the second bouquet, I ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered to my mother following knee surgery. The Bouqs delivered something to my mother, however, it was not what I ordered and the card was directed to another customer who had cancer. Luckily my mother reached out asking if I had tried to send her flowers or I would never have known about the mistake. To incorrectly send someone a message addressed to another person that references the person having cancer is beyond unacceptable and could be devastating to the recipient depending on the circumstances. I immediately reached out to Bouqs customer service and was told they'd given me a 50% credit for a future order. I have now messaged them multiple times explaining that I do not want a credit, I want a refund given that the product I ordered was not delivered. The latest message from Bouqs says that they have removed the credit they gave me and asks if I want a refund. It remains to be seen if they will actually refund me. The entire experience has been completely unprofessional. I will not use this company again.

I would give one star if I could! Awful service and product - I ordered from The Bouqs and paid over the odds for these overpriced flowers because I supported the message the company was giving. However, I was extremely disappointed, the flowers I ordered were initially due to arrive for a special occasion but were late - with no update as to why the delay and when they would be delivered. Upon arrival, the bouquet was much smaller than advertisised - half the number of blooms and most frustratingly the whole bouquet was dead! Every flower and leaf was wilted, naturally some genius decided that water was not required in the package when sending flowers! Will never order from them again

I'm a law student. I ordered flowers for my professor. The experience was a nightmare. I specifically wrote my law school campus address so that the carrier (they use FedEx) would not make the mistake of delivering it to the mail center located at the main campus. This is exactly what happened. I had to leave campus and go to the main campus. Luckily, I had my car or else I had to walk over 1 mile to get there, and haul the package back on a rainy day. Once I got back, since I had decided to use my own vase, I opened the box; ready to assemble it myself. Once opened, the presentation of the flowers was horrible - there was no presentation. They were bundled up. I thought they would be laid out in rows. The flowers were still in bud-form -- all of them (depending on how you look at it, that could either be a good or bad thing). The stems still had manure debris (which I can arguably understand). I ordered from The Bouqs Company because I believed in their message. Their flowers, as they claim, are cut on the day that they are delivered. Also, buying from them helps small farmers grow their businesses. Once I was done, the bundle of flowers (or should I say bundle of buds) just did not look good -- and I was not the only one who thought this. The comments made at the registrar's office gave me a hint that I was right. I hope they look better when they bloom -- :( .This whole experience was tough for me. I tried to minimize my time spent on this gift by ordering flowers instead of getting my own and assembling them myself. I thought I would just to have plop them into a vase (the vase ended up being too small to hold the 60 or so flowers, btw.) I paid almost $83 for this! Not happy. Never doing business with them again.

Hi Tamana,

We are truly sorry for the stressful experience you had with your professor's gift Bouq. Thank you for believing in our mission to support small farmers. They work hard to ensure that our Bouqs customers get beautiful flowers however we do have to count on our shipping couriers to carry out the last phase and the delivery routes, times, and methods are up to each driver.

Because our Bouqs are farm to table, many of them, including our tulip arrangements, are cut straight from the farms and will arrive in bud form. This way, the recipient can enjoy the flowers for their entire vase life. We realize they may seem underwhelming at first but many of our customers are amazed by how they bloom! If the tulips haven't opened in next few days, please reach out to us at, so we can make things right.

I bought a subscription to bi weekly flower delivery as a christmas present. I received 2 email confirmations that flowers will be delivered on Friday, December 21st. On Saturday, December 22nd i had to chat with customer service since they do not have live support over the weekend, since flowers were not delivered on December 21st. Customer service told me that my order will be delivered on January 4th instead!!! 20 minutes later I got an email from someone at bouqs with the transcript of my chat telling me the person on the chat made a mistake and my order will be delivered on MOnday, December 24th. I have been on hold for 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone and i finally left my number for a call back so. 4 hours later no call back. I am SO horrified, shocked, and embarrassed by the state of the flowers that arrived today at my mom's house for her birthday. I should also mention that no one bothered to ring the doorbell and they were left outside in the rain. I ordered the grand cornucopia but they were anything but grand. For $115 she received 5 tulips that were closed. What makes me even more upset is that this is my 2nd time using the company and of course the first person I sent them to (my godmother) would never tell me how terrible her flowers were. I am in awe and would never recommend anyone use this company. I also wish I had read the reviews more closely as this is not uncommon.

