The Good

  • Integrates with Other Apps
  • Variety of Fitness Trackers
  • Customizable Dashboard
  • Available at Multiple Retail Stores

Integrates with Other Apps

The Fitbit app integrates seamlessly with several other apps, including Lose It!, MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun. The app offers daily tracking and totals and calculates your individual average and how you progress over time.

There is also a Premium version of the app for the serious athlete, which features in-depth analyses of food, sleep, and activity that can be exported to be shared with coaches, trainers, or doctors. The Premium version will also recommend personalized fitness plans based on your results. And, of course, the app can be accessed from Apple, Android, and Windows mobile devices, as well as Macs and PCs.

Variety of Fitness Trackers

Fitbit offers a wide variety of fitness tracking options, providing trackers for a variety of lifestyles. Whether you want just to track your steps, sleep or more detailed workouts, Fitbit has a tracker for you. Ranging from $59.95 to $249.95, Fitbit provides quality products for a pretty reasonable price.

Listed below are Fitbit's tracking devices:

  • Fitbit Ace
  • Fitbit Charge 3
  • Fitbit Inspire
  • Fitbit Inspire HR
  • Fitbit Ace 2
  • Fitbit Ionic
  • Fitbit Flex
  • Fitbit Flex 2
  • Fitbit Versa 2
  • Fitbit Charge 4
  • Fitbit Inspire 2
  • Fitbit Versa 3
  • Fitbit Sense
  • Fitbit Alta
  • Fitbit Alta HR
  • Fitbit Force

Each Fitbit tracker is unique in appearance and offers different capabilities.

For example: Say you're looking for a simple device that tracks your steps, acts as a heart rate monitor, but isn't too big or eye-catching. You might want to look into the Fitbit Flex 2 (you could also consider the Fitbit Flex, but this may not be easy to find since it has been replaced by the Flex 2). This wearable device is one of Fitbit's slimmest wristbands and offers a variety of features, including the following:

  • Swim-proof — use it for swim tracking
  • Interchangeable accessories — removable tracker fits in bands, bangles, and pendants
  • SmartTrack — automatically recognizes exercise
  • Reminders to move
  • Call and text notifications
  • Auto sleep tracking
  • Silent alarm

The display isn't informative (you'll actually have to visit the app to view your daily activity), but the device is sleek and discreet. The battery will generally last up to five days but will vary depending on your usage, settings, and other factors.

On the other hand, if you want a wearable device that acts more like a small phone. You may want to look into the Fitbit Versa 2 and 3, or the Fitbit Sense.

The Sense is a smartwatch with advanced health-tracking capabilities. You can still track your heart rate and steps, but the device also comes with several tools for stress management, heart health, Sp02, skin temperature, and more. An on-wrist EDA Scan app detects electrodermal activity, which indicates your body's response to stress. The Sense also has an ECG app that assesses your heat for atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common heart rhythm irregularity. You can download hundreds of apps for fitness, sports, games, and more. The battery life generally lasts up to six days but will vary depending on your usage, settings, and other factors.

Overall it depends on what you want and your preferences. Luckily, Fitbit offers such a variety of products that you're bound to find something that fits your lifestyle.

Customizable Dashboard

A major advantage of Fitbit is its tracking software. The dashboard can be customized to quickly check the details you're most interested in.

Available at Multiple Retail Stores

The Bad

  • Proprietary Charging Cords
  • Need the Wireless Dongle
  • Large Recall

Proprietary Charging Cords

The downside of Fitbit products is the requirement to use proprietary charging cords; if you misplace yours, you won't be able to charge your Flex or One until you've bought a new cord (the Zip's 3V coin battery lasts six months).

Need the Wireless Dongle

Additionally, if you're syncing with your computer, you'll need to use Fitbit's wireless dongle. The dongle will plug into any USB port, but it's tiny and very easy to misplace. Replacement charging cords or wireless dongles are only $19.95 each; however, the costs could add up if you tend to lose things.

