TEKsystems

TEKsystems' skill assessment is deeply flawed. Since they don't appear to employ any technical recruiters, you are instead sent to take an online assessment. Mine was 4 problems of medium complexity that were within my ability to solve. As an experienced interviewer, I'd peg each questions as requiring about an hour to solve and implement. The total test was limited to 85 minutes. Those problems were in no way soluble in 21 minutes each unless you had previously solved them. Classic issue of "gotcha" programming problems. When you don't do well on that assessment, their worse behavior will emerge. You are immediately ghosted. No feedback. No letdown. No encouragement to apply again. Nothing. This is infuriatingly unprofessional, and I will never work with TEKsystems again.

Here's how I think of TekSystems: Dream girl asks you on a date out of the blue, picks YOU up, takes YOU out to dinner, you have a great meal, great convo, sparks are flying, then she excuses herself to use the bathroom to freshen up. An hour later, you realize she left 55 minutes ago, leaving you wondering what happened? Three months later, different girl, the same thing happens. Three months later, different girl, it happens again. That's exactly how TekSystems operates. Don't waste your time with this agency; make no mistake, you are nothing but a number and a potential dollar to them...nothing more. I've been contacted by Tek 7 times in the past 2 1/2 years. On the outset, they are your best friend, very nice, very professional and lead you to believe they will find you a job. Once they decide your usefulness has run out, they will go dark and disappear in an instant...wash, rinse and repeat. Over and over and over again. There are no follow up emails, no communication, no nothing if it presents no value to them. I'm quite certain they've placed people in jobs without a doubt of course, but for the majority of people, it will be nothing more than a pipe dream. The same phone conversations, same questions answered, same tasks performed, same scenario again and again and again...absolute waste of time and energy. Save yourself some aggravation and do something more productive...like anything short of shooting narcotics.

Worst recruiting firm I’ve ever dealt with. People are unprofessional and would ignore you if they don’t see flashing dollar sign on your head. Talked with a few recruiters and met some in person only to have my time wasted with their silly and idiotic processes such as taking Windows 7 troubleshooting skill test for a project coordinator role (please note that Windows 10 is already the latest OS at that time). Recruiter was also late during the meeting. Don’t ever waste your time with this firm. They’re mostly selfish unqualified recruiters that probably come from sales background and treat people as their goods to be sold.

The recruiters in Belgium that contacted me are unprofessional , I don't want any contact with TEKsystem recruiters anymore. They have sent my candidature without my permission which had an impact on my credibility and job opportunities. These names have a bad taste ... TEKsystems , Allegis , Aston Carter , Eurostaffinggroup ... probably there are professional people working there but the bad ones should know they represent their company and should behave professionally ..

Discriminatory against older I.T. workers. As others have pointed out, they are friendly and vivacious at first. Then you never hear from them again. Nor do they respond to voice mails or emails. Don't waste time with these time wasters..

Unprofessional attitude of agents. Perform CV fishing by refusing to send application before having a reference first. Also discriminate against those who have technical references who are foreign.

Very unprofessional, immature and inexperienced. Very weak in building relationships I would never recommend this recruiter. There are far better agencies in Toronto

Very unprofessional recruitment agency to work with.
