If you shop on amazon you need to have amazon prime. With its streaming service that has plenty of free shows to watch and the free shipping there is no reason you shouldn't have it. Ive enjoyed watching several movies and shows the last couple months since we have been quarantined on prime. Id highly recommend it

What I love best about Amazon Prime Video is the wide selection of movies and shows to watch free or rent. Their rentals are so up to date that it is easy to find new releases to watch! There is a wide array of options for every age group in a family!

AF ,

I like that you can use your prime membership to watch movies! They have different shows than what you're getting on Netflix which is nice. I actually think it would be nice if Amazon offered different levels of membership so you didn't have to pay for the movie streaming service, but since I already have it... I'll use it!

We have had streaming services with Amazon Prime for several years and are very happy with the service. Their streaming service is fast and easy to use. A good variety of shows to watch. A major improvement would be to include PBS as a part of their package.

Good options for watching movies, series, shows. Since I'd never heard of and are pretty good. Worth the fees for prime alone. Doesn't buffer or interrupt in the middle of movies with issues like what happens with Netflix. Easy to navigate and find ideas for what to watch

My wife and I use Amazon Prime frequently and it happens to have a show we both enjoy watching (Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) along with a collection of other films. To rent films is also very affordable if there is a movie out that one may not want to buy right away.

on iPad tablet, they are good with pausing and resume playing vs. netflex you have to hit the screen twice to pause. Also it is nice they link in to IMDb so during any scene of most newer showes/movies you can find out who the characters are in that particular scene. Content is better than Netflix in my opinion. Much newer more popular movie releases. stuff i guess netflix saves for its sister company DVD.com

I would give it 5 stars, except one glaring con. The pros, it's cheaper than Netflix, if you want 4k. I like the original content quite a bit. Excellent selection (again, for what I watch). Now the cons. Next to impossible to have a separate user on different devices. I'd like my wife to have her shows and movies that she can see easily, and vice versa. Biggest con is the 25 steps you have to go through to get to 4K content. I have 4k equipment, it should be at the top of the menu. (used to be). Seems they want to advertise they do 4K, but not actually have you use it.

The other day, my daughter had some friends over to hang out and they decided they wanted to watch some older movies. They turned to Amazon Prime and found all the movies they wanted for a great price. I was glad I didn't have to go run around town to try to find them.

Amazon Prime was such a good decision, one thing I really like about amazon prime is it only takes 2 days to ship! One time I forgot to get my sister something for her birthday but luckily I could easily order something off of Amazon and it came in the next 2 days!

I use other streaming channels but Amazon is by far the most prolific in terms of variety of movie, TV, music etc. options. My download speed isn't the best but Amazon gives options as to SD versus HD so I can watch or listen to all that are offered.

Streaming is good but the cost is too much. I felt baited with a free season then per episode charges to watch the rest of the seasons. If you order a Prime item and a non-prime free shipping item you are charged shipping on the non-prime item unless the non-prime total is over $35. I went to my Prime settings 2 days before my account expired to make sure it w3as set not to renew but they charged another card on my Amazon account instead. Fortunately I had just run an account check on all my cards and discovered the Prime charge on my card 2 weeks prior. I went to the website and found a cancelling account FAQ buried in the menus. I cancelled again and got a page stating I would get a refund if I had not placed any orders since the Prime Renewal was paid. I did get a refund but people BE AWARE and check your cards frequently.

I don’t feel like you really pay a lot for the service since it comes with your Amazon prime. Does it have a lot of movies probably not as many as some of the other movies descriptions. But I do like that you can Byam different movies. I buy quite a bit as well as the free ones are on there. My kids love the yoga that is free. Just type in kids yoga. There is a good variety of older movies and that’s probably one of the biggest sell points for me

I use Amazon Prime all the time and it is AWESOME!! I can almost always find anything I need. I don't have to fight the traffic, or search for hours at multiple stores. It is all there in one place with the click of my finger. Prime is wonderful. There is so much more available that just the free or $1 shipping. Having access to the movies and TV shows is great and I have found at times they have anything Hulu and Netflix don't. I love it.

Amazon Prime has a pretty good selection of movies and TV shows. It's selection is definitely smaller than some other streaming services, like Netflix, but it also has several great TV shows (like Dr. Who, Monk and Psych) that are not available on Netflix. Prime video is a great deal, especially when considering the other benefits of Amazon Prime

Streaming TV has never been easier than using Amazon Prime. Not only is this great in place of Block Buster or Red Box, but almost every movie ever is on there. It is great to be able to rent movies or watch free movies provide through the Prime feature any time on any device. Our kids have loved this and use is often to watch movies with friends and family. I would 100% recommend using Amazon Prime Video as your TV Streaming channel.

I didn't know what to expect with Amazon Prime Video since it is a free service added onto my Prime subscription. I have since been blown away by everything that comes with it. The movies are very good especially since they have many blockbuster options. The original content is great and options for add on subscriptions make Amazon Prime Video have many more options than other similar streaming services.

We stream amazon every day. I love all the shows and movies on there but there’s two things that bother me. 1- I can’t put up parental controls to block certain content from my kids and that’s disappointing because sometimes I think of cancelling my subscription so my kids don’t watch bad stuff. 2- I get why they do it but why show a bunch of shows and movies that are not included with prime mixed in with ones that are included. It makes it feel like when I click on amazon I’m going to go broke. Ends up costing more than going out. Sometimes I just don’t want to click on it. But I do appreciate that they made it so that the shows automatically play the next episode. I never turned it on for my kids before that because I had to be sitting there to start the next one or hand my tiny kid the remote and that could end with my problem number one where I can’t block adult content. Just a few things to think about.

