Choice Home Warranty

They cover most things, but not always things I think should be covered. For example, a leak in my roof wasn't covered under their warranty, and neither was a leakage problem from my sink. They are professional, calm, friendly, and polite when they get back to you. They always seem to want to help you with problems. I've received an excellent technician whose services were really good.

We've used the warranty three times. Each time we've used it, they would have someone out here the next day and everything was taken care of. They did an efficient job, they were polite, and had their masks on. I'm very pleased at how prompt they have been.

I received quick service with no hassle whatsoever when I had questions. When my dishwasher broke down there was a repairman at my house within two days. They are a reputable company and I didn't have to wait long to get a service person assigned to me.

I've always been impressed with the way my claims have been handled. Choice got a repairman out here within a day and I ended up getting a new unit. My customer service representative was very instrumental in helping me get the new unit. I will continue to use Choice as my home warranty service.

When I call, they answer the phone and service comes the very next day. I've needed to use them twice for a plumbing problem and it was all cleared up the next day. They have a very complete warranty and everything you need covered is covered!

This is a difficult review because in the past, I was happy with Choice. It is for that reason that I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1. If my entire review was based on my most recent interaction, however, I would be giving Choice only 1 star. Our a/c went out during the hottest part of summer. I live in Henderson, which is adjacent to Las Vegas. When the a/c went out, temps were over 110 degrees every day. We were without a/c for approximately 3 weeks. While Choice is not entirely to blame for that length of time, they are partly to blame. Choice decided to order the new unit for our home. However, when over 2 weeks had passed without the unit arriving & we were finally able to reach someone to discuss the situation, they abdicated all responsibility & passed the task over to our a/c tech. Because of their delay, it was another week before our unit arrived & was installed. During this time, we were responsible for paying for 1 portable a/c unit at $25 per day which was necessary due to the temps here. If the delay were the only problem, I would still probably not rate Choice so low. What made the whole experience beyond frustrating & why I will be canceling my Choice Warranty was their lack of, & incorrect communication. I understand that the pandemic has caused customer service to be run from home. However, there should still be some main source of accurate & timely information. I called Choice almost daily trying to find out first, what had been approved, then when the unit would arrive, & then what my out of pocket cost would be. Not one customer service agent could tell me what I had been approved for. I did not find out til I requested a call from a manager 3 times & finally received a call after the 3rd time. It was then that I was told a unit had been approved. When I called over the next few times to find out when the unit would arrive, no agent could tell me. Again, I had to call & request a manager call back. This time, I was told they hadn't ordered one but were passing the task on to my service tech. At this point, we were over 2 weeks into 110+ degree weather with no a/c. Once I was told the unit had been approved, I asked for my out of pocket cost. On the first call, I was told it would be $975. The second time, I was told it would be $1400. On the day before the unit was installed, I was sent an email that stated I would owe $2195 out of pocket. It was quite a shock. The whole experience was horrible. The service was beyond lacking. Despite my previous positive experiences with Choice, this was so awful I refuse to risk continuing to do business with Choice. It's not worth going through anything like this again.

They have been very responsive. Most recently our dryer broke and the offered us a certain amount of money to put to a new one since it could not be fixed. We were happy with what was provided. We are happy with the service of the vendors. The technicians diagnose the problems and everything is outlined.

Responses are always very quick and professional. The people they send are professional and thorough. I had my garage door repaired immediately. I also had my air conditioning done. I have had other warrantied in the past and I can tell you Choice is the best I’ve used so far.

Quality is good, it is just the timing aspect. It took a while to get a repairman out for services in my area but once they found them, they found a really good one that came all hours of the day and get the job done as expeditiously as possible. Every time I use them, they send people that go above and beyond to get the job done.

One hundred percent worth it. I will definitely renew. They are attentive and helpful every time I call. Recently my ac was blowing hot air. The ac repair people they sent me were really good. Everything went smoothly. They always come through. It is a great service.