I attempted to use the Bouq's to send my boyfriend's mom flowers for her birthday in September. The flowers never arrived. The Bouq's offered to send replacement flowers and I agreed. Those flowers never arrived. At that point I gave up on the flowers and took them up on their offer of a refund. No refund appeared on my account. I contacted customer service after the suggested waiting period, and they claimed the refund had been processed Oct 2 (several days earlier). I then contacted PayPal to see if they had any record of a refund. They did not and filed a dispute on the charge on Oct 19. The Bouq's has not responded to this as of Oct 24. I would NEVER recommend this company. I have never experienced customer service like this. Not only did they fail to deliver flowers on time, they failed to deliver the replacements as well. They seem completely unbothered by the fact that the flowers were never sent and seemed to think the refund was my problem to sort out. Seriously, use any other company - especially if you actually need the flowers or don't want to have to fight to get your money back!

I recommended Bouqs to my mom in sending flowers for my sister’s birthday. Since she is out of state, we wanted to surprise her with a beautiful bouquet. We chose a lovely bouquet (Harvest) and paid for the vase and delivery which was approximately $100. The “bouquet” was delivered on the promised date, but when we asked for her to send a picture of it - we were horrified of the “bouquet” that was actually delivered. It looked nothing like the bouquet pictured on the website - instead looked like someone had thrown in some cheap grocery store flowers into a vase - nothing arranged at all!! It was just loose random flowers too little to even fill the plain vase. We were embarrassed that our names were on it. Then contacting customer service was difficult - no number readily available (red flag!) and when we hunted it down, the issue was not solved quickly or satisfactorily. My mom had to upload and send pictures, plus having to email several times to get a response to our issue. She was eventually refunded for the flowers but she STILL had to pay for the plain vase and delivery ($40). So they really do not stand by their “100% satisfaction” guarantee. I do not recommend this company on two points - quality of bouquets (awful and cheap) and customer service (lacking and inexperience

I used to think very highly of this company but they have turned into a customer service nightmare and have become undependable. I ordered 3 dozen roses from Bouqs to be delivered to my daughter in Colorado on her graduation day. They were sent to Pennsylvania due to an error by Bouqs. That was four days ago. I have emailed, chatted and called countless times and have been blown off and ignored on this once in a lifetime event. I've been promised a call back over and over and it has never come. Bouqs outsources their customer service to foreigners in other countries and no one is capable of doing anything. This is much like many other large US companies trying to save money and not caring about the effects of future business. They ruined this special occasion for me so I will NEVER be using them again. Additionally, I sent out an email blast to 8000 folks in my network of which many have used Bouqs before as well. Maybe me never doing business with them won't affect them but I am pretty sure a couple dozen people I know and received my email won't chance using them again either so I'm back to overpaying for flowers where I can at least fix a problem when one occurs. Very disappointed in these people. Way to go Robert H. !!!

I ordered a bouquet of Peonies for my mom for Mother's Day, when they arrived, the flowers were brown and pretty much dead. When my called to tell them how they had arrived, she ended up talking to 4 different agents, no one would send another bouquet or credit my account. She even sent pictures of how the flowers arrived. After many different agents, they only offered a $90 store credit. I called today and finally got a refund for my purchase. I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother's Day - they arrived with no card (I had written one to be included with the arrangement.) and apparently included pieces of plastic hot glued to sticks. Not only was I unhappy with the arrangement - I was honestly embarrassed. I complained to the company who assured me the plastic pieces were "loofah" and a central piece of the arrangement (funny that wasn't mentioned when I purchased) and offered me $15 dollars off my next order - of which there will be none. In addition to all of the above the actual flowers that were included my other described as anemic.

Spent over $70 to send my friend what I thought what a gorgeous, beautifully- designed bouquet. What she received were entirely different, ugly, flowers slapped together that I never would have ordered. It was embarrassing. When I complained to Bouqs customer service and sent them a photo of the actual bouquet, I received he curt response, “flowers may differ from the actual photos on the website.” Well, then why take representative photos at all? Why not just take a photo of money being flushed down a toilet? Insane they can stay in business by defrauding the public out of their money. I used them because I trusted the Shark Tank PR and that Robert on Shark Tank would never put his name on a company that was basically a scam hidden behind pretty hashtags and Facebook ads. BUYER BEWARE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. You’re better off calling the local florist and rolling the dice - in any case, it will definitely be a cheaper mistake.