Large Recall

Fitbit issued a massive recall of its Force tracker in February 2014. After some Force users complained of skin irritation — specifically, allergic contact dermatitis to the nickel content in the core piece — Fitbit issued a voluntary recall on all Forces and offered consumers full refunds. Although the skin allergy affected only about 1.7 percent of Force owners, those that developed it experienced redness, rashes, and blistering where their skin had been exposed to the tracker. No skin complications have been reported with Fitbit's other devices, and the Fitbit Force is no longer sold by Fitbit.

gavel

The Bottom Line

Fitbit trackers are popular for a reason: they're comfortable, efficient, easy to use and come with the support of an outstanding app. Fitbit trackers are also compatible with almost any phone, tablet, or computer. This is a huge benefit in comparison to many of the tracker companies on the market, whose devices are limited in terms of compatibility — if you opt for the Sony SWR10 or the Samsung Gear Fit, for example, you may find yourself needing a new brand of tracker each time you upgrade to another cell phone.

Another thing we like about Fitbit is the variety of trackers available. There is a massive selection of wearable devices that offer a variety of features. Whether you plan on using your Fitbit for working out, tracking your health, or simply as a smaller phone, there is a device for you.

I would give zero if possible. I purchased the Versa 2 on Amazon and a 2 year warranty on Fitbit.com. The product was extremely inaccurate for step counting, only has specific music stream apps available, and I feel a difficult interface. I returned it to Amazon. I realized today that the warranty hadn't been refunded and contacted Fitbit immediately upon realizing I needed to request the refund due to no longer having the product. They denied my request as there is a 45 day return policy and today is 46. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told that the supervisor said they would send an email to address the escalation. Once receiving the e-mail, it stated to contact square Trade to communicate my issue; no contact information for ST was included. So m5 hours after initially contacting Fitbit I looked up ST and had a refund in minutes. Fitbit has extremely poor, insufficient, un-resourceful, super frustrating, time consuming customer service practices and personnel. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from this company again all because you wouldn't refund a warranty purchase, on a returned item, due to my request being 46/45 days from purchase. It's cool, Square Trade took care of me with world class treatment! Everyone I know will be persuaded to choose outside of Fitbit.

I have been a proponent of Fitbit products since 2014. I have had multiple Charges. I've had an Ionic (and a replacement one) and most recently the Sense. I have even had two of their weight scales. I have put faith in my ability to troubleshoot (with and without Support) and give the product and the company the benefit of the doubt by getting replacements and giving it another shot. I'm here to tell you I'm tired and absolutely DONE trying to support Fitbit. The product quality has gotten worse and worse and their inability to be accountable for poor product quality is embarrassing. The most recent group of products just stopped charging or turning on after updates. And, yes, I have done the updates as suggested and done everything to keep the product in its best state. But, I am constantly disappointed. My Sense stopped charging after JUST 4 MONTHS of use. Support was understanding but had no recourse for me other than a replacement (after the only 45 days of opportunity for a full refund). A replacement of a poor product is not worth my time and, frankly, it shouldn't be the consumer's role to replace your product more often because you made it poorly to begin with. Spending hundreds of dollars has only gotten me more time calling Support and waiting for my next shipment of a replacement to come in. So, long story short, I'm done with Fitbit. Buy at your own risk.

I have worn a Fitbit for years. Bought a new Fitbit charge 3 in March. Constantly had trouble with it syncing to my phone and mini pad. Then last week it started to do crazy things I couldn’t get out of. Finally got back to normal and when I recd a note to update I tried that — after 2 hours of waiting on update, I called Fitbit number and immediately got offshore person with all sorts of noise— others talking, etc. He sent me form to get new Fitbit— when I told him I didn’t have Facebook or gmail, he said someone would get in touch 5 days later I got email referring me back to original site which I can’t access. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I loved my Charge 2 and then my Charge 3 until it started having charging issues. It was still under warranty so Fitbit sent me a new one which had some syncing problems and then a few weeks later they put out an update to the app and it hasn't worked since. It will no longer pair with my smartphone. When I open the app it says "no internet connection" but all my other apps work just fine. Support basically told me to get a different phone or buy a Charge 4 but when I checked the community forums I discovered there are a lot of other people with the same problem and with a variety of different smartphones. No longer a Fitbit fan since at this point my Charge 3 is an expensive pedometer.