It is very easy to fine a claim. I have never had an issues with something not being fixed. I had a an AC problem and they came out the next business day and had it fixed pretty quickly. I like that it is different companies that come out to work on issues and it is not one company. Availability for service is a lot higher.

The last time I had a leak in my bathroom and they moved me to the front of the line so I didn’t have to turn the water off in my house for very long. They were there within 24 hours. Every time I need them, they are there.

So far it has been really good. They have been really good about getting people out here. Our water heater wasn’t working and they figured out what was wrong and ordered parts and came back a couple of days ago later to fix it.

Great customer service and the people they are sending are getting the work done quickly. I had a plumbing issue and I called them and the very next day, someone was out to fix my problem. You don’t have to wait forever. I am happy with it. It is one of the best values.

When I call, I get immediate results. I have had them for a little over a year and I have not been disappointed. It is a good value. The people they send me are really good. The girls in the office are so sweet and accommodating. They tell me who is going to call and when they are going to call. It is nice to know.

Always contact me within 24 hours and address all my issues. The time the air conditioner wasn’t working, they came out and fixed it. They always send a technician who can do the job. The two times they were unable to fix the problems because the company was not making the part, they offered me an amount of money to replace the problem.

Always easy to work with and quick to respond. The service is very good. Our fridge broke and hey sent out the repair person to diagnose the problem and ended paying for a new refrigerator. The cost was covered about seventy percent.

I always recommend them to friends. I never have any problems with them taking care of things need. Our refrigerator went out, a fan had to be replaced and the gentleman ordered the part right away and they came out and installed it and all is working well.

The only thing I was disappointed with, which really isn’t about Choice Warranty, was the company they sent out said they would be here between eight and eleven and at noon they called me and said it would be between twelve and four and it wasn’t until five thirty that they came. Other than that when I sent Choice I needed something, within less than 24 hours I had a reply with an appointment set up to take care of it. They are prompt and the price is very reasonable. I do recommend them to friends.

We’ve had good luck with some of our service technicians but not with other. Generally they were very polite but the quality of the workmanship is not always top notch. Customer service is generally pretty responsive except they have a hard time getting vendors and contractors out in a timely manner. Overall it is useful to have a policy in place.

Customer service is pretty much on top of it. I got a quote right away. I had a problem with my AC unit on a Sunday morning and I called and someone was out the next day and is was fixed within 30 to 45 minutes. I am completely satisfied.

I made a good choice picking Choice. Whenever I make a phone call, I get an appointment with someone. The person always shows up. Every single person they have sent to my house has made the repair on time and was very polite.

The money I paid was great but I have been told the prices have gone up. I don’t have trouble getting a repair for anything I put a request in for. It is easy for me to put a claim in online. In a couple of hours, I can see they have contacted someone to come out and do my repairs.

Very pleased with the cost and what is covered. I feel they are very trustworthy. I trust the people that came out. I feel safe with them. They really want to make sure they are supporting my needs. The quality of service is really good. The process is very easy and the gentleman on the phone was very professional.

When I filed a claim for my AC unit, they took immediate action and were at my house within 24 hour. The service man even showed up early for the appointment and was done within 15 minutes. The only criticism I have with Choice Home Warranty is they send unsolicited advertisements.

It is easy to go through the phone or their website to get them. They explain what your coverage is. I have special things covered. They make sure you are satisfied with the people who come out to fix whatever needs to be fixed.

Sixty dollars is ridiculous for a service call. It used to be forty five. It is the cheapest one out there. For everything other than plumbing issues, the technician is out within 24 hours but with plumbers it is 2 or 3 days.

If they can fix it, they fix it. If they can’t fix it, the replace part of it. The people who have come to the house have been very nice and very courteous. It is a big help for us that I know I can trust the people. It did take three weeks to get a plumber.

So every time I needed to use the warranty, it has been a good experience. I have probably used it three times. Customer support is very attentive and the person that came out for my LG dryer was very good and professional. It was fixed in a timely manner.