We dig Amazon Prime, mostly because it has our favorite shows, ok it has Suits. And that's what is winning our business. What am I saying? Who could live without Prime at this point? Prime Video is a really nice added benefit though. That being said, it is not our exclusive source of streaming video. We use a couple of other sites, as well, to meet all of our tv/video needs.

Have used amazon prime for a while. Great content, it’s nice that if something isn’t included in the service you have the option to rent, honestly though my favorite has been how easily it is to control parental settings, and that it has to be done from the website so that kids don’t even get a chance to get around the settings in the TV app.

Amazon prime is the best. There are many things you can do with it but the TV streaming is nice and easy to use. Very efficient if you watch TV a lot. I also love using amazon prime when ordering my textbooks for school. They come quick and in good quality. Love it for ordering gifts when I want to be able to see a wide variety and have them come quickly. Easy to return stuff that doesn't work.

I LOVE amazon prime. I have had it for over five years and I feel like I can't live without. I love how quickly my orders arrive and I don't ever feel anxious about how much the shipping will add to my order. I also enjoy the amazon video opportunities that come with the membership. All my experiences with their customer service have been nice as well.

LADIES AND GENTS. Amazon prime has Poldark, and honestly, that show alone would be worth my money, but they have other options too! Wow! There’s a great selection, and you can watch their stuff anywhere. I always download plenty of rom coms and episodes of psych before a road trip, which has saved my life. It’s a great deal for your money. (And all you readers got two reviews in one! Watch poldark.)

Over the last few years, we've enjoyed having Amazon Prime with Amazon Video. We began using Amazon prime for kids shows such as Backyardigans, Peppa Pig, and more. We would download them to watch in the car for trips, etc... Then as new movies would leave the theaters, we have rented them right off the bat on Amazon. We love the service and enjoy the vast amount of viewing material offered.

Whether we need to send a care package to my brothers in college or a present for an upcoming party, there are limitless products that Amazon prime provides, making it simple, fast, and helpful. I have had access to and used Amazon Prime for a few years now. It is a great resource to use on my electronics win my TV/cable goes out. For a while I was wishing for a greater selection of shows but they are now having more and more interesting shows they are creating on their own. There are many I am just waiting to have enough time to watch them. It is a great perk that comes with the prime subscription for Amazon's delivery services.

I love Amazon Prime. I especially love their instant video part of prime. It has different shows than Hulu and Netflix but is still as easy to use. The instant video has a feature called x-ray that shows you the actors in each scene, which I love because I am usually trying to figure out where I have seen them before. Also, the free 2-day shipping with Prime is amazing.

Overall Amazon has an amazing content offering. I have been able to find just about anything I look for in their offering. That said, what is included for free in Prime is much more limited than their overall offering, however. They still have great titles included in the Prime area, though. Amazon is one of the best companies I have dealt with when it comes to making it easy to do business with them. Simple ordering or resubscribing, preference understanding, problem resolution have all been excellent. The only reason I don't give them a total 5-star rating is that after paying for Prime, when a movie I want to see is not included in Prime, it often cost $5 or more to rent the movie. Compared to a Redbox or other offerings, that feel fairly expensive, especially on top of already paying for the Prime subscription.

Oh the joy of being able to watch the shows that I want, when I want, then jump over and view all of my photos, and go shopping with free shipping! I really put off becoming a prime member for a long time until I really needed something shipped to me. Finally made the leap and haven't looked back since. Couldn't be happier. Every interaction that I have with Amazon Prime has been positive, from ordering things, to returning them. Very pleased.

Amazon prime TV streaming comes included with our regular prime membership. It’s very similar to Netflix. Usually what you can’t find on Netflix you can find on Amazon prime and vise versa. The nice thing about Amazon though is you can rent and/or purchase the new releases. Also you can download before you leave the house and have it cued and ready to watch on your phone for later.

I love having Amazon Prime Video as part of my Amazon Prime membership. It gives me several options for movies and shows that Netflix doesn't have, and also offers several HBO and Showtime TV shows as a part of my subscription. I always tell people who have Amazon Prime membership about it, as many don't even know that Prime Video exists. It's become one of my favorite perks to my Prime membership.

Best membership ever. Love the free 2-day shipping and the fact that I can find pretty much anything I need. I take advantage of the free shipping on items I would regularly buy at the store but are cheaper on Amazon. Not everything is cheaper- and items often fluctuate but you can find a good deal if you keep an eye on things. Really like this for sending gifts. Plus it's nice to have access to movies and music- not something I'd pay for separately but it's nice to have as a package.

They have some good shows but they’re in her face is not user-friendly. They constantly remind you of old movies that you might want to watch, without allowing you to just create a list like other streaming companies. If you need prime for the free delivery of things it’s definitely worth it. But if you just want to buy prime for access to those streaming services I would not recommend it over others options.

Amazon prime is so great to provide access to awesome movies and tv shows. There are a lot of really random and bizarre titles, but it does provide a lot of cool shows that I like, so that is good. I like that it recommends shows to be also based on my past views.

Amazon Prime has a lot of movies to pick from but a lot of the times the movies will cut out and then it will say that you need to return back to the menu and start the movie over again. A couple of times I have also paid for some movies only for the voice to be off with the characters mouth which is majorly annoying. It's ok but you take your chances when watching a movie.

I liked that Amazon prime delivers faster packages but when it comes to the last day before, they offer a 2 day advance shipping that increased my shipping date by that amount. It turned out my things needed to be gathered from another facility which is why it took longer but I wish that was clarified from the beginning.