It worked in the beginning but the screen got cut off then I called and I had a warranty by the time they sent me the refurbished one which don’t work properly to begin with. I had to call them few times in order to fix it over the phone but neither of those times worked out and they were telling me to do the trouble shoot which it didn’t help. Long story short they dragged me until the actual warranty got expired. They are not behind their product and when they say we send you the new items don’t believe it’s NOT new they send refurbished or used to drag you until the warranty gets expired then you need to buy the new one from them. Not reliable neither honest company.

I would not even give Fitbit one star. I bought mine charge 3 last March. After a few months they had to send me a new one because it would not sync. Now mine sometimes will say I slept for less than 3 hours at night. It seems when I get up and then go back to sleep it only registers the first few hours. Not the last 6 hours!! I have called customer service a few times. This last time they said to change wrists when I go to bed, then change it back in the morning!! That is ridiculous to say the least. I don’t know anyone else who has to do that!! I played pickleball with a partner who had a Fitbit on and he took almost 4,000 more steps than I did and we were on the court together the entire time!! This is very frustrating to say the least.

Horrible customer service. I bought my Fitbit versa two months ago. It stopped reading my heart rate last month. I reached out to them because they offer a warranty supposedly, but now refuse to help me fix or replace my device. I keep getting some weird computerized response about how they will monitor the issue. I keep asking them to honor the warranty they promise, but they won’t. I’m super disappointed with my service and the product. I will never ever buy Fitbit again. Had I known they treated their loyal customers like this I would have never purchased this recent device. I am truly do offended by this awful experience and craftsmanship.

DO NOT GET A FITBIT! I purchased a fitbit versa for my husband last November. The device stopped working correctly by April. The times is off by 8-10 minutes. I spent 2 months googling and looking for different ways to trouble shoot the device. I finally gave up! I called Fitbit customer service to see if I can get a warranty exchange in Oct before my year is up. They gave me the run around and wanted me to spend MORE TIME on trouble shooting the device before they would consider an exchange. I have personally had an apple watch for 3 years and I have had 1 issue with the device. I walked into an apple store, they took the device and repaired the item asap and returned the item to me. As SIMPLE AS THAT!

I have had a Fitbit for four and a half years, from the Charge HR, to the Charge 2, and now the Charge 3. The product itself has been pretty good, minus connection issues as time goes on (the longer I have had each Fitbit, the longer it's taken to connect and sync with the app. Every time. All three generations. Until I had to replace it with the newer version.). However, my review is for the company itself. My account was recently hacked, I got a notice that my email address attached has been changed. I called customer service right away, because there isn't a 'click here if this wasn't you' button in the email like in most subscription based products today. They processed my phone call quickly, I was talking with a real person within minutes. That's where the helpfulness stopped. Their 'security department' can only be reached by email. Fine, I'll wait. Four days later, I finally get an email that my case is being processed. This should be a simple fix, I call and answer security questions and they update/change my email and password. Not so. Four days, and I call again. I ask to speak to someone in security, I'm told I cant. I ask to speak to someone higher up to get answers on why this will take so long and why I can't speak directly with security. I am told there are no higher ups. There is nothing I can do, no one I can speak to about getting back into my account that I have spent four and a half years building. All my sleep and heart rate data, my cycle, everything I have spent literal years working so hard to achieve and track- gone. Customer service there is a joke. I hope you don't ever get hacked because it's a nightmare to deal with. I haven't even worn my $150 product for the last week because there is no point! If it can't sync with an account, it can't keep track of my progress. Money down the drain. Years of work down the drain. I wouldn't even bother calling, they won't help you!

