I used Priceline to plan my trip to Florida and I didn't have any flaws. My flight was delayed and Priceline emailed me to give me updates on my flight. It was great. No problems at all.

I have purchased hotels and plane tickets through Priceline and find that they are reliable and useful. They try and find you the best deal for what you are looking for. I like that they offer deals on hotels that are really nice for a great price.

Always seem to find good options on Priceline. I have used the option to put in a bid and get what they give me a few times. I'm always nervous but it has always worked out well. I set my parameters, so it is what I want.

I have liked using Priceline to purchase airfare and hotels at a great price. They have a great cancellation policy of 24 hours and I trust them to resolve any issue that may arise in a timely manner.

I got the worst experience for the renting a car from Economy car rental(Pearson airport ) by Priceline! The good price of rental car attract pp and they scam the end when we return the car making excuse to charge the extra cost which they ‘ve never emphasis or clarify when we signed. Of course they took the deposit directly before any confirmation or contact from the manager who should call! Every customers for return cars at the office accused of violating their agreement and overcharged for the amount of the security deposit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I signed up online to pay $54 a day for a little car, then after I hit the button to pay, the rate jumped up to $106 per day. Plus, they have a no-cancellation policy. So, I am stuck paying twice the rate I had agreed to. What Priceline does should be illegal, if it isn't. I will NEVER do business with them again, and I would advise everyone to stay away if you don't want to get ripped off.

These people should go to jail. From “not being able to reach the hotel front desk” to confirm my booking as I stood there waiting for the phone to ring, to not even refunding the booking. I was fortunate enough to pay $750 for two bookings in order to get a hotel room because of these crooks. Avoid the hassle and frustration, book with a hotel direct

My recent experience with Priceline was terrible! I tried to book both car rentals and airline tickets on their site, filled in all the required information, clicked on "Complete Reservation", and it simply would not process. I tried it several times, to no avail. There is no phone support or online chat support unless you've already successfully made your reservation...and you can't make the reservation by phone. A completely frustrating process! How can they even stay in business with this kind of insensitivity to customer satisfaction?!

Terrible service!!! Unwilling by all means to please a client. The app design will lead you to scam deals where you get (without previous disclosure) a tiny-bunk “airplane bath size” room with a twin bed with no guaranteed chance for accomodation upgrade. This is something that no other travel agency has ever done to me for a 3+ star hotel deal. I had nightmares after several attemps with around five (5) different service representative for them to fix the issue. Got nothing but false apologies.

Booked a van (paid in full in September) through Priceline in September 2021 to use March 2022. Received a call from rental agency two days before travel, they did not have the van available. Further, they do not rent vans. Priceline advertised, booked and took money for a van that did not exist. After 2 hours waiting, Priceline offered to refund the money, not find me a van. So a day before travel, I am looking for a suitable replacement. Never again with Priceline. Do not waste your time.

They provide false information like free cancelation etc they charge me after 1 month for my car rental which i canceled and at that time they sad its free cancelation no charge deducted. Instead of renting car from them rent its with your other local provider. Priceline show cheapest rate but when you go there charge highest insurance premium which not included at booking time. they are not customer friendly if you cancel they charge you and say read our terms and condition which is written in very small letter.

If I could no stars I would. These people told me if I canceled, even though it was within just the hour of making a reservation, that I would still be charged the hotel fee of $193.96 ——-so even though I canceled, I still have to pay for the reservation—full price. Now how lowdown and dirty and is that. I explained that my Covid-19 test came up positive and I didn’t know that when the reservation was made. I had been exposed but had no symptoms. And these people had the nerve to tell me I couldn’t get a refund even if I canceled.

Priceline does not respect his his quotation and even prepaid payment. Recently, I ordered rental car through paceline in Toronto. When I went rental location they overcharged me 75$. I contacted Priceline and they did not respond. Economy Car rental as per clients review is cheating and overcharging people and Priceline supports them. So it means they are in the same board. Avoid those companies.

I had financial loss of personal items at a hotel and Priceline would not give me any financial compensation other than to offer a site unseen 15% coupon if I agree to it on the phone without emailing me anything that I could read. My losses included medication just under $50 as well as numerous food items that were destroyed by freezing because they maid decided to try defrosting the freezer that was frozen solid by actually turning the freezer colder and all food was frozen and medication frozen and ruined.

Worst company I have worked with. Don’t go third party if you can help it. Their non-refundable policy is unacceptable. We got upgraded to a car that was much larger than the car we ordered. Ended up not working out for us and was more of a hassle than a help. We returned the car the same day. Even though Dollar would refund us the money for the unused days, Priceline refuses to refund the money since the policy is non-refundable. We will never be booking through Priceline again. Just awful and not a good company to be helping you with your vacation plans.

