I've used Lyft on several occasions when flying into cities and not wanting a rental car. Using their app is super easy. I feel totally safe when I see the driver's picture and credentials in the car. Highly recommend Lyft!

Most experience have been really good. I would have rated it higher but last week at the Dallas Airport DFW our first ride showed up (for 3 of us)and her trunk was full and also the front seat. Couldn’t even think about fitting 3 people and luggage in.

For the most part Lyft is a pretty okay app. Typically the only problem you may run into would be that of security because sometimes the driver would not show up in the right vehicle, but will have access to drive you. Better security measures needed

Lyft has been there for a lot of my professional friends. I love how philanthropic the company is. However, I had one friend who lost her daughter and Lyft didn't take the necessary security measures to get her back. Not only was her daughter a minor who was somehow able to book a ride through Lyft, but this company refused to let anyone know where the girl had went "because of privacy reasons". It was awful. I wouldn't recommend this company for that reason.

I recently tried to use Lyft while traveling to another state. I found the app a little confusing compared to other ride share companies. I actually ended up canceling the ride because the app didn't make the booking instructions very clear. They refunded my money, but still charged me a service fee.

Lyft seems to be a better value than other ride-sharing companies. I do think they need to do a better job of controlling who and what type of car comes to pick you up because the caliber of cars/drivers is not the greatest.

Decent value but inconsistent. Fares, times, and even who is coming changes while you are ordering and waiting. I;m probably 60/40 on value of this over renting a car when traveling, but it's way better than taxi/shuttle/public. No value at home - the rates for even short trips are prohibitive.

In my opinion, the app isn't all that convenient and useful. Lyft works well if their GPS system is functioning. Sometimes they will have me waiting at a location nearby but the driver won't see me in time, which causes problems when you only have 1 minute to connect with each other.

I only used Lyft one time because it was a subpar experience. the driver was 20 minutes late and had a questionable personality. I didn't feel uncomfortable but he was just bit odd, which is fine. maybe it wouldn't have bugged me so much if the car had been in better condition. I just feel like if your job is to transport people that you should make sure your vehicle is in pretty good condition or at least very clean.

I've used Lyft here and there for years and haven't really had a problem up until now. I recently used them on my friends birthday, and a week later I noticed two extra charges on my card from them. I tired to dispute it. One charge was for $5.00 and the other was for $12.90. While trying to dispute it, they sent me a receipt from a ride I got in 2015, three years ago and already charged on an entirely different card, and tried saying that was one of the charges in question for $5.00. They never sent any proof of the $12.90 charge. Ultimately, they told me they couldn't refund me simply because they were made from my account, even though they showed me actual proof that one was a double charge from 3 years ago, and no proof of the other. I will no longer be using their services ever again

I like Lyft...not as much as Uber, but its a good alternative. Lyft normally has longer wait times and can be more expensive. It also makes you give a tip, whereas Uber does not.

LYFT is completely unreliable LYFT has the highest price with worst service. They cancel scheduled rides at the very last moment. Absolutely not reliable! On top of that if you try to call their customer support, you won’t be able to talk to anyone but you will get charged from your phone company for the calls. Terrible!

In Nov 2021 I had to get a job interview. The Lyft driver didn’t know how to use Google maps . The driver couldn’t find where I had to go then got frustrated and put me out of the car. My mom had to come get me and I was 2 hrs late for my job interview. I would suggest people save up and get a professional personal driver.