BUYER BEWARE!!! PLEASE READ MY ISSUE BEFORE YOU BUY A VERSA! Was given the versa 8/3/18 contacted customer support 8/16/18 because I COULD NOT GET MY VERSA TO TRACK MY WORKOUTS (BIKING ESPECIALLY). I have been in constant contact WITH THE COMPANY and asked how long I have to wait until I can get a refund or exchange. Was told exchange won't help because it is a problem on the companies end and they are working on it. WILL NOT REFUND $$ Now, it is 9/24 and my watch has never worked. I was sent this warranty at first from customer support:We would like to share with you that as per our limited warranty, Fitbit does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. IS THAT AMAZING...IT DOESN'T HAVE TO WORK! Then I was sent another warranty: Regarding the warranty, please take into account the following statement: "Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and Fitbit-branded device accessories (collectively, the "Product") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase". This statement refers to things that can't be fixed from our side or defects on the device. They tell me my problem is something they can fix, but have not been able to do that for 40 days that I have been asking. They will not refund my money. Just keep telling me to be patient. DON'T BUY NOW...WAIT UNTIL IT CAN TRACK OR buy APPLE OR GARMIN

Company does not support Android devices. During the year 2017 there were a total of 4 Android devices added to their compatible devices list, all of which came from companies that have competing wearable devices. Had a Charge HR that broke after less than 6 months of use, got the Charge 2 since the HR was discontinued. Device does not work with my phone because it is an unsupported device (LG G6). Fitbit has completely stopped developing LG phones after the G3, released in 2014. If your phone is not Samsung or Apple, you are probably one of several customers that has a device that is not supported. There is the outside chance that it may still pair, but functionality will not be complete. Contact customer service, you will get a run around, complete with email after email with copy and pasted answers from their guidebook, just the same as you will find on their message boards. These message boards are FULL of people openly complaining about the supported devices and their lack of development, but the only thing being done is more copy and paste replies, no actual development. Buyer beware, from this viewpoint it is an overpriced toy with no support, regardless of how great they think their customer service is.

Fitbits stop working for no reason or they crack and break and trying to get them fixed through customer service is a joke. They tell us to try something to get a fitbit that wouldnt sync to sync with my phone to see if it was my husbands phone that was the problem then the next time we had a problem they sent us to a specialist department to see if we would get a replacement because what the one person told us to do might have voided the warranty since it showed we synced it to a different account even though we unsynced from my account within 5 minutes of trying what they told us to do. They keep having defective devices and we and many of our friends with fitbit are out hundreds of dollars. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars to keep replacing defective products. Fitbit really needs to figure out what is more important..money or their customers. I understand companies need money but if they would have better communication and admit when their products are defective and do something about it thwn they would have more loyal and happy customers.

I really liked Fitbit unti l about a week ago when they changed their website and reduced the features that made them popular with users. Then on top of that they changed the main site that displays daily stats (called the "dashboard") to make it far less useful and very inconvenient. They have received thousands and thousands of negative emails and posts regarding these things. It is clear that once they sell a user a device they no longer care about that user. They consider that user a drain on their resources and something to be kicked to the curb now that they have the user's money for the device. A business model like this is bound to fail. Most investors have not discovered yet what Fitbit is doing but sooner or later they will. Fitbit is playing a losing game, depending on new purchasers to keep them afloat while getting rid of existing users. Do not buy into their game by purchasing a Fitbit device because you too will become disillusioned very quickly. Do yourself a favor and buy another company's device instead. Current users have lost health data they have logged for years - Fitbit deleted it. Hard to believe but, they did, they claimed these people took up too much of their sever space and that was that.

I purchased my first FitBit Flex over a year ago. I enjoyed tracking my steps, sleep, blood pressure, glucose, heart rate, and then journaling about the results, so I could report to my doctor, since I am a diabetic. Back in March of this year, I invested in the Surge, looking forward to the additional features, such as the watch, heart rate, miles, etc. What I didn't know, was that FitBit was discontinuing Journaling, Blood Pressure, Glucose and Heart rate, on the web site. I upgraded, on the website, so they had the opportunity to inform me of their decision to eliminate them. That way, I could have returned my Surge and invested in something else, or stayed with the Flex. I have asked them over the past month for a refund, since I do not really care about winning badges and competing with others. No response about the exchange. I'm getting an Apple Watch and suggesting everyone else do the same, unless you like winning badges and competing with people by paying $49.00 a year.

