Blue Raven Solar Reviews

Outstanding scheduling and communication at each stage; very knowledgeable techs and installers; when there was an issue everyone was very responsive and the situation was quickly addressed.

Putting in the system was painless, the process for setting up the contract was OK. The installation went fine. System looked great at the time. Over a period of a 18 months... I have a dead panel and Blueraven responds that we will have someone come out and correct that next week. OK... Nobody shows up. So I send emails and call and the next person acts like this is the first time someone is calling them. Someone will be out next week. NO SHOW!!!!! 3 Months later the guy shows up, put a different type panel on my roof than what I purchased and..... nothing. I call back and they say it takes a couple of days. A week later...I call back and they will send a tech out. No tech shows up. Ever. The panel is dead to this day. After installation support has been horrible. Over the last 90 days.... Last week I called in help because the whole system is offline and they tell me someone will be there "Tomorrow". No show. I call back and they tell me someone came out and let me look at the notes. I tell the guy, I have camera's around my property and nobody entered it. He then changes his toon and says someone will be out in 2 days. The guy shows up and literally reboots my system. Something I have done 8 times in the time they took to show up. He can't climb on my roof so what he does could have been done over the phone with me as remote hands. He says they will have to send out a tech.....3 week go by and no tech. Call BlueRaven and they tell me, "The ticket was closed after the onsite tech fixed the issue." The onsite guy has told me that he CANNOT fix the issue and another tech should come out. I asked why they didn't contact me when the system went offline because their sales guy said that they would. That they would know before I do. Their tech team tells me that they could not possibly monitor all the solar systems they have installed. He says this to a guy that literally monitors and manages Hundreds of Thousands of computer systems. At the beginning of this process I was happy with them. At this time, they will get no recommendations from me and I will be sure to tell everyone I know....do not use BlueRaven. If I could return this entire system and get my money back, I would. P.S. I reached out to Enphase, the manufacturer for another certified installer, and had a third party come out. They found and fixed the issue. BlueRaven....crickets.

Very professional and efficient. Taylor was great, installers were very professional. From start through turning the system on I could not have been more pleased by their focus on the customer.

Financing was a easy step and the salesperson was great. The planning and design was misleading but finally got to an approved design and the rest went smoothly. The ut -2 crew for installation was incredibly friendly and informative and very professional would greatly recommend them again.

Excellent service and quality. Installation team was professional and polite. Install looks clean, sturdy, and sharp. Will update on performance once final inspection goes through and power company flips the "switch".

Nice company, nice job quick and fast. All the member in blue Raven Solar are super nice and cool; Except at the step of Inspection JOSH, the guy doesn't have a professional speech, excuse me the term He has a rude intonation, voicemail need to be work on it and inappropriate verbiage to me as a customer. He can work on that and the company will flow in a good spirit environment.

My experience with Blue Raven Solar has been fantastic. They have been just amazing at keeping me informed to the steps and the time to expect for each step to be completed. Just impressed! Thank you Blue Raven Solar.

I posted a review the other day but forgot to mention the salesman that worked with us from start to finish. Mitch F is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and gets answers to your questions. Thanks Mitch.

Blue Raven employees were professional, clear about how the entire process goes and easy to communicate with. We are very satisfied with our solar panels and the easiness of the process.

The process was quick and they took care of everything. When it came to installation they crew was very professional and even was able to make design adjustments that the engineer did not foresee.

Had a great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend. The sales rep was friendly and knowledgable making our decision easier. Installation was quick and the installation team was nice, respectful and knowledgable.

Top notch service and sales. Everything was super easy to understand and everyone was friendly and helpful along the way. The install was fast and looks great. Thanks, blue raven!

The service has been excellent. Everything happened as it was supposed to. Mike P, the rep or sales person that first talked with me about Blue Raven, has always answered my phone calls , even a year later.

So far everything has gone great, the installers were polite and got there work done fast, I was walked through the boxes and now have to wait for inspection and meter from Idaho power

I just had the panels put in and they are not hooked up yet, but so far the experience has been fantastic. The Blue Raven installation team showed up right on time for the installation, and they were very professional.

Got my new solar panels installed two days ago, everyone is very friendly and professional. However they got docked a star because they were 1.5 hours late on the install, but they were very apologetic about the mis-communication.

