Its always easy to find a rental truck of any size needed with Uhaul. The ability to pickup in one location and drop off in another is a huge convenience when moving a cross country. Their trucks are always clean and ready to go.

Had only good experiences with U hauls. Love their many options of transportation and their many different sizes of trucks. Rented a trailer to drive to another city and it got us there safely with our stuff and returning it was a breeze. Didn’t have to drive it back to the city we rented it from.

I was delayed when picking up a U-Haul trailer and stayed in contact with the store and they stayed a few minutes extra to make sure I could pick it up which was great customer service. However, the trailer I received was old and pretty dirty inside and I was considered about it damaging the things I was moving.

If you are like me and don't want to pay for a professional moving company and have friends that can help you lug around your furniture, UHaul is great! The trucks are easy to load and relatively easy to drive. The price is affordable as well.

This is a rip-off. They will charge you for services you did not use. Run far from U-haul and never use them. We used to be regular customers but we will never use them again. I rented a trailer for a one way move. When I tried to use it I realized it was too small and would not meet my needs. I returned it 1 1/2 hours after I had received it. I was told I would be refunded the time I did not use but this is not the case. They charged me the full cost of the service I did not use. They refused to explain any of this until many days later. As I said, never again!!!

Mostly good. Only complaint is they didn't have the truck at the pickup location I requested so I had to drive 20 extra minutes. Not much of a big deal.

It seems like wherever I go around the country, U-Haul is consistently a difficult experience. Something always turns out differently than you'd hoped, and not in a good way. The prices advertised are deceiving, they need a much better model to communicate what a customer will actually end up paying instead of blasting "only $20!" on the side of their trucks when you will very likely be paying $100+. The customer service is consistently terrible and the more avoided the better. However this isn't usually possible since something is always sure to go wrong.

Best place for propane tank refills. The trailer/truck process online can sometimes be intimidating but customer service helps. It is best to verify your requests. Follow up and make sure dates and sizes are correct.

I like how easy the mobile check out process was. It was pretty fantastic. However, I hated that the truck was somewhat dirty and I was asked to fill up the truck with more gas for a credit. I do not think that is a far thing to ask. Price was affordable but the truck I really wanted was not available.

The trucks are worn and tired. They do not repair damage from prevous renters. I am sure they bill them for the damage. You have to take pictures of all damage on the truck when you rent it and then upload them to their server. It takes about a half hour of your time. If you do not, then you are charged for someone else's damage.

UHaul is my #2 moving truck company. The reason being is their trucks are cheaper than the others, but they are not very clean. The box trucks are usually grimmy. Not a good thing for decent furniture. Very good for short moving distances and worth the money.

We had reserved a moving van online. When we got to the location to pick it up it was not there and we had to rent a different size. When we returned the van they said it was dirty and they would charge us for cleaning or I could go sweep it out. I opted to sweep it out. There was literally maybe a 1/2 cup of dirt that I swept out.

I used U-Haul to move 45 minutes away from my original home. The truck was fine and everything was great, it was just SO expensive to have workers help out for a couple of hours. It was not worth it and I just begged family members to come help. Like I said though, the truck was great.

Renting a truck from U-Haul is both convenient (a lot of locations) and affordable. Depending on the knowledge agent of the rental clerk behind the counter, the process could be very efficient or take a while.

I love the random facts on U-Haul trucks though I hate the fine print of every contract I must sign. Still, the sheer ubiquity of U-Haul gives it a leg up on competitors. They know you pay for that convienience.
