Financing to Fit Customers’ Needs

Personalized Design and Installation
Solnova draws up a plan tailored to the specifications of each client’s property.
The Bad
- Limited Service Area
- Young Company
- Important Information Not Shared
- No Specific Product Choice
Limited Service Area
The company's service area is limited to the following states:
- California
- Nevada
- Utah
- Arizona
- Colorado
- New Mexico
- Texas
- Louisiana
- South Carolina
- North Carolina
Young Company
SolNova is a new company in the industry. Without an established track record, some consumers may feel there is a risk of Solnova not being around long enough to take care of existing customers. We generally recommend that you look for a solar company that has five years in the industry.
Important Information Not Shared
Important information about financing, service areas, certifications, and warranties is not readily available for Solnova. Well-rated solar companies provide potential customers with information about their start, as well as who they partner with for financing. Information about certifications, good reviews, incentives, and manufacturing partners can also help consumers feel more confident in their services.
No Specific Product Choice
Solnova claims it doesn’t use a particular product for solar panels to allow more options for homeowners. This may be a red flag for consumers considering this company. Consumers should look for companies that use well-known, quality products. Great companies in the solar industry list the products, manufacturers, and warranties of specific products for their customers to review.
The Bottom Line
We wouldn’t recommend consumers use Solnova as a solar contractor. It doesn’t have much information available or have the markers we look for in a well-respected solar contractor. Online reviews can be a powerful tool when looking for a solar company, and there are very few available for Solnova. We want customers to have excellent experiences with companies we suggest and unfortunately, this isn’t one we feel can offer consumers the customer service our readers deserve.
