Because Alaska flies the bulk of their flights in a relatively tight corridor - Anchorage to San Diego for the most part - the passengers and crew have a high degree of commonality - many being West Coasters, Alaskans, PNW's, what have you. There is a sense of collegiality coupled with very good service, and a good mileage plan. Maybe its because I fly a lot in this corridor and have for so many years.

I remember one year our daughter was flying Alaska with her newborn baby, alone. She discovered that her luggage had been misplaced, and then turned up heavily damaged(it happens). The customer service manager gave her a NEW piece of luggage along with her apology, and her clothes were returned. This was between LA and Anchorage.

I love Alaska Airlines. It is the one I will book a flight on. The people are great. On my trip to IL a co-pilot got on the PA to announce his name,, who the pilot is and how much experience they have between them. It was a first and I really appreciated. I will be traveling Alaska Air to return home.

We always fly Alaska to Hawaii out of San Jose, CA. Attendants are always accommodating and friendly. We love the Alaska Airlines travel rewards credit card. Combine mileage awards with the annual $99 companion fare, it's pretty painless to upgrade to first class. Please do not change this great mileage award program. Would love to see the larger aircraft as well but the advantage of the 737 is quicker throughput time take-off to landing

My first flight from Boise to Seattle to Great Falls, MT was great ... couldn't ask for better service!! Service was superb!! Thanks Alaska for making the trip so nice!! My second flight from Great Falls, MT to Seattle, WA was great! Great job crew!! The second leg of the flight from Seattle, WA to Boise, ID had a lot to be desired to say the least!! Service was not the same quality as that on the other legs of the flights. Customer service from Seattle, WA to Boise, ID has a lot to be desired!! Only service it appeared that was provided to those in First Class .. which is not how it was on the other legs of the flights. Disappointed to say the least!! Flight to Seattle, WA & Great Falls, MT - rated 10 in my book. Great job teams~~ Flight from Great Falls, MT to Seattle = 10, flight from Seattle, WA to Boise, ID = 2 .. a lot of room for improvement on customer to ALL CUSTOMERS ... NOT JUST FIRST CLASS!!

We have always been satisfied with Alaska Air. We try to use them exclusively. They have always been on time. The flight crews are well groomed, courteous and helpful. We fly a lot to Arizona, Alaska and now back to Newark, N.J. where our granddaughter and family live. I'd recommend them to anyone!

The only airline I will ever fly! When my mother became fatally ill they helped me get an affordable ticket. When she died, they waived fees so that I was able to fly out using her ticket....Most compassionate, supportive, and respectful group of folks...

It is not what it was in the 60's and 70's, but it is pretty good as far as the airlines go, I have not found any real discounts or places where they take something off the price of a first class ticket. I do not care for the meals in first class, and once tried to buy a meal a could not get it, when I was in first class, because they were serving the same chicken sandwich as I had in the connecting flight. They should offer for you to buy meal from the list, when your in first class.

Alaska air has always been excellent for us to fly on. This year we got free baggage to Hawaii. On time most of the time or they tell you what is going on. A little communication is all we want if you are standing waiting . Food is high but no more than any other airline. Polite flight crew.

We've always had good experiences on Alaska. Very good service from the flight crew. Our tickets always get us TSA Precheck, which saves endless hassle at security. We always take carry-ons, and check them at the gate, which eliminates the problem of finding overhead space. The new seats could be more comfortable, but I'll stick with the 10.

Dope. Virgin Airlines used to be my favorite and understand that Alaska Airlines acquired them or merged not too long ago. Either way, I've always got A-1 service. Seats? A-1. Stewards/Stewardess'? A-1. Smooth planerides? Check. I've never had any issues with luggage either and the in flight stuff is pretty entertaining. I always fly Alaska when I can!

I really enjoy flying with Alaskan airlines. I have flown on this c a river around the united sea yes, and have shown with them within the state of Alaska. I have appreciated their reasonable rates relative to other carriers, their professionalism, and their friendliness as well. The ticketing processes is simple, and they seem Tod have enough staff on shift to truly take care of their customers - both in the Ari, and on the ground.