I tried renting out a car this last summer from them and they did not have the car when I showed up. I gave them benefit of the doubt and figured it was a mistake not on their behalf. When I called they offered no refund or help so I spent the entire vacation without a car. Eventually my bank had to take legal action on them for not providing me a car after I made a purchase

The Priceline app is a scam. I went to Priceline to book a hotel for 4 nights. There were choices among Standard Room ($79, flexible), King Suite ($84 =higher rate, flexible), King Suite ($81, nonrefundable). They deceived me into booking the King Suite, nonrefundable just to tell me that the hotel’s Standard Room is King Suite. If it's not deception, you tell me why would a person pay $2 more/night for the same room type that‘s nonrefundable????

I do not recommend this company, a cancellation was made for a hotel stay which they never processed due to an apparent error in the system as I was told by their senior agents. They still refused to process the cancellation and charged me in full. A legal case should be brought against this company because I was told by the hotel that this is not the first time this has happened.

Terrible. I booked a hotel room at the Best Western Premier Denham in Leduc through Priceline. It said Free Breakfast. I even took screenshots as I booked that showed this. Horrible experience, a flight was postponed because of covid. I had until oct 12th to get tickets set, so I called and got a 6 month extension till march, turns out priceline chose to credit me back sooner anyway(oct 12th). They credited me back my $512 in tickets, but kept the $1,028 that was labeled as fees and taxes. Oh and insult to injust I had travel insurance I paid extra for, and they said the travel insurance didn't cover the expiration lol. I will never do business with them again.

Customer service is the worst and none of the agent knows what the other has already completed for them to go from there. You will be on the call and be hearing winds blowing in the background and babies crying. Honestly there is no words to describe such bad service.

Horrible. Booked a hotel for my trip, it said "Flexible cancellation until Jan 2" turns out flexible cancellation means you have to pay 3 days. My trip was only for 4 days. I wanted to cancel just 20 minutes after booking because I looked into the hotel and it wasn't what I wanted, thinking I had time to change my mind. Now my trip isn't going to be what I wanted it to be thanks to priceline's totally misleading claims.

I think that priceline ha to implement gentle exception to policies for reservations that are made in the wrong city of a state. After repeated. request to speak to customer service agents there was an intense refusal and lack of understanding for any mistakes in the reservation process. It seems that the hotel/motels and priceline are both supporting each other at ( keeping the money with no alterations in reservations at) the expense of the customer . Its quite shameful and unprofessional to see such sharking with this business .

Booked the Super 8 in Golden, BC for Dec.8, 2021 through Priceline based on the price (US$57 + tax) and the availability of breakfast and a hot tub. When we arrived, the hotel advised that breakfast and the hot tub have both been shut down since the pandemic began. Since it was prepaid, the hotel said that could do nothing. When we contacted Priceline customer support and requested a US$20 partial refund, we were told we could not be compensated. The matter was supposedly referred to the agent's supervisor but 48 hours has passed and we've heard nothing.

I am extremely disappointed with Priceline. Book a trip from BOS to Rome, Italy on June 14th, 2021. Found out the day before my flight was suppose to leave (September 25th, 2021) that my family did not have flights secured for my trip. Don't worry, they did issue me a refund. I just finished up booking my new flight through Expedia. Unfortunately, because Priceline did not give us enough notice that our flight was cancelled, we have to pay top dollar for a flight. Pricebreakers offers - new service - rip-off. Charged 30% tax rate on a room in a state that has a 6.5% tax rate for hotel rooms. Plan to share with the state taxation department as well as Better Business Bureau. Contacted CS and asked for an explanation and a refund for over-charge. No help, no answers, no explanation - told me I was 'stuck' with the deal as charged to my card. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again will I use Priceline.com.

The "Pricebreakers" deals are so deceptive. They quote a rock bottom price and then hit you with the "Additional Mandatory Fee." I was trying to book 2 nights in San Francisco. I was quoted $165/night. At the payment screen there is an additional $78 in "taxes and fees" mind you that the hotel tax in SF is only 15%. Then inconspicuously at the bottom, the Additional Mandatory Fee was $544!! That brought the total to $962 when the quote was for $164/night. I'm trying to book a hotel in downtown SF not an all inclusive resort. Complete scam.

Priceline is one of the worst travel sites in the industry. If you do plan to use them, which I will never do again, Do NOT pay for your trip in advance, always do the pay later option. They are 100% inflexible and will not refund, change or modify so you better hope nothing changes with your plans. Their customer service reps do nothing but cite policy and refuse your request. Every travel site in the industry has cancellation options and provides a relatively painless "out" if you need it. Not Priceline, they will keep your money. Wretched company.

Priceline Pricebreaker tool is a scam and Priceline is no longer a viable option: Priceline is now using a non-cancelable tool called 'Pricebreaker' and packaging one low star hotel between more valuable properties. If you buy, you are booked at the 1 or 2-star, not the 3.5 star plus. I didn't even notice they were packaging properties of such different caliber together until I was booked - and of course, no way to get out of it! On the phone they're saying I can't use that for the normal rate and even though I can find the exact same flights they insist I have to pay 50-75% more because I'm using my credit. As stated here customer service is horrible. Always get someone in India who can't seem to do anything and just transfers me back into the same 1hr + wait time queue when I ask to speak to someone who can. Once they get your money there is nothing you can do to get it back.
