It's pricey; I think its very expensive, but what I liked was their ability to call the patient outside the home and locate them. I'm using the one that's wearable on the wrist; I don't like the pendant. I keep it on from morning till bed time. The customer service was great. I did have to use it once for 911, and they did respond.

I searched on the internet for the best company and their name was at the top of the list. They were very prompt; they caught us when we really, really needed it quickly. We got it plugged in and turned on, and it tested fine, and it's been sitting here ever since. Typically I sit here and look at it and check the time and the temperature with it.

I think it's kind of expensive. I have a friend who referred it to me, and I have accidentally hit the button a few times, but I've not had to use it for an emergency, thank goodness. One thing I have a problem with is that when I've hit the button and had to talk to somebody, it is so hard for me to understand what the other person was saying. I don't know if it's their voice, or what it is, but I have a hard time understanding because I do wear hearing aids. I also dislike having to charge the battery all the time.

I got some information about them from a brochure before I called them. I think it's a good service and certainly something that is needed. We really haven't needed to use it for an emergency, but when we test it, it works fine. Everybody has responded with great service, and were very nice. I think it was a good value.

The research we did at the time we got it made it sound like it would work for us, but we really haven't used it. My husband has the bracelet and wears it most of the time, but he can't get in to press the button, so he yells for me. So in that respect, it hasn't helped, that's really not what the product is for. He just isn't choosing to use it. Otherwise, it's been okay and it's been there in case we do need it.

I'm doing this for my mother. From looking at other services, I thought that they were the better of the ones that I saw. She just wears it around her neck wherever she goes. It works well, and they contact me quickly when she has any issues. They always answer the phone, and they've always been decent to deal with.

I got a phone call at around eleven o'clock in the night that my dad had fallen. It took care of everything, and alerted the these local emergency responders, and they were there before I got there. I haven't had an issue with it yet. I'm pleased, and they're very trustworthy; I would probably recommend them.

We just found them on the internet, and it's very easy to use and very easy to test. We've only had to call them a couple of times to switch the numbers over, and they've been very helpful. Thankfully we haven't had to use it yet, but my grandmother just wears it when she's home.

I've been very happy with it. It just seems pretty reliable and easy to use. I have it on all the time, so it never comes off when I'm taking a shower or something like that. I went online and saw that it was the number one company, and I figured that was I needed. I haven't had to use it, I just have to call it in to check it. They answer the call right away and they are always polite. I wear the one that's like a watch. I wish it was made out of different material; it's very uncomfortable on the arm sometimes, because I wear at all day and all night, but so far I haven't had any other problems with that.

Both my husband and I wear it most of the time around at home. Of course it doesn't work other than at home. A typical day with it involves exercising in our exercise room downstairs, and lunch and naps and not much else. Our daughter chose it for us, and we've had no problems with customer support or with the alert devices.

I based my decision on price and convenience. The thing around your neck is smaller than other companies that I had in the past, but I like that you can carry the main base with you out to the public, so you're covered outside. I think that's the best. I've just been wearing it. Sometimes it's hard to get through customer service and having a person ready to talk to you, but they were very helpful when I called, and the equipment came quite quickly, and that was really nice.

I think as you get older, you find that you need something like this. People get stubborn and think they'll never need it. I'm in my mid-eighties and I live alone, so that was mostly the reason I looked into it. It's good to have when you live alone. I'm happy with it, and it seems adequate for what I need. I haven't had to use it. I check it once in a while make sure it's working, but it's nice to have in case something happens. They call right back when I press the button to make sure it's working, so that's about all I need right now.

The adjustable necklace part of it keeps loosening up; it doesn't stay very well, but there's no monthly contract and it was easy to order. They've been very helpful when my Mom accidentally pushed the button one day, and they were great to her. She lives alone and she is elderly, so I wanted it to protect her in case she falls.

The customer service people were quite good and efficient in both ordering it and in setting the equipment up. When I looked it up on the internet, it had a high rating, and another nice thing about it was that you can just get it and plug it into the phone socket without having to actually be connected to the phone company.

My daughter was momentarily out of her office when she received the alert that I was being moved to the hospital. She could not get through to the number she was to call to find out what was happening because of the extended hold on the line. Fortunately her son in law who lives near by me had come to my house when he received the alert and that is how she found out where I was. She was on hold for about 15 minutes and gave up when she got to the hospital. This is not acceptable.

Although I've never needed to use this system for an emergency, all other contact has been positive. I recently had a power outage while I was out of town. I had to call medical guardian to reset my system when I returned. The technician stood by and instructed me while we trouble shooter and reset my system.

I mean, they have something to strap across my arm but neither that nor the cord on the necklace are very pretty...

I didn't chose it, my son went and found the best one for me. One time I pushed the button by mistake when I went out. When I returned, I realized that the emergency guy was on my driveway and that he had been sent out to make sure I was alright. Did some internet research before contacting them. They answered our questions to get it installed. They don't mess around. If you've got questions or issues, they generally deal with them fairly quickly. It's out of the way, and it does its job well. It provides my mother a certain degree of comfort. We've never had to use it in an emergency. We got it for my father before he died, and now for my mother. It's one of those things you hope you never have to use, but you want to have it there just in case.

I got it as a gift. We had a few problems at first but I imagine that was all because I was new and we were just getting into the swing of things. I usually wear it until 4 o'clock or so since at around that time it will tell me I need to charge it. Even if it doesn't tell me though, I put it back to charge for about 4 hours and put it back on when I go to bed. Whenever I call they are very fast and alert, I like that.

One reason I got it is because they had that door alert that I could have so that emergency services could come in and help me easily. I used it when I had severe pain around my chest. It could've been my heart, but I wasn't sure, so I pushed the button. They were very helpful and got the EMTs out here very quickly. I looked online and since I liked the idea of it and the ratings that they had, I got it for my mother. Every time we've used it, it has worked immediately. It actually went off this morning, I think my mother pushed the button, but I they were on it like crazy. All I had to do is call them back and say 'hey it's not an emergency' and they canceled the ambulance that they had sent our way. Recently though we got a letter in the mail with the annual fees. I didn't think that'd be due yet so I tried to call them and see what that was about but couldn't get a hold of anybody...

They were the first ones that I called and since they sounded good I got it for my mother. On one occasion she fell while getting up so we used the thing and they came out and helped her get back up. We've gotten the response that we needed. The only thing is that the unit is not always close enough to her when she falls, so she can't use it to speak with them.