I have had 3 FitBit devices and was about to buy an Aria scale when they suddenly dropped a number of manual tracking tabs that were very important to me and a number of other users - heart rate, BP, journal, blood sugar levels, etc. These entries are critical to those that have medical problems. The company has been planning this "upgrade" for a year, but gave only 2-3 weeks notice to users and not all users received the notice according to posts on the company web site. There have been many complaints registered, some of which have been deleted when they become too critical. Instead of giving me statistics that are critical to my health, FitBit gives me cutesy icons to mark my progress. The last one was my Ferris Wheel badge for climbing 75 flights of stairs in one day. Now that is a really helpful symbol for maintaining my health!! Right now I have a very expensive pedometer. Not pleased at all.

My fitbit was so inaccurate. I would do a two hour workout and it would tell me I was active for 5 minutes. How is that possible? I two hour high intensity workout and active for only 5 minutes. I also noticed that when tracking my steps for the day, it wouldn't update right away so my steps were wrong. I was seriously bummed with this, I was so excited to get one and then after a few months it just was never accurate to my steps or my activity for the day. I have friends who post their fit bit updates and theirs seemed legit and right! Maybe mine was just the dud that didn't work right but yeah, my experience wasn't good. Just a waste of $.

I bought my fitbit charge from Amazon back in January this year. Had it 4 months and it quit charging. I wrote to Amazon and had a new (refurbished) fitbit on my doorstep in less than 24 hours. I was very impressed, however, the new (refurbished) fitbit was not tracking accurately and it did not come with the dongel to sinc to my computer so I have a useless fitbit with the wrong time and data. Contact Amazon or fitbit you say?..... I did and got no reply what so ever. Will not promote fitbit ever as I am out $130. Really, 4 months, I think it should last longer than that. Very disappointed customer.

I'm rating Fitbit as a company overall and not any particular products. I find their sales force very unprofessional, pushy, and arrogant. No willingness to deal with clients other than with a "my way or the highway" type of mentality. On a professional level, the decision to work with them was not in my hands. On a personal level, I'm so disgusted with dealing with them that I've ditched my fitbit and now rely on an OZO Fitness device. It may be lower tech, but I can at least buy in to OZO's excellent customer service and positive outlook.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered a Fitbit Versa 2 Limited Edition on cyber Monday for their discount price. Two colors to chose from and low and behold they wanted the other color, easy enough we’ll just exchange it. WRONG! No exchange policy, they wanted to charge me 7$ to return it, and then purchase the other color for full price. I spoke with a representative on the phone who was zero help and also a ‘supervisor’ who was even less help. No more Fitbit for us!

If Fitbits technology is anything like their customer service it’s atrocious. I never received the Fitbit I ordered directly from their website because they mailed it to the wrong address. And in two separate emails they said it was my responsibility to contact Fedex even though it was their fault for not mailing it to the correct address! A waste of time and money. Stick with ANY other brand.

I bought a Fitbit Versa that won't track sleep. I contacted support and they tried to troubleshoot the problem until my return period was over. As soon as my return period was over, they admitted its an internal error and their engineers are aware of this. So now I can't return the watch and just have to wait. It's been more than two months and I'm still waiting! All they say is that they're sorry and they have no idea how long it will take to resolve the issue.

If I cold give it a zero rating I would. I purchased the watch in March and had trouble with it since the beginning. It completely stopped working in July and waited a month (and many phone calls later) for a replacement. When it arrived it was the wrong one. I then waited and when I received the "proper" replacement it wouldn't hold a charge very long and stopped working after two weeks. So now I wait again. Customer service offered to send me a new one at 50% off!!! Why would I pay for another watch that doesn't work with the worst customer service ever?

