The rates they offered were pretty good. The problem was that they strung me along for 2 months on a refinance. It was a constant give us more information and give repeatedly. After two months, there was no more communication. FYI, I have a 800+ credit rating so it wasn't credit problems, they just dropped the ball. It happened twice about 4 years apart on two different properties. Each time I got handed of several times to new loan managers. I believe there might be a high turnover at this level. Both times, I ended getting serviced in half the time by other companies

Quicken Loans advertises as being the fast and easy way to get a mortgage. We found that to not be the case. It was hard dealing with them in submitting paperwork and needed documents. When I just wanted to sit down face to face with someone, that wasn't an option.

I reached out to use them for my new mortgage. i thought their pricing was not the best. They wouldn't work with me at first because of an explainable issue from years ago, but they had their policy that they wouldn't work with me. Then when they were willing to work with me, their rate wasn't the best.

Depending on the initial loan officer, the experience can be different. There are too many hands in one transaction and it gets confusing for the buyer. If the loan officer isn't on the ball, then the buyer doesn't understand who is their contact person.

I had a terrible experience with Quicken loans, their loan officers are incompetent and ignorant. I get paid annually but they couldn’t divide by 12 to understand a monthly payment. They wasted my time for three months. I found a mortgage broker that got me a lower interest-rate and a cheaper price.

What a waste of time. After almost 3 weeks of submitting the requested documents and after being told that I easily would get approved for a $xxx,xxx loan, and after requesting a totally unrelated letter from my CPA, I was told that I am not approved!! Don’t waste your time. There are many other much better lenders to use.

This is the worst company to do business with e going back-and-forth with all kinds of conditions at the end when time came to close they said everything is fine but all of a sudden they said then your income for the last three months of this year does not match the income for the first three months of the prior year waste of time and patience
