The Good

  • Professionally managed properties
  • Accommodation options
  • Great services
Wyndham Vacation Rentals is part of one of the most trusted and expansive hospitality groups in the world. Every single vacation rental listed on their platform is professionally managed which allows for secure reservations and booking. Travelers can browse, compare, and book their ideal vacation accommodation free from worry. There are number of varying accommodation types for Wyndham customers to choose from. The typical vacation home is not the only type of accommodation available for rent. Since all property listings are verified and professionally managed, travelers can rest assured that the rental will likely meet their expectations. Property types include:
  • Vacation home rentals
  • Vacation condo rentals
  • Townhomes and Villas
  • Properties near beach, ski, and theme park destinations
Since Wyndham Vacation Rentals manages all their own rental sites they can offer security and services that individually owed rental sites cant. Wyndham has a "Count On Me" service culture to ensure hospitality at all of their vacation rental homes. All of their properties are handpicked and professionally managed by Wyndham to ensure your comfort. Here are the good things:
  • Easy online booking
  • 24/7 customer service
  • Professionally serviced
  • No booking fees
  • Insurance options
  • Verified booking (no chance of fraudulent posts)
  • Ability to cancel up to four days before with 15% fee

  • Vacation advisors can suggest the best information for your trip
Wyndham Vacation Rentals offer a full service getaway experience and you get the same security as you would for booking a hotel service with them. The Bad

  • Price delay
  • No mobile app
  • Present at checkout
Wyndham Vacation Rentals does have a few things they could improve upon. One issue with renting on the website with Wyndham Vacation Rentals is they have a 24 hour delay with prices in some countries. This means that for some of your booking needs you have to call in to get the best pricing and you might not be able to book online. Additionally, Wyndham Vacation Rentals does not offer a mobile app for convenience and booking- you have to visit their website or call in. Here are a few other things to keep in mind:
  • Limited Vacation Rentals in the United States
  • Limited online booking
  • No mobile app
  • No specific guarantees
Wyndham vacation Rentals also requires that you are present for check in and checkout. This means if you need an early check out you need to schedule it with Wyndham to avoid a fee. No one is allowed to just leave the rental property with out a face-to-face check out. Lastly, keep in mind that Wyndham Vacation Rentals will automatically add on a renter's insurance fee. If you want to avoid this fee you have to opt-out.

If you are renting Captain Morgan’s vacation rental, be aware the add says you can heat the pool water for a fee of $50 per day. Only problem, there is not any heater on the pool. We were refunded after I demanded it because the pool never had a heater on it. Oh, and if a smoke alarm is beeping, it takes over 5 hours to get the problem resolved. No ladders to correct the problem at the home.

They are unbelievably high pressure. Even after you buy, they are high pressure. Everytime you go for the parking pass, they push you to buy more. Just search the internet for "Wyndham parking pass". After you purchase you are seen as the sucker that already bought once. The sites are very nice and we've enjoyed them. Still not worth the money and hassle.

Sharon ,

Loved it when I first bought in. Then they merged with Wyndham. Now costs have gone through the ceiling. Quality is down. And I don’t like using same credits for motel room as for a condo. Almost impossible to reserve now. Too many members. I bought a percent ownership. Now it’s more like a timeshare. And everything costs more.