Beware! This company is a sham! I received a bouquet as a gift. None of the flowers were as pictured online. Most of the flowers came wilted, drooping and brown. The rest were carnations. I sent an email with pics to the address on the delivery sleeve, and got an automated response advising that the email address is no longer monitored, and it provided a new address to use. Wrong! Each attempt was returned undeliverable. I called the customer service telephone number and spoke with someone "off shore" who didn't have a clue. He then referred me to the help section on the website. After about a dozen emails back and forth with "John T.", he offered me a credit on my next purchase. I declined and requested a fresh bouquet. After another dozen emails, he agreed to send one at no charge, scheduled a new delivery date and time and sent me the confirmation. Guess what? No flowers. He did, however, MAKE AN UNAUTHORIZED ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD, which I have disputed. There is now no response to my further inquiries with the company. Save yourself time and aggravation. Shop elsewhere.

Terrible! Ordered subscription service every two weeks. Received one amazing shipment, did not receive second shipment. Was credited after 3 emails that did not address my issue and one phone call. Received one shipment that contained far less roses than the photo I paid for. 4th shipment was wilted and broken throughout the bouquet. Emailed customer service to.let them know why I was cancelling my service received and odd vague email back about how these are not arrangements that I would have to cut them and place in a Uh huh...i know! The bouquet is technically arranged and how can you make an arrangement with broken dead and wilted flowers. Stay away from this company. They do not send fresh flowers as promised.

Are flowers came frozen. Rock hard frozen. As they came out of the box they were falling apart. I sent a email to them within 15 min from getting them from fedx I also sent picture 6 hr later I was told they could not see they’re frozen. To take a better picture of the frozen parts. 1st 6 hr later they would not be frozen. 2 nd my wife threw them out because they were making a mess. The two pictures I sent was flowers that you could tell were dead and the second was the cut off of the stems were you could see the shine of the ice in the stem. We live in New York and it was 22 outside and if you put plants outside and it get to cold they die. The same with the flowers. Also I order triple the flowers. I was surprised to find them packed Separately so after my wife took out 2 I asked if there was a 3rd and she said no. In my two email with Bouq she never addressshe also never said anything about my clams of them being frozen in till I made that the main point. We revived them at 10:15 a.m I sent my first email at10:30 am. At 8:00 pm I was asked to take a second picture showing them being frozen. We happen to heat are House I think you could almost defrost a turkey in 10 hr. Also they never said we are sorry to hear that you have a problem. I also told them I expected my flower to look like the picture that I picked them from. So if I was you I would save your money and time get them from a real flower shop.

I worked with customer service to see if they would honor their Happiness Guarantee before posting a negative review. Suffice to say they do not have a Happiness Guarantee. I ordered a Grand Farmer's Choice package for Valentine's day. This shows pictures of several different flowers that the "farmer" will pick for you. The Grand option is the most expensive option with 36 stems. Unfortunately, I just received 36 roses. This was very disappointing because I was anticipating getting several different types of flowers. After several back and forth emails with the company, they just pointed to a small disclaimer hidden behind all the vibrant pictures and alluring descriptions that say this order may consist entirely of one type of flower. Okay, so I got duped by the small print. Now I feel like an idiot for getting taken advantage of. However, I was definitely unhappy and they have a Happiness Guarantee, right? Wrong! I've ordered flowers online from several different companies. This was my first bad experience. So far I would recommend any flower company but this one.

This was my second, and last order with Bouqs. I will never order from this company again. The first order of flowers arrived a bit late, extremely expensive, and dead. The flowers sat in the sun too long and arrived dead for my daughter's birthday. This, my second time ordering, was a funeral for a friends brother. I ordered the flowers and they were supposed to be delivered the day of the service. A week after the funeral, I am just finding out they are on their way?!?!?!? What? This company cannot get it together. I have written several emails to get this issue resolved, and an apology is nice, but it doesn't fix the problem, or give me back my money. $100 for a bouquet is high for something the family will never receive! I DO NOT recommend this company...ever.

I ordered a $65 deluxe bouquet of pink garden roses. The deluxe is the middle classification, one step up from regular and one step down from the Best bouquet classification. The picture showed beautiful blooms that resembled peonies, very open and very feathery and the vase was just packed. What ended up arriving were 10 small, crushed, and just about dead roses. I put them in the smallest vase that I own, which usually fits a dozen roses beautifully, and these flowers just look awful- there's just so few of them and they are spindly and tiny, no where near filling the vase. I don't expect them to be on the stems in the morning when I get up for breakfast, I have a feeling we're gonna have a countertop filled with fallen petals. This is my second order from them, the last order was the same thing, just about dead and small. I can get better at the local supermarket for a fifth of the price.

