I used Duolingo for my Spanish class in high school. It was very easy to navigate and was very helpful with me learning Spanish. The program keeps you motivated to keep learning your new language.

Duolingo offers a great way to start learning a new language. I like that it offers a variety of exercises to help reinforce what you've learned. Although I don't feel like the paid subscription offers enough to justify the price.

I have had a great time learning Spanish. I like how you can set the amount of time you want to learn. I hated the spelling at first. But it has really help me learn the language better.

I started to use Duolingo last year to try to learn Italian. I loved getting through the levels and doing all of the mini lessons on using words. I haven't had much to time to get it lately, but have really enjoyed using the app that I can use to learn from anywhere.

I tried using a few different programs to prepare for my trip to Nicaragua but Duolingo definitely worked the best. It was the easier to follow along to and I learned the most from it.

Duolingo has great interactive lessons that keep me and my family excited to learn a new language. They have very fun lessons and easy ways to learn any language of your choice.

It's not bad. It's not really a lesson--more like a set of quizzes that you have to learn from. And it gives you the barest bones of a vocabulary. It's a good practice tool, but if you actually want to learn a language, I recommend you go take a class.

Fun way to learn a new language. Sometimes the sentences it has you learn don’t make any sense and aren’t applicable and the more advanced you get I think the less accurate what you’re learning becomes. Talking with a friend who was fluent in the language I was learning, they said their translations were incorrect

I've been learning Japanese on Duolingo for several months now, and so far I have no complaints! The notifications aren't annoying, and it's easy to catch up after slacking off on lessons. It's quick, easy, and free!

Duolingo is a great way to learn new languages. However, I feel as if an option to apply for a tutor or to be able to talk to someone that speaks the language you’re trying to learn. Also, it sends many notifications, sometimes even if they’re off.

Duolingo has helped me to review some of my Spanish between my semester break of Spanish classes. The app allowed me to read, listen, and study vocabulary that I had forgotten or never heard before. I enjoyed the app but I felt they needed to allow the intermediate level to be more readily available when downloaded.

A really fun and helpful app. Just give minutes a day can do a lot to help you learn a language. There are times I wish I had a better explanation for verb tenses and usages so I could grasp them better, but for an app, which can't replace a physical teacher, it is a really great learning tool. Highly recommended!

I like DuoLingo because it is very easy to use. They have a lot of languages that you could learn. I am really only brushing up on my Spanish and they really take it step by step for what you're trying to learn and you learn the basics to be mroe conversational. Plus, it is free.

Duolingo helped me pass my college spanish courses. Being a native Ghanian and being raised in America I only knew those two languages. When I signed up for my Spanish class i knew It would be difficult. I was advised to download this by my professor. Boy did it help. As I ended up with an A in the course.

Very entertaining and helpful. I love to use this app. However, sometimes it gets discouraging when I am trying to advance to the next level to achieve various goals and I have to be spending an unreasonable amount of time on the app to do so. I wish you wouldn't include achievements like that. I also wonder if I would be helped more if there were more opportunities to form sentences with out the helper words. I think it would test me more and help it get in my long-term memory a little better.

I've been trying to relearn Spanish. Duolingo has been great. I like that you don't have to spend a ton of time to enjoy it. Just 5 minutes here or there can really help. I like that you can hear it spoken too (and slowly).

I used to use Duolingo and I thought it was a good program to learn Spanish until I took a Spanish class at my local high school and I realized how much I was missing out on. The app had correct information but it didn't explain why it was correct or incorrect. I wish the software was more detailed in the information they shared during the learning process, but it was very easy to access.

Duolingo is fun, simple, and it's free service is plenty good. I will say, however, that people who enjoy learning grammar and language rules might find Duolingo a little frustrating, because they simply teach you phrases and translations without understand why things are the way they are.

I like how it teaches you the basics about the language. My only complaint is that even if you can show that you have mastered the easy parts of the language, you either have to spend a bunch of time passing off the easy levels, or you have to pay to test into the harder part.

Annoying that it keeps sending me so many reminders, but good for beginners who have no idea what they're getting into. The programs are designed to be easy and teach a simple understanding of a language. I used this to learn Japanese but had to switch to a different program after the lessons started to get repetitive.
