Supplement Warehouse is one of few to offer a price match policy. If you can find a lower price on a competitor's site, you can purchase the product at Supplement Warehouse for an even lower price. By entering a competitor's web address and price and clicking "adjust price," the site will instantly adjust the price to 5% below the submitted competitor's price. Using the price match feature may take a bit of extra time, but it will certainly save you some money, especially if you're placing a large order.

Supplement Warehouse also offers several promotional discounts at any given time, so you'll have yet another way to save money by shopping there. If you have a question while browsing, Supplement Warehouse's phone number is prominently displayed in the site header, along with a "Help!/Contact Us!" tab that will take you to a contact page with additional options for emailing Supplement Warehouse or searching its frequently-asked questions.

Refund or Exchange Within 45 days

Supplement Warehouse partners with four carriers for domestic standard shipments. When an order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number for the designated carrier. To set your mind at ease, all packages are fully insured regardless of the carrier you select. All shipping charges are calculated based on weight and destination, and you can use Supplement Warehouse's shipping calculator in the shopping cart to determine your exact shipping costs before making a purchase. Most orders will arrive in 1-5 calendar days, although some can take as long as 8 business days. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, Supplement Warehouse will refund or exchange items for their purchase price within 45 days from the delivery date. There are a few exceptions, however: only one opened container of the same product will be accepted for return, original shipping and handling fees are not refundable and products that can melt or freeze, such as chocolate bars, are not refundable.

Poor Website Design

Many elements of the online shopping experience are a hassle due to Supplement Warehouse's website design. The homepage and product pages are chock-full of advertisements, which makes it difficult to read information and find what you're looking for. The site also doesn't have a footer to feature quick links to company information - this is a standard feature on the majority of websites and makes it easy for users to find information such as terms of service, privacy policies, support options and more. Lack of a footer means you may spend more time looking up answers to your questions than you would on another vitamin store's site. In addition, Supplement Warehouse's browsing categories aren't in the top navigation bar, where one would expect to find them. Instead, they're located off to the right and below the main navigation and social media links. Again, this differs from the type of website layout most users are familiar with and you may spend more time looking for what you want, especially if you're on a mobile device.

No Live Chat Option

Unlike many of the other vitamin stores we reviewed, Supplement Warehouse doesn't offer live chat with its customer service department. If you need support, you'll have to fill out a form or call.

Minimal Company Information

If you're looking for less fitness-oriented products or you'd like the option to also purchase herbs, foods and household supplies, Supplement Warehouse will have a limited selection for you to browse. The site's focus is products for bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts. Supplement Warehouse offers minimal information about its company and history on its site. The other online vitamin stores we reviewed offered a lot of transparent information about the company, business history, experience in the industry and community involvement. This could just be an oversight by Supplement Warehouse's website or marketing team, however failing to offer the customer any information about the company could also indicate a lack of credibility.
