It is less expensive than other plans but the one time I tried to use my warranty it was frustrating. Nobody came to do my job. I feel like it is hard to get service. Also I was told I was fully covered for the AC and I still had to pay $900 dollars and they covered the rest.

Seems like a good deal. There is always room for improvement over the phone. It is kind of hard to get through some of the menu options. They fixed the air conditioning and that is what it really is about.

Our air conditioner went out so we called them. It took a while to get somebody over here but they were very good about it. The person was very polite and got the work done.

Choice Home was recommended by my broker when we bought the house. The only time I’ve had a significant issue, the technician replaced the coil of the air conditioner, though he wanted to replace the whole unit. So far it is working okay but I don’t know how long it will.

I’ve used the warranty a couple of times. The first they came and fixed it about a week later. I am still waiting on a check for my washer. They are supposed to give me three hundred bucks.

The plumber choice got out here fixed our drain stoppage and was very helpful in getting the pressure up on the other faucets. They responded quickly.

Within the last month I had an issue with the water heater and the initial technician came out and diagnosed the problem but he never came back out to fix so we are still waiting for it to be taken care of. I am still waiting for another technician to contact me.

They offer good services and for only $60 which is great. They are a good company. I am going to stay with them. It was little annoying when I had a second man come for the same job and had to pay the $60.

The service people have been on time and done their jobs. They have been very good. There have been some unexpected expected expenses and we’ve had to contact the case file manager because we are on a fixed income.

Choice Home seems to be sufficient as far as the service. I’ve had pretty good experiences with all the service. I’ve used it a couple of times. It took a little long to get approval for the AC.

I’ve had very good results. I’ve used them four or five times and each time, they catered to my needs. They found contractors, except once I had to find my own, but generally they did well.

The agreement is that if they can’t repair an appliance, they replace it but that was not the case in my experience. Once it was determined by Choice that the oven could not be repaired, funds were offered far below what I could replace the appliance with.

Everything that needs repair that I paid for in warranty is not covered. The company fools you and makes you believe you are covered; then, when time comes to actually use it, they will deny the bigger claims. I had to pay extra money to cover the air conditioner and the heating system but they did not let me use the warranty on the AC when I needed it.

We opened a claim August 27th 2020 for A/C unit which had a broken Condenser. The claim was approved. CHW approved me for $1500 and the remaining balance out of pocket was $1220.00 The first company came out but refused to do the installation because the technician said he has no knowledge on how to install the A/C unit on the elevated base. The technician stormed off and wrote a false accusation. CHW then assigned Perry's Heating & Cooling which came out and quoted me double the price for the same repair. Now the difference out of pocket is $2200.00. This is unacceptable. My case manager left me with 2 options. The first option is to pay double cost out pocket to Perry's Heating Cooling or to just do it on my own entirely out of pocket.

The first claim we made they sent the wrong type of repair person. When we called and they sent the plumber we had been told we wouldn't have to pay the fee again. That wasn't true. Then we were told we would receive a refund of the fee and, we never received it and no one seems to find record of the refund we were supposed to receive.

I think what they do is helpful. Sometimes it took a little longer than what it should have to get some part updates. They did do a good job making sure your stuff covered under the warranty as taken care of.

I understood Choice Home Warranty sent out the “Best Qualified Technician” to do the repair. After the company they sent out to repair or replace an ice maker never returned after saying they had to order the part we checked on the BBB web site and the repair company is rated F, with complaints taking people’s money and never returning to do repair. Still waiting on return call from Choice Home Warranty on our appeal. Lesson learned, check out company before appointment. I would think that Choice Home Warranty would verify business license and their rating with BBB before sending someone to do a repair.