Purchased a Fitbit Aria scale. Lasted 1.5 years and stopped working after the latest firmware update. Contacted Customer Support and confirmed this is a known widespread issue. As the scale was outside of the warranty period they were not able to provide any support and they have no repair options available. This level of product quality and customer support is completely unacceptable in this day and age. I will no longer be a Fitbit customer as a result of this experience.

I liked my Flex aside from the issues stated above. I was very displeased with the fastener on the band, however. It did not stay secure and while my husband was wearing it , it came unfastened and he lost it. We finally found it but now it doesn't want to stay charged. I had trouble with it coming unfastened several times before that and just happened to catch it. would love to have the one with the better band but it is just too expensive. Probably won't buy another one because of the band and cost.

IF I decide to go through the process again, I will be receiving my FOURTH battery in a little less than 2 years. I go for periods of time not wearing the device and put it to "sleep" as directed, but then it won't take a charge again when I try to use it. I don't like that it won't record elliptical activity as steps. Probably going back to the old pedometer. Just not worth the hassle.

Well, I was very happy, but my Fitbit Charge fell apart after only 9 months of use! The band separated from the device and I am now unable to wear it! I am extremely disappointed. For the price, it should have held up better. I am waiting for the Fitbit help site to reply as they have a 1 year warranty, but they have not responded yet. I remain hopeful but I am not recommending this product to friends. I think they need to rethink the design.

I have the Fitbit surge and it has stopped working on me after only 3 months and the customer service rep I spoke to did nothing to help me. Said because I received it as a gift and do not have the receipt there was nothing they could do. I could buy another one if I wanted to keep using the Fitbit products. Told me that I was just trying to get a "free" one for nothing. I was shocked that a company rep was so rude to me. I selected the low rating just because of my customer service dealings. For the short amount of time that it did work I loved it!

I bought one of the original Fitbits for my wife as a Christmas gift. After approximately 2-3 months it stopped holding a charge. We were given a replacement but once again after about the same time frame it stopped working again. We were given another and got the same results. After the 3rd didnt work we asked for another or our money back and we were told that neither one would happen. Would never buy from this company again. I had the Flex....it was horrible. From the second day it would not work correctly. Multiple emails with customer support that would take a least a week to get a reply!! Stopped wearing it on day 4 and according to my weekly fitness emails from FitBit, I did better activity wise with it lying on the table then I did when I was wearing it!! I month later, finally returned it and was given a full refund. Would never recommend this product. Be smart and check into buying from a different company.

The Fitbit Flex unit has stopped working and been replaced more than five times in the past year and a half. With the new format, my flex is no more than an expensive pedometer that keeps breaking down. I have gone through more than 3 wristbands in the last year. They are flimsy and very expensive. I don not recommend Fitbit! I wish I would have bought a different activity tracker.

I like the Fitbit community, challenging one another daily, weekly etc. My daughter and I each have a Fitbit. Mine was lost in less than 3 weeks due to a faulty clasp (Fitbit Charge). They quickly replaced it. Now, only 6 months later the casing is separating from the Fitbit, on both mine and my daughter's Charges. Fitbit has offered to replace with proof of purchase, but I want them to look into redesign. When my Fitbit fails, I will be looking to another company. Oh.. and the Fitbit is NOT waterproof. I would like something I could swim/shower while wearing.

I received my Fitbit as a birthday gift and loved it for about a week. The battery wouldn't charge unless I wrapped it with a rubber band and sat just right on the counter. It was a pain. I called the company to see what they could do, and they made it seem like a would have to jump through hoops to get it replaced. Looking online it looked like this was a known problem, so I am not sure why they wouldn't back up their product. I basically have a $99 rubber bracelet that does nothing now.

I loved my Fit Flex. Never took it off, only to charge. My daughter saved and bought if for me as a gift. After 3 months, it kept coming unsnapped and falling off. A bit frustrated because it has fallen off for the last time, because it is lost!!!! Very disappointed and frustrated. And have also heard that apparently this has been a common problem!!

