We called Choice Home Warranty on Friday, Aug 14th and today is Monday, August 17th at 11:32 p.m. and we still have had no response. My husband has called several times and each time he has bee told you all cannot find a tech in our area. I have asthma, CAD; two stents in my heart and I am diabetic. I need air. What am I to do?

The warranty process is ridiculous. Fridge broke that is worth 1,500 dollars and was given 600 dollars to replace it. My claims manager tosha should be fired for the way she acted while I was on the phone with her. Would never recommend this company because of my experience.

My experience was not very good. For my claim I had to constantly stay on top of choice warranty to get my claim fixed. They are not very good at following up and only do it when prompted

Your great news telling me you were going to replace my fridge cost me $1000. You gave me $599.99 to replace the fridge.....An exact replacement fridge cost me $1500.....Thanks a lot....$599.99 would not even buy a small apartment fridge. I can't wait for contract renewal time!

Be ware of clause f16. It basically says they will decide how much to pay you for your appliance that they said they would replace. They do not replace items, they give you half the value of the appliance. Their advertising is very misleading.

I tried calling yet could not understand agent due to language barrier and excessive static on their line. Finally got email saying I could get a reimbursement since they were having delays. I took this to understand I could use company I called. Yet in the end CHW refused to reimburse me.

I just reviewed the contract and it does not cover services that the sales rep mentioned that it would. One item in particular was modifications needed for a/c installations and/or repairs. I feel like I got the the bait and switch. Tried to call the sales rep back to cancel and now I can’t reach a live person. I had to leave a message.

Filed the claim on May 8. Technician came on May 13 but didn't have the part to repair. He is scheduled to return on June 2. That's 5 days to get a technician and an additional 19 days until a return to hopefully have the part and do the repair. Totally unacceptable!!!

Billed for a full year instead of one month. I was tools this would be corrected immediately. It wasn’t. I called the next day, was told the money would be back in my account by midnight. It wasn’t. Called the next day, was told it would take a few days. Based on the run around I’m getting over a bill, I am canceling my account

Impossible to get a hold of, especially on week-ends. Total lack of concern for loss of A.C. in 90 degree+ temperature. Would not return calls. Please cancel warranty and send refund for remainder of warranty. This company should not be in business.

Put in for a leak in my upstairs apartment and paid plumber. Then to find out it’s not covered. They said they emailed me and I’ve checked dozens of time to find out no email was sent and plumbing is part of what is paid for.

Worst company ever. DON'T go with choice . They do not pay claims, they take forever to send a tech out and it multiple times the tech has to come out and when you cancel, you don't get your money back even with 7 months left in your contract. Worst company ever!!!!

We are currently in a COVID 19 nightmare. My washer has been broken for 3 weeks and my technician is struggling to find my parts. Choice Home Warranty needs to offer me a rental washer temporarily until the parts can be found. Laundrymats are closed and we can't go anywhere to do laundry. Instead, I get the routine answer of waiting on parts.

Had 5+1 year with 2 years gone: 1) incompetent technicians who can not fix the problem. It is just a dispatching company. 2) for urgent needs they take forever. Asked for refund: they offered $200 odd for using 2/(5+1) years. where practically they are useless. do not waste your money. RUN AWAY

One star is too good for these people. Absolutely painful trying to force them to warranty anything. They send far less than professional repair people who do not know how to do anything other than to collect their $80. service, waste of time and money fee.
