We just switched off of state farm. They were fine but it was frustrating to have to meet with someone in person every time we wanted to make a change or have a question. I would much rather just jump on a phone or do it over the internet. Plus it is cheaper if you do not have a local contact. That is why we switched.

I'v had an account with State Farm Auto Insurance for 26 years. They are very timely with information and very knowledgable. I have enjoyed knowing that my agent knows my family and is helping with insurance needs as my family grows up. The only trouble that I have ran into is signing in online. I think the program was updated and I haven't tried it since. But I love that the website will allow you to pay the bill without signing in.

State Farm Auto Insurance is pretty helpful and willing to work with you. As someone who is under 25, insurance tends to be more expensive, but because I am in school and receive good grades, I get a discount. If you're a long-term customer, they will also work with you on pricing for new cars.

We have used State Farm Auto Insurance for two cars for almost 5 years and have loved the experience. The rates are reasonable and we can easily get discounts with good driving. The only minor complaint I have is even though we have updated our preferences multiple times, they can NOT seem to go paperless! We get so much mail from them that we've already received via email and only keep the yearly copy of our policies that they send us. So if you can get past constant extra mail and are a safe driver, definitely worth it.

I was with State Farm for over 20 years. I used them for EVERYTHING. Auto, home, renters, even to insure my wife's wedding ring. Never had to file a claim so I have no experience there. But out of the blue they started raising my rates on my car and home insurance. Out of loyalty I stayed with them but after the second year of my homeowners insurance doubling, I had to leave. I went to an independent insurance agent who wrote me with different companies and my monthly insurance bill went down 62%. I'll never be "loyal" to a company again. I wasted a lot of money before I left. Customer service was always top notch.

Have State Farm for Auto and Homeowners and they have been so great to work with. Had to go through claims a few times dealing with non-fault accident and they were prompt, though could be at times a bit disorganized. I easily escalated to management and between the supervisor and me, we were able to get the claims adjuster back on track and handling claims properly. But, you did have to do your part in keeping a tab on everyone trying to charge your policy. Good experience through a bad time.

Similar to my experience with other insurance companies, State Farm starts out with some great rates but then seems to slowly increase those rates over the next couple of years to the point that you have to shop around to get good rates again. I do like State farm and they treat you really well, and one day I will probably sign up with him again when my current provider gets too expensive

The agents are wonderful they listen to your needs and customize an insurance policy geared towards your needs and concerns. There's no cookie cutter policy here. Customer service is great either by phone or email and if they can't answer your question they will get back to you in a timely manner. I've referred family and friends to State farm and would highly recommend.

State farm insurance has some really friendly employees however when you do a quote through them they call you constantly and email you constantly for two weeks straight… I had to decline many phone calls from them during conference calls while I was working which was a little bit frustrating but I understand that they were trying to help me… Unfortunately State Farm is a good company and you can usually provide great rates but they were unable to beat Geico

They came out and met with us personally and explained how their insurance work and how mush we could save if we use their device which keeps track of our driving. It gives us a score on speed, braking, acceleration and something else from that we are able to get a discount depending on our scoring. We are very pleased with them.

I'm guessing not all State Farm Agencies are the same, because I've seen multiple offices where I live, each one with a different agent. So referring to the agent I have worked with, their office is difficult to get a hold of and get a response from. I had an issue with driving for 6 months using "Drive Safe and Save" to calculate how much my discount will be, but after 7 or 8 months I looked on the app and my premium increased to $100 more than I was paying! I called them and they couldn't explain why it increased, but at the same time I was driving more miles and also driving for Lyft so I know those impacted my rate. But overall, they should be able to explain why it increased, and they couldn't

Rates are competitive, the local agent is nice, office always willing to have face-to-face help. If one has a good driving record, the rates are just as good as online companies. We insure several cars, RV, and OHV dirt bikes, rental houses, and investment land. Our agent really works hard.
