Progressive has a good website that allows you to easily get an online quote. As opposed to other car agencies which called me to follow up on their quotes, Progressive has only sent me e-mails. I do not recommend getting a quote from them if you plan on checking out other companies as well.

We have had progressive in the past. We would still be with them, but their rates jumped "a bunch" when adding new drivers / teenagers to the policy. Other than that the service was good!

In searching for car insurance, although they have good rates but it was a little expensive for us. If you're car is paid off & looking for liability I think they'll have the plan for you. Other than that it was a tad bit expensive for the coverage we were looking for but they are friendly. What may not work for one may work for another.

Not a fan. Had Progressive for only 6 months and when our next 6 months was about to start, the cost of our premiums doubled. Called customer service and it seemed the person on the other line had no interest in helping. Cancelled my policy and went to a different company where I continue to used.

This company sucks...i got into an accident that wasnt my fault. I have spent a almost a year trying to get them to help me. I cant even change insurance because i have a open PIP claim.My bronco was totalled...Its been a nightmare!

Easy company to use. Had a claim and they paid out very quick....in fact I feel that they were so eager and persistent to pay my claim and sign a disclosure that it was officially closed. Felt like they "got off cheap."

I was told that this was the cheapest option for me for insurance out of all the other insurance companies. So I went with them and paid almost 400 per mo for liability coverage. I never got charged this amount after my first bill! I was being charged over 600 per mo and told “oh the first was just estimate”. NO! The almost 400 dollars was more than what the estimate was and it was settled and I got my ins and paid my first bill. Anyways I later found out I had three other options and one of them I got full coverage for half the price!

We were shopping for auto insurance for the first time. I spent at least ten minutes answering tons of questions for their online application and got an incredibly $$$ quote back. Called a few local agencies to help me shop around and found a different quote for less than 50% of what Progressive offered. Not worth it, sorry Flo

I looked at getting Progressive but their payments are too high, and the bundles don't even make sense, you don't save that much money, and it covers like nothing! The customer service rep couldn't even answer my questions, just scripted responses like every other company out there

Was with progressive for years. Another progressive customer hit my daughters car in our driveway and turned around and blamed it on my daughter. Progressive sided with the liar and couldn’t even provide us with a common sense explanation behind their decision. I had three cars and my house insured with them. Pulled all of my accounts with them and even saved money in the process for better coverage. Progressive = junk insurance.

Progressive is crazy expensive and to even think about a Lower rate you have to have a tracking device in your vehicle. Even if you’re not the driver they tag you for everything so they don’t have to lower your rate. They tagged me for using my phone while I was in the passenger seat and when I told them they said I couldn’t prove that. Then I took my vehicle to the dealer for service and left it there by the time I got it back the next day I had 3 more tags for speed stopping abruptly and taking off too quick again they wouldn’t take it off so I left and went to GEICO.