At the front end they were great. They have a very clean and well laid out plan and are good about updating you at major steps along the way. I asked a lot of questions before signing the paperwork and early on in the process and the responses were clean and professional. My installation date was moved up to an earlier time (October 3rd, 2019) because they had an additional crew in the area. The install went fine and the crew that came in did a nice job and cleaned up well afterwards. Once they were gone, the problems started. I noticed that some of the panels weren’t communicating with the system. I called and they sent out a tech the next week. The tech told me that since I didn’t have permission to operate yet, they wanted to wait for inspection to be completed and then they would troubleshoot. The inspection was set for the next week so fine, I can wait. I get a call the day before from the Blue Raven inspection group saying that they want to push off inspection until the panels are in good working order. This back and forth nonsense goes on until mid-December when finally they decide to just go ahead with the inspection. The inspection didn’t pass because there was information missing from Blue Raven’s packet. I call and they are surprised that I didn’t get a packet from them but promise to fix it. Forward several weeks more and finally the inspection passes so now we can get the net meter install scheduled. By the end of the year, I have a net meter. I get permission to operate on January 6th and now I’m generating on 40% of my panels. There is a whole string (12 of my 20 panels) that still doesn’t work. I’m never notified of the next step until I call in. I’ve had 2 cancellations this month where I got less than 24 hours’ notice or no notice at all. Every time the tech comes out they claim noise or that they don’t know what is wrong. For the current issue which they say is noise (and possibly it is), they told me in December that they ordered a filter to install once inspection was complete. The claim for cancelling at the end of January was that they realized that they needed to order a filter so apparently they just didn’t feel the need to show up or call. Suggestions to Blue Raven Solar: • Get all of your departments on the same page. Early in the process I would get bounced constantly between the install team and the permitting team (and maybe others). One department would cancel an inspection or work citing the other group and wanting them to get their part done first. This went in a loop for some time with each one always delaying the other. • Assign an account owner (someone who you feel is with you through the whole process instead of getting someone random each time). It's painful to have to explain everything that has been going on each time I call in and nobody seems to feel a level of responsibility or have a grand plan other than to send out a tech. • Improve Communications. I keep getting promises that someone will call me back but I'll wait hours/days and still no follow-up. It's only after I call in that they move on any kind of next step. I have also had them tell me that a tech is scheduled for some date days away. That's great but I would still like to know when they're coming over to work on it. I shouldn't have to call in to get an update. That should be automatic. Emails or text messages should be able to be sent out when there is an update in the case and I should know what was being done to troubleshoot or what was found. • Have an escalation path. The tech they're sending could be very good or he could be not so great. If there are issues though, I feel getting more eyes on the problem is better than compartmentalizing. How about a group call with Blue Raven HQ, the tech, myself and maybe envoy/enphase to agree on a path forward.

Blue Raven was the first solar coming to coming knocking. My experience with the sales man was pleasant though he gave some predictions that have not come to pass. No one told me about the SolarEdge app so I didn't know when my system stopped working other than my energy bill saw no decrease. After calling the power company, I realized that they weren't seeing any production from my system. It took three calls to Blue Raven to get someone out to inspection the system. Upon inspection they found a part that had failed.

The sales and company reps made this process easy.Extremely happy with the installation crew friendly efficient and informative when we forced to reschedule 2X because of rain. Giving referrals to friends and family

Blue Raven has been a dream to work with. They have been very informative and walked me through all of the steps necessary. I have had my solar panels a year and I love the clean energy.

Dealings with Blue Raven have been ok. There were a couple communication issues but the installation work was done efficiently. The problem however, is not with Blue Raven. I would recommend them if they were not associated with LoanPal for the financing. Loan Pal sucks. Deceptive, rude, uncooperative and they lie.

We've had a great experience with blue raven, friendly sales rep, he explained everything and answered our questions. Installation was simple, now our power bill is almost nothing!!!!

We were extremely happy with the speed of the installation. The installers were very professional and knew what they were doing. They cleaned up and you wouldn't have known they were there. Half day install.

I vetted 5 solar companies a d Blue Raven had the most clear proposal. Easy to understand, based on data from my energy company, and clearly explained. From beginning to start-up of system they were on time.

They really helped every step of the way especially when my HOA was being unresponsive. The installers were careful with keeping things clean while they worked and tried to finish as early as possible

Everything from the sales process to the build out to installation went smoothly. I am so happy with my investment in clean energy and have had zero issues with my new system.

The installers were very courteous. They explained everything in full detail throughout the entire process. I'd definitely recommend blue raven to anyone looking into solar energy.

Good company, great work, shows up when promised and very friendly knowledgeable staff and crew. Very high quality work with top notch products. I will recommend to all my friends and family.

Very easy to work answered every question we had. After we have had the panels installed our bill went from $209.00 a month to $18.00 a month. We couldn't be any happier. Tim

The Blue Raven crew showed up installed the equipment promptly and professionally. They explained the equipment and operation of the eco smart thermostat. Next step is the inspection however great work today!

Blue raven did a wonderful job from the very beginning (qualification) to the end of installation. The system had been working great for the past 18 months . No complain at all

We have been very happy with Blue Raven Solar. The process was smooth and whenever we had a question or issue, they were very responsive. Installation was easy and our system is generating the amount of power we anticipated.

Great experience so far. I got my panels installed today, and the installers were very professional, and walked me through the whole process, and after the install they showed me everything I need to know.

Blue Raven arrived around 08:00 am. They worked quickly and efficiently and were mindful to minimize the amount of time the power was turned off. They cleaned up after themselves and kept us up to date on their progress.

Absolutely woukd refer Blue Raven to anyone looking for solar. I have their system installed on 2 properties and would reach out to them on future properties as well...clean look and install/activation was simple.

the solar system that we reinstall last November has been working really good of my power bill is dropped like 10 bucks a month I had to pay a couple of dollars there in August but other than that power is taken care of

I was a little confused with how the solar panels work but after the 2nd month of having them I am glad that I made the decision to go solar. Blue Raven Solar is a very reliable solar company. Blue Raven Solar has responded to any questions that I had and everything was done and handled very promptly.

It was slow going at first not due to Blue Raven, the city gave us some problems. Once all the issues were addressed it was taken care of quickly, I have seen quite a decrease in my electric bill when the weather permits.

Very formal. Had a little mix up when trying to reschedule and the materials were not ready on the earlier date. Also had the new thermostats installed when I denied them being installed but they were quick to correct. Very polite and courteous.
