My warranty service was scheduled four days after I called. Too long!!! I called to complain and no changes happened! When the service Personnel arrived I was informed that certain pats needed to be replaced.. I was never kept informed of when the service technician would be returning or the parts would be available. I had to call after a week to determine my place. I am. now waiting to hear when the parts will arrive and service will be performed. I was never informed. I am still waiting when the repairs will be done. I had to go buy a new microwave oven for temporary use because my warranty could no solve problem in a timely manner. Again, I am extreme disappointment. However, I was able to find the parts online with next day delivery, but I am waitingn, for the service company to get their parts. Totally, unacceptable!!! I am confident that this issue was in your home the issue would be handled immediately.! I am totally disappointed with the level of service! I must rethink a about a renewal.

Filing the claim and scheduling the repair was easy. The repair date was over a week in the future. The technician couldn’t find my address. Rescheduled repair was another week later. Numerous calls and emails got it moved up a few days. technician was awesome. My washing machine was repaired in less than 30 minutes. Area was left clean and orderly.

It’s been great to get things fixed because I moved in here and didn’t know that there were things that needed to be fixed. So it’s been great to have someone fix everything for me, as I’m a widow.

We have been without air conditioning for over a month. There has been little to no communication about what's going on with our claim. The tech has the air conditioner and they're saying they hope the tech gets the parts for the furnace by Christmas so we can have air and heat, which means we are going half of summer and at least half of winter without. The tech has a unit in his warehouse right now that he can install, but they don't want to pay his price. They don't care that we have two small children that are miserable in this heat! **EDITED TO ADD** After 5 weeks with no air, Choice did approve for the contractor to use his own equipment and did install August 14, 2020. Because they gave us a satisfactory resolution, I changed my rating, but I can't give five stars, as it should not have taken a bad review on this site to get this done.

Our five year old refrigerator was not getting cold enough and both food and milk were going bad. I completed the claim on line and was contacted by a local technician who made an appointment and arrived on time. He carried out a thorough inspection and is due to get back to us as soon as the parts arrive.

The warranty was a good option for major repairs to take place. The issue I found with the system is when my built in microwave went out I knew it had to be replaced, but I still had to pay a $65 service fee to a technician to come out and have the same finding. Then I was received an email for a cash voucher the was only high enough to cover the base model with no installation cost. Or I could have chosen to deny it but it’s stated I would not have a choice of what I was getting and it made it out like it would take longer to get the replacement. With my concern of getting a color that didn’t match and having to live with it I choose the cash option. So With the 169.99 cash voucher minus the 65 I had to pay for the tech I end up receiving 104.99 towards my appliance and installation fee

The company takes to long to get the necessary approvals from the company that perform the warranty work. Filed a claim on 7/21/20 for a hot water heart that was leaking. As of today 8/1/20 it has not been replaced. I have the vendor coming out to do the work on 8/5/20. Choice warranty said that I have to pay the company $400.00 and the vendor said I need to pay $460.00 to have the work done. Why the difference in price???

I purchased this product in Apr 2020. I have paid for the entire year for services. My first request to fix my leaking sink. I received an email asking me to WAIT or find someone to fix the leaking water from another vendor and pay them and they will refund the cost. Now this is not what I signed up for. This is my first request for service. Not a happy camper in this case.

I joined them about 7 Months ago and they are somewhat available when I call them. I had to turn in a claim about 4 weeks ago, My washing machine started leaking from the bottom they didn't hesitate to send someone in a few days, although the gentlemen said it would cost more to fix it than replacing it with another one. That didn't happen either, I was promised $399.00 in about two Months to help me purchase one. The Contract says Replace it.

The representative had a very bad connection. I could barely hear her due to it seemed if she had a fan blowing and dogs barking in the background the entire time. She seemed very impatient. My first time making a claim I won't let this experience impact the company as a whole. I would definitely recommend others.

I was told by an employee over the phone that my repair wasn’t considered a priority and that’s why they didn’t have a technician available for my repairs. I was told to find my own technician, and pay for the repair myself and submit a reimbursement claim for the repair. Choice home warranty doesn’t even cover the full cost of the repair, which cost me $601 dollars. Choice is only giving me back $499 dollars, meanwhile my service call charges are $65 and my monthly is charge is $85 and just got increased to $91. They are quick to collect their monthly dues but were very dismissive of my claim. How rude is it to be told that you your claim is not considered important to the company that you are paying a monthly fee to? My pool booster pump being broken caused my pool to turn green, grow algae, and for frogs to to start breeding. But yes it’s not important, mins you I paid over $1000 to get my pool ready for the summer, and now will have to pay out more money for it to get back to usable condition, on top of the $601 I had to pay for the pump replacement. Now I have to wait 30 days for a reimbursement check to come in for partial of the amount. This is not the right way to do business, this is horrible customer service. I have owned multiple businesses and I have worked for major corporations, and I would never allow my employees to speak to clients like that. I have been a customer for 1 year.

The response to my need for repair on my dishwasher was relatively quick and efficient, plus the repair service that came was competent and polite and reasonable. However, in their decision to 'replace the dishwasher' rather that repair it, it was extremely unsatisfactory as the payment offered to replace the unit didn't even come close to being able to replace it with a comparable appliance.

After a back and forth CHW offered up to pay for a covered repair to my AC. It took 5 days and i had to finally find a servicing company to diagnose my AC repair. Live in FL and temp was 100+ a couple days with an 86 yo Mother living with us. Once I have my check in hand I would be happy to do another review. Very disappointed in CHW response time. Happy to discuss with a manager, not a front line operator.

I am upset about the lack of response time from your customer service. I called because of my AC problem. I was on hold for 25 minutes, so I finally entered my cell number for a call back. It never came and I had to do something since our temperature outside were 95+, with a heat index of 105. I called a reputable company who came out immediately to try and solve my lack of cool air in our upstairs bedrooms. Temperature was 88 in the bedrooms. He checked the units out but the problem was it needed R22 freon and they ran out of it months ago and could not charge it. That cost me $220.00 because NOBODY from your company got back to me that day!!! I finally sent your company an email explaining my problem and asking for a responses. NO return email until the next day when surprise I found out that someone would be out on Tuesday!!! So Sunday, Monday we had a hot house until the company came out and then it took more time (NOT THEIR FAULT) because your company had to decide if they were to charge up my AC with 3 pounds of R22 or do a leak test. That took close to a half hour to decide. This claim cost me $220.00 + $45 for the second service call. All because NOBODY would call me back so I could speak to a rep and explain the problem and set up a time. Receiving an email about the appointment that was set without first contacting a client is poor customer service. Not happy about how this was handled. Thank goodness the company that came out was very professional about the whole situation.

Choice has a lot of bureaucratic procedures that contributes to service inefficiencies. Because Choice believes it is more important to save company money verses attending to the home repair, I had to be without a water heater for eight days. My technician could have repaired my water heater the same day if they were allowed to purchase their own supplies from the local hardware store. For this reason, I was without water for eight days . In addition, I had to go to a hotel to shower, and visit coin operating laundry mate to wash my clothes. This service is unacceptable and the company should have exceptions to accommodate circumstances as this. I even offered to purchase the supplies and get reimbursed and they said that option was not available. I am truly disappointed and will look for a better home service warranty.

My recent service claim was covered by CHW. However, I had already several issues that were declined with questionable reasons provided. When I complaint about those decisions to senior management, I got very rude responses and it looked to me that management truly doesn't care loosing customers. One manager even questioned my technical understanding and told me in a very nasty way that he is the one who makes the final decision, and if I don't like it I can always cancel the contract. This insurance is just average.
