Very affordable flights. I was very happy to fly Alaska to my job in Seattle. The flights were cheap enough that I was able to visit my fiancé several times throughout the summer. I would definitely choose Alaska first when flying to washing in the future.

I have mixed feelings about Alaska Airlines. They used to be great, but in the past 6 months I have been less than happy. We live in Alaska, and use them several times a year. In the past we have enjoyed their mileage plan, but recently they have increased dramatically the number of miles needed to get a decent flight. They have also changed their flight options, so that now you have to pay extra if you want to sit together. These changes definitely have made us less happy and less likely to prefer Alaska Airlines over other airline choices.

We recently flew on Alaskan when we went to Hawaii this last summer. I was very impressed with how clean the plane was. I really liked their movie screens on the chairs and the free selections.

I just took a trip using Alask Airlines and my experience was great! All of the people working for Alaska Airlines were so polite and friendly. I would highly recommend this airline for people trying to travel on a tighter budget because my tickets were cheaper than with other airlines.

Alaska Airlines are very understandable with all the situations there costumers have before during or after there flight. My family has had some mistakes in the past with seating but was quickly resolved. I would recommend flying with Alaska Airlines.

When we were headed on our family vacation this year the lady at the check in counter was so kind and helpful. There were 5 of us traveling and some of our bags were overweight. She helped us rearrange the bags and gave us suggestions on how we could avoid paying extra fees. She was a lifesaver!!

I booked a flight for a wedding that has since then been cancelled. It was very frustrating to discover that the cancellation fee is the price of the ticket. What makes it worse is they wont deduct the fee from the money I already paid for the ticket. I have to pay for it out of pocket and then hold a credit to fly with them again. I support having cancellation fees but they should be proportionate to the ticket amount and it should be deducted from the money that has already been paid. This policy is not customer focused and frankly enraging. They would not consider doing a one time waiver.

First delays and overbooking and requesting volunteers to give up their seats for $200 and a hotel stay!! then no AC while waiting inside the plane ... then engine issue while we were about to fly so we had to return back to the gate which took forever also .... then wait again in airplane with no AC while they figure out the issue ... then reboard and more delays .... reached home by 2am instead of original plan of 10pm

I have been flying Alaska since 2002 from SFO to PSP on almost a monthly basis and I can honestly say the onboard service have gone from poor to bad. Passengers used to be able to order drinks, you are lucky now to get a glass of wine. The excuse is the duration of the flight, well, that duration didn't change from 2002 to now. If that was the case, how come Virgin America offers almost any drink on that one hour flight?

People who live in Alaska usually refer to Alaska Airlines as the airlines that hold us hostage here. They raise their prices to fly to rediculous outrageous rates. I'm talking about four hundred some dollars one way to Seattle. And when people complain they say "our prices are so high because our pilots have special training to fly in Alaska." Right now Delta has moved in on their territory and their so called needs to be priced so high tickets have plummeted to 90$ to seattle to compete. We as Alaskans can only hope Delta sticks around.

Even though we were flying on a smaller plane, you wouldn't know it. We were comfortable and treated very well. It was nice to have some Western craft beer available for our flight.

I have only traveled Alaskan once and it was not by choice. My first experience with them was traveling home from a business trip with the military and because of a low census on the flight it was cancelled. I was stranded from home and it was very frustrating. I have never wanted to fly Alaskan again.

Alaska airlines has great options out of the Pacific Northwest with very competitive prices, if you can fly from Seattle or Portland Hawaii can be a steal. Overview decent plane with standard small no leg room seating