My issues were taken care of in a timely and courteous manner. I’ve used them on two occasions and they were very responsive. I had a plumbing issue, where three of my four bathrooms were not flushing properly and they sent out a plumber and he diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced all the toilets for a nominal service fee.

Their service is above and beyond. They’ve always been right on top of things. The last time I used them, my dryer was not shutting off when I opened the door. They came out within two days and ordered a part and a couple of days after that, it was fixed.

All the technicians are excellent. I’ve use the warranty twice, once foe the dishwasher and the other for the dryer. They repaired both appliances on the first visit. They have communicated with me and followed through. I had American Home Warranty before and I wasn’t happy with them and Choice offered me more.

Everyone that has come out so far has been very professional and has been able to solve the problem. They are always responsive. When I submit a claim, almost immediately I receive a call that my service has been scheduled and I get all the information I need.

The experience we have had with choice has been good. It was quick and easy. We had to have the roof replaced because there was damage. I filed the claim and very fast after that, the sub contractor called to fix the problem. He did very professional, good work.

After doing some research, Choice Home Warranty seemed like my best choice. They reply quickly and send out reputable people that do a good job. I’ve used it twice with my dishwasher and the gentlemen they sent out quickly solved the problem. Both times it was a good experience.

When we called, we received a good response quickly and they were easy to work with. We were having troubles with the air conditioning and they sent out a repair team to fix it and when it went down a second time, the unit was replaced.

About 3 weeks they fixed the garage door opener. They get repairs done in a timely manner. They have done an excellent job. They came at the scheduled time and got it fixed that dat. I highly recommend them. It is highly cost effective.

A step above everyone else with home warranty. I truly love it. There service is a lot better than American Home Warranty. They actually contact you back and care about the customer and their needs. My air conditioner unit went out and I got it repaired. They put in the time to understand my issues.

They are very good about helping me and answering my questions promptly. I recently used the warranty when I had an electrical problem. The electrician came and solved my problem within minutes. I think it is very good value for the money.

Recently I was having an issue with my sink and they sent someone out to fix. I also got a new disposal and stove. I was also having a problem with my dishwasher and they said that was a separate thing so I didn’t like having to pay the $55 dollars again.

Very much satisfied that they do what they say they are going to do. It is hard to find service like this. They treat me like I have been going there for a hundred years and like they want to the most superior job and I believe they did. They are prompt and adamant that they have support for me.

Choice has the most comprehensive program. I’ve used it several times and every time some has come out to diagnose the problem and we get great service. They always keep you informed about the status of the technician dispatched. It is a good value. All you need is one service call and you have payed for it.

Fast service and great quality. Multiple people had referred me to them as one of the best home warranties and I haven’t had any bad experiences on my multiple calls. Somebody was out within three days to repair my dryer and he got it taken care of in thirty minutes.

Overall we’re very happy. We are happy with the price. It is better than the other company we were with. We were able to get a hold of someone quickly and easily for the call and they did the job. With the other company, we could not reach them.

Choice Home Warranty is good almost all of the time. They sent someone right out last month for the problem with my refrigerator which I appreciate because I have food in there. They didn’t want to give me two hundred dollars for the stove but it is a great thing to have.

Because I don’t have to search around for a good service person to come and they do the services that are expected, it has worked out for me. The air conditioning was covered with an added amount and the outcome was very good.

The warranty gives me peace of mind. I can call them and after a small service charge, the work is done. I used it a week ago for a plumbing problem and they came right away to fix the problem. It is normally within a day or less to get the jobs done.

Very high quality. Every time I’ve used them, they’ve been exceptional in getting the job done even during the summertime. There were a few times when I had issues getting calls back from key personnel in their company but they are very good company and I am satisfied.

It is easy to enough to do. I went online and did it. You don’t interact with anybody when you put in a request. I don’t like it but that is the way the world is doing, everything automatically. They have done everything they said they would do. The rate is good and fair.

So far everything that I have come to them with, they have been really good. When I fill out the form, I get a notice of a service provider within 24 hours. If the provider they sent out was not good, they refunded me. I am pleased with the price I pay for a service call.