I wanted to try out their service so I placed a subscription order where they pick and send flowers every two weeks that are suppose to be unique and from volcanos or so they advertise.. I received an invoice at Friday 6:34pm with their selection of flowers they were going to send. They were UGLY and looked like carnations that had been dyed pinkish/purple. YUCK> I emailed back at 8:30pm that same night and they said "It was TOO late to cancel". Really> they weren't even sent and were arriving on Thursday which was 6 days LATER. They cost $55 for a bunch of dyed carnations that were ugly and suppose to be "lillyflowers". RUN from ordering from this company. Once you place an order you CAN'T cancel it nor any refunds....BAD for Business-Just plain BAD !

I've used The Bouqs before, always great UNTIL THEIR NOT. Then Mothers day 2017 ordered 4 Dozen roses,They arrived edges were brown. By Wednesday over HALF were DEAD!!!!!! Contacted Then and they gave me 50% refund. Terrible Company to treat any Customer like this, Especially someone that orders from them on a regular basis. Save your Money. Go to the local store, So you can see what you are purchasing. I WON'T BE BACK Update - So after threatening to leave poor reviews and leaving poor reviews I have received a full refund. It's really to bad that's what it takes to get good customer service

I have the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company twice, yet I suppose if I was stupid enough to try a second time it's my own fault. This most recent time, I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife's employer for her birthday. After the first failure last Valentine's Day, I made sure to order weeks ahead of time and even pay Saturday delivery. Checking Saturday, they weren't even close.. in Tennessee when we live in Pennsylvania. No delivery Saturday. No deliveries on Sunday. She got them early Monday and they were dry and wilted, then I had to look up contact information as after 5 emails and an escalation, they were still denying my refund. These flowers are not cheap either. Such a frustrating and disappointing experience. Oh, but they do give me credit toward future purchases.. not so much.

I ordered a bouquet from Boqus a few months back that were DOA at that time they issued me a credit for the cost of the order. For mothers day I ordered a $100 bouquet for the wife using the $85 credit and paying the rest on a CC. The flowers that arrived were thin and had not bloomed I questioned Boqus and was told that is how they are shipped and to wait a few days for them to fully bloom. I took photos each day and after 5 days this is what I have for $100 I contacted them again and demanded a full refund and was told they are sorry and for my trouble I can take a 15% discount on my next order.

I had an order that was due to be delivered between 9am-1pm on May 15th. When I checked the order progress tracker on the 15th, I noticed that it was a few hours past 1pm and was still in the stage of being put together by the florist. When I reached out to customer service (several times) I only received a single response notifying me that the delivery was picked up by a florist courier and untraceable. When I followed up the next day, I waited hours to only be told that the delivery was not processed correctly and never even made by the florist. *This was an order placed to make up for a Mother's Day order that Bouqs' systems did not process due to an internal error (per customer service.) Oddly enough, after the first mishap, they promised that this type of error NEVER happened and they would fix it for me. If only customer service actually responded to my inquiry about this latest order sooner, or even at all, I would have been able to cancel the order and tried another floral company.

Avoid this company at all cost. My daughter ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day with a Saturday delivery. I got nothing on Saturday (or Sunday) and was really disappointed that she had not sent anything, even a card. I got a call from her later that day explaining that Bouqs didn't deliver them on Saturday as ordered but when she followed up they told her they would on Sunday. When she saw that hadn't happened either, she explained all of the customer service issues she encountered. Finally, the Tuesday AFTER Mother's Day, I got a box with colored roses, the very last thing she would ever have ordered for me. (I don't like roses because they die too quickly, as I know these will because clearly they send left overs of their Mothers' Day bouquet.) She had ordered something totally different and it was supposed to include with the flowers a plant that I could pot and keep. Seriously, what flower company can't deliver for Mother's Day, one of the biggest flower days of the year. Horrible service and outdated product.

I purchased flowers as a gift with a groupon. That process was cumbersome and I had to contact the company via email to get it straightened out. Then the flowers were delivered and were awful. The recipient followed the directions provided by the company, but two days later, the flowers still looked lame, a joke of a gift that cost $75.00. If you want a nice looking gift of flowers.....one that you will not be embarrassed to have sent....DO NOT use this company. And finally, they have something they call their "happiness" guarantee....which is worthless. After my 4th email back and forth with what were "canned" email responses, they offered me a $20 credit. Which, based on their prices would barely cover their shipping cost ($15.00). I declined same and cancelled my account. Lesson learned. I thought I was a savvy consumer, but was swayed by the positive Groupon reviews. I should have dug further. I hope this review will help others as they traverse the murky waters of buying online.
