American Express is ok as long as things are going well — a major problem I had was customer representatives . Oftentimes I could barely understand them due to their accents ( outsourced) and some of there practices are shady . I once sent a 4000$ payment and they dropped my line of credit that amount - having never been late — I was livid

I really love my Delta American Express card. I earn great benefits from using it!! I think $95 yearly fee is super steep though. It’s the only card that requires and annual fee and that is a big con for me.

I have been a customer of American Express for years. My experiences with American Express have been good. I would like for their rewards program to add a cash back instead of just a credit. But a credit to account is good.

I have my blue card with AMEX and it has always been easy to use however whenever I need to use planet it never works and it’s difficult to get a promotion for a loan when you need it. Whenever I don’t need a loan it seems to be available which is a little inconvenient otherwise it’s a good card.

Rates are a bit high, and they're not accepted everywhere which becomes problematic and makes me need to carry a second card, but their customer service is great and I enjoy the perks.

AMEX used to be synonymous for customer service and perks. However, these qualities have gone down over the years. Their Blue card is no annual fee with cashback at 3% for groceries. Email status is great. You have to monitor your rewards, because special incentives are not always posted.

I have a good experience to use American Express card. It is safe to use even in outside of USA and the transaction fees are low. I also have a good experience for its custom services.

We love our Delta SkyMiles card. For a couple of years it’s no longer been accepted at Costco, but that’s been the only real downside! This is my go-to credit card.

My limited experience with American Express has been good for the most part. I have the Delta credit card, and my only complaint so far is that the value of a SkyMile isn't as readily accessible as I would like.

I have been pleased with my AMEX cards. I have been able to earn great rewards. The only downside is that you sometimes can’t use them everywhere. They have resolved any issues that I have had.

In the short time I have had my card I was able to earn enough miles for a free trip! The customer service is also amazing and I don't spend hours trying to reach someone.

We love the customer service and rewards given by Amex! They are such a great credit card company to use. Don’t love annual fees but we usually steer clear of those cards.

We had an American Express 15 years ago. We made payments every month. One month we completely paid it off and they cancelled the card with no reason. We were very confused and not happy. We have now had an American Express for a few years and are happy with our current experience. My only complaint now is that some places don't take Amex.

American Express is all about the vendor and not very customer (consumer) focus. We basically got scammed and called AMEX to cancel the card and switch. After they sent us the new card, AMEX still allowed the scammer to make charges to the NEW card!! what was the whole point of canceling the old card if you are going to allow them to continue charging the new card? I had to contact the attorney general to get the matter resolved. AMEX is all about letting merchants charge all sorts of fees and then go after the consumer no matter if its correct or not. After a quick search, I discover there was a big class-action lawsuit against American Express. PLUS this is the worst credit card to get as MOST merchants don't take it. Never again!

Love my AmEx delta sky miles card. Have used it to fly free to several destinations. Wished the points to fly weren’t so high but beggars can’t be choosers. I’ll keep using mine as my go to card.

I had an Amex for my business. The rewards are great and I got some help from an employee of Amex on how to run my payroll through the credit card for even more perks.

Opened up a card with them during a $0 transfer balance promotion. I've done so with other credit card companies as well, but appreciated the simpleness of Amex overall.

I like American Express because they have some good incentive programs when signing up for the card. It is a little bit more difficult to use the card internationally.

I have the delta card through American Express. I’ve been happy overall with no issues or problems except the occasional merchant that either doesn’t take Amex or charges an additional fee to use it.

We are big fans of American express. The customer service has always been so good. The only thing I hate is that we have to wait until the end of the year to get our cash back rewards.

The card is good. the interest seems to be bit higher than other credit cares but as long as you don't forget to pay before the end of the month it's good. I have simple card and get a few points with every purchase. It adds up over time and eventually turns into a $25 gift card.

Rates have fluctuated but have been pretty steady. I use it a lot and having the sky miles on it has been great. They've been really easy to work with when my card is compromised or for any fraud activity.

I love American Express. Their benefits elevate the human experience. Their customer service is helpful. The annual cost is painful to pay but worth the expense to feel safe and secure with your money.

I had an American Express card for quite some time. I actually really liked the card and benefits but the yearly fees began to just be too much compared to my other 2 cards. I would recommend Amex to anyone who doesn't necessarily care about the annual fee.

I have always liked the perks with this card, but find them to be a little more expensive and a lot harder to use because not everyone accepts them. I still use this card and like it for the sky miles and the companion ticket.

Overpriced annual fees for a card with no added benefits. When I was looking for a card that offered great rewards I thought I had it with AMEX, it turns out that wasn't the case. The whole time I had the card I was underwhelmed. I would look into another card before signing up with AMEX.

I love my Amex card. Easy customer service and lots of benefits make this a card worth having, even with the annual fee. The rewards alone easily pay for this.

I have an American Express card but I only use it when I have to. The cost to have the card is too much. And many times they charged me for services i didn't request. I had to cancel the services several times before they stopped charging me.
