  • Focus on the U.S. and Canada

No Rewards Program

Travelocity does not offer its customers a reward program of any kind, although customers who join can save 10% more on select hotels.

Focus on the U.S. and Canada

Americans looking to travel to other continents may not have the best luck with Travelocity. Although the company does offer a few deals for exotic travel destinations, it puts the majority of its focus towards providing deals for customers in the United States and Canada.

The Bottom Line

Travelocity offers multiple travel services and booking options, plus travel insurance and a mobile app. However, the addition of a rewards program or a rewards credit card would be welcomed by many.

Travelocity has the dumbest employees working there. I called in regards to a name change for my boyfriend who is Puerto Rican. In some cases Puerto Ricans honor their mothers last name. My boyfriend license was expired so he had to renew it. DMV added an extra last name on his license so it wasnt the same on our itinerary. I called the airline the girl said dont worry it easily fixable but you need to call travelocity since you booked with them. I called and girl said Puerto Rico is an international country and you need a passport to fly there so whatever is on the passport is what we go by. I corrected the girl and said no its domestic, you dont need a passport it's part of the USA . And she went on to say well I need to see if JetBlue will honor a hyphenated last name on the name change. I cant with these stupid people. Travelocity needs to train their employees better. They were not helpful at all. I will deal with this at the airport myself.