My husband bought our fit bit flex for mothers day a few years ago. Neither of them lasted more than 3 months. Both were replaced by fitbit, and they didn't last another 4 months each. On top of that, they didn't track swimming well, and if you want it to track bicycling or food, you have to figure it all out yourself. Save yourself some money and time and get a polar chest strap.

Fitbit is terrible, do not purchase this product!! At first their customer service was great, then when I started having more issues with their product it took multiple emails and facebook posts to get a response from them. When I did get a response, the person told me to open a ticket (which I had) then told me she found it, but made me open ANOTHER ticket, only to give me the run around. They eventually sent me a replacement for my flex, but it was broken. They did not seem to care and never honored their warranty. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

I've had the Flex and Zip. I love my Zip because it has a battery that only has to be replaced approximately once a month. Also just got my Aria scale running and started my diet program back up. Love the scale. I have had programs with the Flex not charging and the Fitbit customer service sent a replacement. Also had to get a replacement on the Aria Scale. Original scale would not weigh. Fitbit customer service very helpful.

Liked it, but the bands and clasp designs are faulty. The band begins to tear where you remove and insert the fitbit for charging, and the bracelet keeps falling off. After many near losses where I caught it popping off or falling off, I finally lost it. My hubby lost his swimming at the beach - no contact or other jarring, catching on anything, just swimming. Not worth the price if they end up being disposable.

I have a flex. I loved it until it started not working half the time. I have been having problems with it. It barley works, hardley ever syncs. I have to do a reset atleast once a week and have to do it a few times before it will work. I love the fact that it tracks steps and I do the weekly and weekend challenges it's just frustrating when my fibit doesn't work and I can't complete my challenges.

Worst tracker ever, it stopped connecting with my phone (Samsung S8), they sent another one with the same problem. I canceled subscription in their app and they kept charging me for it even though tracker did not work. I wish them all the worst.

Fitbit has started to judge your sleep by giving you a score. they don't tell you how they arrived at the score unless you're willing to pay a monthly fee they also won't let you opt out of the score. This has been addressed all over the Fitbit community are Fitbit refuses to resolve the issue

Bought a Ionic one year ago it died so I called them, they sent me a new one and three months later it dies and they will not replace it . So I paid 300 plus for a Fitbit that's last only one year ,don't buy from Fitbit . The product is horrible.

Poor product. Battery quit after 18 months. No replacement battery’s available. Why?? Fitbit offered 25-40% discount if I purchased a new replacement Fitbit. That means I would be spending $200 every 18 months. Don’t buy Fitbit. Check all bad reviews. There are many.

I have the Flex and didn't use it for a year and finally put it on and have hardly any use on it. It quit working for no reason. company offered one for 25% off if I wanted to purchase another. But if I need to purchase a new one every year I am not interested.

I am sorry to say i am not happy with the charge hr, beside that it is bulky. I was trying to track my exercise, the website was making it difficult for me to track the exercise. it was not reading when i am on a bicycle.syncing was difficult on the phone. tracking your step is good, that's the only thing i like.

Sucked. Only recently able to get it to work after the latest update. Instructions on how to get started were bad and are still incomplete as far as I am concerned. I am more than a little computer literate and have a lot of experience training people on computer applications..

Fitbit charge I was pleased with my charge for a whole week, after that you could see condensation, inside of it,then when I charged it for the second time , my device would discharge with in 24 hours, for an item which was not even 2 weeks old, there were too many problems, which i thought it'd be better to return it,

I was given the Flex as a Mother's Day gift. Stopped syncing around the second month. I tried everything, resetting the device, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing worked longer than a day or so. I think my biggest disgust was with the customer service that I received from Fit Bit.

I loved my Flex at the beginning. But then it was less and less time between charges. Finally, at eight months, it stopped charging all together. When I bought it, the Flex was upwards of $100. It shouldn't be useless in eight months!
