We didn't care for CenturyLink in our area for internet service. It was slow without options to be faster and went down too much for us. I had to switch away. I am sure they are better in some areas than others, but it didn't work very well for us.

We have used CenturyLink in the past, and it has done its job. Not exceptionally so, and there are definitely times when our internet is much slower than preferred, but most of the time it is handy and reliable

I do not like Century Link. I use the internet a lot in the evenings and on weekends and I feel like the internet service is so poor during those times. Their customer service department is saying that their service is the best, but it is not so.

We have Century Link as our current provider. We are at the end of a road, so the internet speed is very slow and unreliable. the upload and download speed is so much slower than what we pay for. However, there isn't much that can be done, so we just deal with it. I wish they would offer us better service.

We use Century Link currently as our internet provider. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's not the worst. I feel that their customer service lacks, and the quality is only sub par. I also have had issues with billing, and the customer service didn't seem to care.

We started off our internet service with CenturyLink. It seemed fine until early in 2016, we began to have problems with the internet dropping when the home phone line rang. We had DSL at the time so this should not have happened. When I called CenturyLink to get help, it was just a bunch of preprogrammed responses, push this button, etc... I never got to talk to a real person! This was extremely frustrating, and I tried more than once, trying different numbers, buttons, etc...So, when a Comcast representative showed up at the door, I was an easy sell.

Only have their internet because of where we live. Customer service is always a joke and not very helpful. The internet seems to go out way more than it should. However, they are better than Xfinity, so at least there's that.

Good internet speed for the price. I have a hard time getting good help whenever I call customee service. It has been hard to get a new router that is compatible with their network.

Century Link has been a good option for our family. The speeds seem to be nice when watching any type of streaming service and we never have a problem with outages. I would recommend them to anyone.

The internet service we had was good but the lock in plans that we were talked into were overpriced and we felt tricked with every customer service phone call. Always trying to push something on us like it was a better deal only it was just more money. We ended up switching to get out of the pressure.

We have used CentryLink for several years. It's not because we want to, it because they are the only service we have available in our neighborhood. For some reason, no other company offers service in our neighborhood, while they do to the surrounding neighborhoods. The service is amazingly slow. I've spoken with service personnel about this. They promise me the world and deliver me very little. For example, I called complaining that download times were painfully slow. The promised to upgrade me to an extremely high download rate. However, the problem is that they say that they cannot fix our internet service for this area to anything faster speed, so increasing my delivery speed isn't even an option. The deliver system apparently is not even in place to increase my delivery speed. I would quite using IMMEDIATELY if I had another service I could go with.

We had Century link internet a few years ago. I'm not sure if it was the area that we live in or what the issue was but our connection would get lost and we would have to restart our box on a regular basis. The range of our WiFi wasn't very good either and since our connection was in the basement it was hard to get a very strong signal to the upstairs. They came out a couple times to fix it but nothing really changed so we switched providers.

I had Century Link internet for over 15 years. I always only received 3 Mbps for my internet speed. Every time I would call customer service, they somehow made me believe it was on my end. I even purchased a new computer, thinking it was my older computer. I finally had an Engineer from Century Link come to my house. Finally, after all these years, someone was honest with me. He said you will never get better than 3 Mbps in this location. I switched the next day.

We recently moved and decided to try CenturyLink due to cost. The costumer service was great and the installation went fairly quick. But the quality of this company is not what we were imagining. We have had multiple internet issues including not being able to connect, being very slow and not living up to the good word they send to their costumers.

Broadband was all that was offered in my area from CenturyLink. The service was consistently not meeting the service levels we were paying for. The price we were paying on a promotion would double/triple after several months prompting us to have to call in to get the latest and greatest deal. After several years of service, you would think a company would reward loyal customers, but alas... they do not. It's very disappointing and frustrating. We cancelled service.

Century link is a solid provider but several times it has failed. It also can be difficult to find the network if you don’t rename it because there are often times many century links to choose from (which is good so many people have it)

We have had so many issues with this internet provider. Constant delays and connection issues. I'm assuming it is due to our location by the mountain side. They seem to be willing to fix problems every time they occur.

Just started new Centruy Link service in the Denver Metro area they offer a max of 15 Mbps - What a Joke!? Century link continues to disappoint in providing quality internet to people that depend on them. We are not given other options and CenturyLink knows it so they deprioritize upgrades. Pathetic greedy business practices.

Just as bad a Cox Communication. They are cyber criminals who have gotten away with illegally accessing their customers routers without permission or authorization. Do not trust any internet services in Las Vegas, Nv, it is a hack haven for cyber criminals who are suppose to provide a service not criminal activity.

I got kicked out of my house (long story) and had no choice, but to cancel and their still charging me for a month I didn't use! I wasn't even there to use the service! $75.00 for nothing. Might as well just start handing out money to companies who already make tons. DO NOT GO WITH THEM. They just see you as a walking dollar sign.

Not the biggest fan of CentruyLink. Their internet speeds are abysmal at best. When I go and visit my friends that have them as an internet provider, I use my cellular data because I am never able to load videos, and everything else takes a while. They do have good customer service though but it doesn't make up for the slow internet speeds.

One word: AWFUL. Do not sign up with Century Link. Customer service is the worst of any company I've ever dealt with. You are placed on hold for long periods of time and transferred to multiple people who don't have the skills to assist you. I suggest anyone thinking about signing up with them to reconsider.

They have too many accountants dreaming up ways and fees to charge people. You can ALWAYS count on your bill to be twice as whatever the price they are advertising. The customer service will be provided by people who are so ignorant of the company they will only tell you how your bill is made from pages of the Bible and you must worship it.

Honestly have no had a good experience. They havent upgraded our service in over 20 years, and we still receive rates of 1mb/s MAX. When asked if they will be upgrading units, weve received several responses with "soon." They could improve by updating their service, and providing atleast some decent customer support