Alaska is another one of my go to picks for flying. they always seem to have flights available for when I need to fly and the rates are always pretty good. The boarding process is always smooth and fairly quick. Gate agents announce information clearly and regularly. I have never had any problems when flying Alaska which is why I continue to do so.

I have used Alaska Airlines many times and I always check their fairs when booking any flights. Even if I have to pay slightly more or have a slightly longer layover I will choose Alaska 100% of the time. Pricing is great, my flights have always been on-time and their flight attendants are amazing. I will always use Alaska Airlines when possible.

Really enjoyed flying Alaskan Airlines. The plane was a little small but it wasn't too bad at all for a short flight. The flight attendants were amazing they were friendly and kind and outgoing willing to do whatever they could to make the flight experience wonderful. I would definitely recommend two friends and family. And I do have a few family members that have already used it and we're very impressed with their service as well

Given the whole COVI-19 outbreak and people having to change or cancel reservations last minute. Alaska Airlines really stepped up and provided customer credits for the price of the airline tickets and or waiving the fees to cancel or change the reservations. That helps everyone out in these frustrating times.

We don't fly that often, but the few times Alaska employees have been very respectful and courteous. We always check in our baggage and have had no problems with checking in or receiving. The only draw back are that the seats are soooo close to each other, but I guess that is with any airlines.

I have been a long time Alaska Airlines customer. In the past I would have ranked them a 10. My issue is not service related, I still rank the employees as a 10. It's aircraft related, not the airframes. It's the seatting used in the new birds. I didn't know Recaro could manufacture a seat so uncomfortable.. other airlines are using the same seat with padding. I'm assuming someone in corporate had the bright idea of saving weight by opting for seats without padding.. While others in the airline industry continue to strive for customer comport, alaska seams to be doing the opposite.

Alaska has been my airlines for 49 years, but they need to stop making less room for the passengers to sit in. They also should not have so many special classes of passengers when it comes to seating folks. If you are just a regular, paying passenger you must wait for one special group after another to board. Jet Blue and others are getting away from this method of boarding. I can understand boarding those with special needs and perhaps even first class, that pay extra for this classification, but all the other groups makes no sense to those of us who just fly when we can and pay the price to do so, but must wait and wait while these other "special" folks board and take the luggage space up.

All things considered in comparison to other airlines of today Alaska is excellent. I have no complaints other than as with many airlines it's darn near impossible at times to hear what the pilot or crew are saying over the cabin PA system.

The first time I flew Alaska I thought I was dreaming -- it was like being at a party in the sky. Everyone was very happy (completely different from my experience on UA, which I flew for years). I gradually changed over to Alaska, which -- with the exception of an occasional UA-like flight attendant -- is overall AWESOME!!

Been flying with Alaska for over 30 years and they are my favorite air lines by far. Customer service is good and they do care about the people on board. They try and make it as pleasant as can be. The plane is always tidy and in working condition. Not to say they are perfect but they are way better than the competition for sure!!

Alaska used to be a great airline. As time passes and it continues to expand its area of service it has become just another large carrier. Alaska had one of the best mileage plans in the industry, actual mileage, extra if booked with BA Alaska Mileage card, double if traveling 1st class and an annual $50 companion fare to anywhere they fly in any class booked. Now, $99 economy class, domestic only. They have also now added the lousy "premium economy" seats. On our recent RT from Seattle to Detroit my wife asked during beverage service is she could get a Mimosa. The response from the flight attendant was a curt "That is reserved for our 1st cabin." No I'm sorry but, just a No. Alaska is convenient for many locations that I fly so I will continue to fly Alaska, not out of what used to be loyalty but simple convenience. In my opinion Alaska Airlines has lost its charm and become just another airline.

Great Airline. Flown them 2-3 times a year since 99. One of my go to airlines to go places. Never had a bad experience on them, both in Coach and First Class. Their new planes with the newly configured coach seats give everyone that exta knee room we tall people covet. Would love it if all airlines use them.

Alaska Airlines has recently become my go-to airline for travel. Their customer service is top notch! A big storm was coming and I was worried that I wouldn’t make it home from a funeral. I called and was able to switch to an earlier flight at no charge. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that recently their prices have been going up for services like picking a seat etc that used to be standard. I hate being nickel and dimes to death.
