I am never flying AA again. In April I got stuck in customs missed my flight and was put on stand by for three days. NO FOOD OR HOTEL VOUCHERS and absolutely no help from customer service. I then had to purchase another ticket to get tomSan Fransisco. I had already missed two days of work.

Terrrible experience. I arrived at JFK 1 hour before my flight to JAX. They reaigned our seats simply because we did not check in online, put us on stand by, boarded us and then deboarded us. Terrible service and rude flight attendants from US Air.

You should be able to check 1 bag for free when flying international. You are staying longer and some items are hard to find when out of the country.

My family and I flew American Airlines last year we were disappointed. Compared to Delta who we usually fly with, the service wasn't as good, plane felt worn and unclean and the staff weren't friendly.

On a trip back from Panama, American Airlines refused to communicate with the customers and made it exceedingly difficult to travel. For example, American Airlines promised a hotel and breakfast due to 36 hour delay in travel, but when arrived at the hotel, we were asked to pay for all food and forced to split a room with others.

I am sad to admit it but the worst two flights I have flown were from American Airlines. One flight they even said they were out of snacks and drinks, so there would be no food services... what??? I would have gotten a drink in the airport had they warned me! I am trying to k no it fly America. In the future. Sorry for the bad review!

I’m indifferent about this company. I enjoy their cheaper flights but find myself always in some type of turmoil. My flights to Chicago were rebooked twice. Instead of the direct flight I paid for, it took 18 hours and 4 flights. Good luck 🥴

my first trip flying, american airlines delayed the flight for a whole day, leaving me stranded in a state by myself and wouldn’t provide anywhere for me to stay. poor customer service and even worse handling of a mentally ill individual. they gave me free food, which was nice.

I had an emergency surgery while on vacation and they wouldn't help adjust our flight back home. They didn't seem to care. We lost our money and had to repurchase. Always get the insurance on your flights from these guys.

The great thing about American is they fly almost everywhere. The problem is all of the extra fees for seats, bags, boarding early, etc. employees are often grouchy.

Every time I travel with American Airlines something goes wrong. There pricing can be fairly low, but it’s not worth it for the quality and customer service. I was recently on a trip where they canceled my flight twice because the lack of a pilot. American Airlines is slowly going down under, and I think their employees are realizing this as well.

Worst Airline I have ever flown with. Not only did they delay our flight for hours and hours they finally canceled it with no sign of apology or empathy sending us to a one person costumer service to handle our situation. The line was so long promising the experience to be more hours spent at the airport. It was a horrible experience but it was the lack of customer care that was the most upsetting.

I’ve flown with American one time and I probably never will again. Everything is pricey and the staff is not very helpful. They lost one of my bags and they were terrible at helping me locate it and did not provide me with contact information to get updates on my bag. Once found, they did not tell me where it had been.

I had a really bad experience with American Airlines. One of my connecting flights heading to Europe got canceled. They put me on another flight with almost 10 hours waiting at the airport for the flight. I missed a whole day in Europe. They then lost my bags. They claimed it wasn’t their fault that they didn’t pull my bags off their plane to be given to my new route. They didn’t do anything for me and wouldn’t help me. I went for 2 days without any clothes and they wouldn’t compensate me at all!!! I was patient and reasonable but they refused to take any responsibility.

I will never fly American Airlines again. Every time I've flown them, I do so because they are slightly cheaper then other airlines, and EVERY time I regret the decision not to spend $40 more to fly on another airline. They always have delays, their planes are old and cramped, and they are extremely difficult to work with when flying with children. And they nicken and dime everything now. I really do not like this company.

American Airlines was not a great experience. The flight was delayed both ways for mechanical issues of some sort. We sat in the plane on the runway for 30 min waiting for an an available gate when we landed. All in all it got me to and from my destination but I would rather pay a little more and have a stress free flight.
